21  Economy / Services / [Closed] Torrents - I'll Download or Host yours for cheap on: January 22, 2012, 11:02:03 AM
So here this goes.  I have never offered anything for BTC before, so i'll start dirt cheap  Grin

Here how it'll work:
You send me your .torrent any way you want,
I download it for you,
and i'll either
  • give you an SSL link, and/or
  • seed it for you upto xx GB

My connection is a 25mbit/25mbit, you'll get at most a 3.1MByte/s upload and download.
If you do not want to be charged for what it uploads while downloading, i can arrange for it not to upload.

Like i said, this is my first service so I know some are pretty gun shy, so it'll be cheap.
How about for the first customers,
  • 0-99.9GB: 0.002BTC/GB
  • 100GB - 499GB: 0.0015BTC/GB
  • 500GB +: 0.0012BTC/GB (0.6BTC / 500GB)

Other things i'll do for you,
if you have a TD account, i'll download anything from there with my account, and use your torrent if you wish.  (I know this is a trust issue, but you can trust me, in time).
22  Bitcoin / Mining / Mine with deepbit on: June 08, 2011, 07:16:00 AM
and you run the risk of helping destroy bitcoins.

Please take your miners away from deepbit, hell go solo, you could get that 50 BTC block before we hit the 25 ones.  Also it'd be a good learning experience especially if you have more than one.

I am no longer going to use it as a backup.

And no one dare say Tycho wouldn't do it.  Thats not my main concern, what if someone gains control of it...Even if hes the most honest guy in the world, he'd have no control.  Right now, and if it grows more, he will be the only target.

please, i beg you, turn your miners away, and try and get others that are not on the forum much to read the wall of threads.
23  Bitcoin / Mining / Signs of overloaded/Hot PSU? on: May 23, 2011, 07:02:43 AM
Are there any signs of a PSU being overloaded(besides turning off) or overheated?  Like do voltages fluctuate when it gets hot? I cannot get the Watt usage from the wall right now.

Its a 650w PSU, AMD Phenom 9600, AMD HD 6970 - Slight OC.  3HDD, and thats pretty much it.  The air from the PSU smells semi bad, and its really hot when mining (i know why), and i dont know if this is too much.

I am able to 100% load my CPU without it turning off, so i know its not that far into it's max.

What is worrying me is the card is a 2 slot and pulls air out of the case, and i know the air flow slows down at other exits because of it.  The PSU fan is trying hard too.  Just some advice as some warning signs of a hot PSU?

24  Bitcoin / Mining / Why is our hashing power declining? on: May 12, 2011, 08:39:38 PM
Why a bit after the difficulty increase, is our hashing power declining, did a significant amount of miners stop?  if so, and you are one, why?
