I had experienced customer support of some exchanges/wallets, such as zebpay, binomo and wazirx. From the customer support perspective it is the interface and use of bot that is making experience least desirable. What are your experiences with the customer support of various exchanges? What part of customer support needs some serious overhaul.

Hi there, I recently received complete withdrawal of fiat currency by zebpay. I am not 100% sure here, that I had raised any withdrawal request. Has anyone experienced similar experiece. I am thankful that zebpay returned the fiat. I'm bit curious what might have happened there. There customer support needs some reality check.

Hello, From time to time, it has been proven that storing cryptos in a hot-wallet is dangerous. As of now there are three to four ways to store the coins offline aka cold-storage of crypto. There is 1. paperwallet (more information is available in this forum) 2. warpwallet: this is a hardware-based storage option, TREZOR is a well known example. 3. Last but not least there is a hotkay option, which is nothing but a bootable USB linux distro, designed for the crypto storage.
If you tend to use cold-storage methods then what is your favorite option to store crypto? And why?

In 2018, banking regulatory body in India issued a circular to the Indian banking and financial institutes to ban any trading in cryptocurrencies. The India's crypto-association moved to the court against this decision. As the case reached to the apex court of India, the verdict was eagerly awaited by both parties. Today the apex court has overturned the circular which banned crypto-trading. It stated that the decision from banking regulators was unconstitutional. This news will have a much needed positive effect to the Indian crypto-market. Respected companies which were active in trading are slowly resuming their services. I personally think this should be considered as a ground-breaking decision which not only decriminalized crypto-trading but also gave much needed legal status to the crypto-currencies in India. Do you think other countries should have similar approach to the crypto? Recently Zebpay, which was dormant from crypto-exchange operations in India, has been seen making a comeback. There have been changes in their management and their wallet keeping policy. I've experienced zebpay as one of decent service provider and they really wanted to do the business in the Indian-crypto market. Every service provider have their pros and cons, so does the zebpay. It is good that they are making a comeback. However this time they are charging for the wallet maintenance.
* What is your opinion about their comeback? * Do you think charging for wallet service on monthly basis justified?

For those of you who do not who Amiht Bdhardwaj is or what gainbifncoin was, should really read about it. So far the court proceedings about this scam or so called scam are yet to see some definitive steps. It might happen that case may get quicker results or it may be dragged in the judiciary proceedings. As of now most of the accused are out on bail. The bail has been granted on various grounds. Before the second peak bitcoin took the world by storm and suddenly everyone was talking about this new found gold/oil in form of digital crypto currency. The gold rush before that peak such powerful that investments from all over the world was pouring in from all walks of society globally. Unfortunately the correction happened after that peak was so brutal that many lost their hopes towards bitcoin forever. However those who were regular or familiar with the bitcoin world were aware of such volatility and somewhat prepared for it as well. Thus those veteran did not lose their hope. Bitcoin peaked somewhere around 17k USD to 20k USD and now it is somewhere around 3.5k USD - 5k USD. Many investors have lost huge amount of money who were not considering potential loss due to uncertainty.
What is your opinion and observations, about hurdles faced regarding raising funds, by someone who wants to establish business based on bitcoin? How difficult it has became to convince investors to put their money in bitcoin or alt-crypto based project?

Very few of us have seen first rise and nose-dive of bitcoin. Then came the tremendous growth report of bitcoin which forced the world to take bitcoin and alt-coin seriously. This tremendous growth soon started to get correctly. That is from 16000 USD to ~6200 USD correction has happened so far. As as of now the prices have remained stable about 6000 USD.
Do you think this the better time to go for bitcoin purchase spree again? As from the bitcoin price history bitcoin has shown tendency to spike periodically. Considering the bitcoin novelty has worn off across the glob, Now there is sufficient awareness about the bitcoin and crypto. what could be the driving factors If yes then what could be the driving factors for the growth? As previous factors may be less significant this time.

