da die Transaktionsgebühren bei Gox nicht gerade günstig sind überlege ich eine $-Überweisung auf ein SEPA-Konto vorzunehmen.

Gibt es da irgendwelche Probleme? Oder verlangt Gox horrende Wechselgebühren?

Ich muss gestehen ich habe erst jetzt mitbekommen das geminte Coins nicht unter den Sachverhalt der privaten Veräußerung fallen und daher auch nach über einem Jahrhaltefrist vollkommen versteuert werden müssen.

Das bedeutet von jedem geminten Coin dürften gut 1/3 abgezogen werden da die Steuer wohl über den Daumen gepeilt dort landen dürfte, eventuell sogar höher.

Damit hat sich eigentlich jeglicher eventueller ROI erledigt, imo.

Noticing the recent inner-Bitcoin discussions about "Coin Validity", Bitcoin Foundation etc i think the biggest threat for a successful expansion and adoption of Bitcoin is a possible developer breakup leading to a hard fork or even several forks.

Taking into account the often difficulty and immature personalities in those circles i really see that as a big threat to Bitcoin as a whole. Even bigger than technical problems or governmental issues. Especially since adoption, capitalization and media coverage are strongly building up.

yesterday i did two transactions:

Both in the same electrum wallet.

The blockchain explorer shows for both transactions alot confirmations but none of the funds are showing up in my electrum wallet.

Whats wrong?

Windows 8 has brought some driver issues. I could install the Windows 7 Server Version.

I never used a Windows Server Edition. Just a normal Windows 7 + Serverstuff or not a good idea to switch to?