With latest update on zebpay-app it looks like zebpay is closing down their operations in India soon due to the RBI directives. Well the writing was on the wall since last few months as RBI and Indian Govt maintained their stern attitude towards the crypto in general. With blanket ban on crypto to cash conversion it become very difficult for bitcoin and crypto community to survive.

Hello all,
From time to time I've seen that for joining bounty and signature campaigns have imposed certain rules to ensure better candidates are enrolling. And at the same time campaign is reaching wide spread as well. Things have started to become weirder with every season when campaign admin imposes new rules which makes the joining those campaigns an awful experience. Then again candidates join it for monetary(there is nothing wrong in it). However from time to time even a good poster may be having second thoughts about joining these campaigns.
My intention is to short list those reason which are so awful and pathetic that you move away from these campaign or even if you join them you loathe them.
You could add your own additional reasons in comment section as well.
PS: fixed some typos and framing of sentences.

SInce last few days it has been observed that sMerit points are not topping-up after month. Question How often does sMerit get top-up? If it is monthly: then why it is not reflecting?
Does it require current sMerit to be drained in order to get new merit points?
PS: I've referred original merit thread which covers its introduction. It does not cover this.

From the CNN, so called crypto analysts thinks that bitcoin may hit 25000 Dollars https://www.ccn.com/bitcoin-at-25000-price-is-headed-to-the-moon-analyst/The bitcoin price is headed for the stratosphere. The bitcoin forecasts have been pouring in from seasoned investors and strategists like Tim Draper and Thomas Lee, each with a bullish price attached. Now Brian Kelly, founder and CEO of digital assets investment fund BKCM LLC, is joining the chorus, suggesting that bitcoin could set a new record in the short-term.

PS: I wont mind if you give merit to me for my good posts.

Though there is already a thread exposing the gainbitcoin is plain simple fraud, conman from the gainbitcoin have launched new site called gb21. They now have spread their operations in many east asian countries. These countries are the one This fictional person/entity Matt Ciullo looks like pseudonym from Mr. Amit for himself. It is not difficult to link all the cues and deduce that matt ciullo is fictitious identity created by Mr. AB. Beware of this scam as this scam is far from over. Those f#kers are still active and still trying to convince new recruits. So if you came across crypto currency "investment scheme' like gb21 remember that it is scam.

Within a year and half, bitcoin value soared from ~$1000 to the staggering $16000 dollars. Everywhere around the world, bitcoin became the buzzword. After touching 16000 USD value, bitcoin value faltered considerably. Today the value stands somewhere around 8500 USD to the 9000 USD range. Many new-investors from many countries have almost lost their investment after this. I think this price correction is good for the bitcoin and alt-crypto as well. Why? : * Correction is way of setting up appropriate expectation. (what goes in up also come down) * Bitcoin and crypto is not like your normal stock-market. Rather it is more volatile ans susceptible to market manipulations. * People with heart for financial freedom will remain with bitcoin and or alt-crypto for sure. Gold diggers will vanish as soon as party is over. * People understood the value of crypto more seriously.
Bitcoin has still more potential to be explored. Whatever happened with bitcoin will make it stronger.
What do you think whether this fall in value of bitcoin is good for it or not?

When it comes to the investment, many newcomers or people with frequent requirement find it difficult to invest for longer amount of time. Here by short investment i mean any investment which is less than year old. That investment has been cashed out within a year. And by long term investment I mean investment which will be kept for more than year ( ideally 10 years or so). What do you think which is more beneficial short term investment or long term investment

A global currency is the great way to rule the trade world. That is why we see there are countries fighting(not literal war) with each other for dominance over global currency status. The countries like USA or EURO or China have their currencies which have acceptance across the world. In current world trade scenario, US dollars single handedly most significant global currency. It has maintained that status since last century. In modern world, a revolution named bitcoin happened in world of economics/ currency. Now bitcoin is already on its way to become the global currency. However it is that path is way more long that expected. Bitcoin has the required potential and the push from investors to become the global currency. Still there are certain cons which bitcoin developers need to take care.
What do you think the pros and cons of bitcoin becoming global currency compared to the USD which is already there.
