1  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] GPU Mining Rig- 5x Gigabyte WF3 7950 on: July 22, 2013, 07:38:33 PM
Mining Rig For Sale.  $1800 OBO BTC/LTC accepted!

Hardware:

GPUs - 5x Gigabyte WF3 7950
MOBO - MSI Z77a-GD65
CPU - Intel Celeron G1610 Ivy Bridge
RAM - Corsair Vengence 16GB (4x4GB)
PSU - LEPA G Series 1600W 80 Plus Gold

This is a really stable rig.  Cards run at 75C and has at 3000Kh/s.  You can push the hash rate to 3300Kh/s but it is a little less stable.  Let me know if you have any questions.

I am located on Long Island.  If your local we can meetup (Pickup or Dropoff) otherwise i can ship to continental US.

I also have 2 additional GPUs (same as above) for sale and a Rosewill Lightning 1300W continuous 80 Plus Gold PSU for sale!

Make your best offer!  I want to get everything sold ASAP!!!

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Really high LW in cgminer- need help on: June 28, 2013, 01:59:01 PM
I started to notice that the LW value in cgminer is showing a very high number.  It is almost 1:1 with my accepted shares.  What does LW mean?  Is it a bad thing?  How do i fix it?  Thanks for the help!

4  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / 5x7950 Gigabyte WF3 Rig using 1475 Watts!!! on: June 13, 2013, 07:50:41 PM
I am running 5 7950s, Gigabyte WF3 with the f43 undervolted bios and the rig is using 1475 watts at the wall.  I just purchased a kill-a-watt meter and am in disbelief.  I have flashed the f43 bios to the cards, so the voltage of the cards is now 1.09 volts.  That is like 300W per card!!!!!  This seems way to high.  I have read these cards are supposed to be using less than 200W per card.  Any suggestions?
5  Other / Beginners & Help / 7950 or 7970 for mining rig on: April 09, 2013, 01:22:26 AM
Building an open case mining rig.  my buddy (Xwebnetwork) will be building one as well.  We are undecided about going with 7950 or 7970...what do you think.  Here is my rig

Mobo - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130643
CPU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116889

or
4x 7950 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202026

not really sure about GPU selection...I have been trying to research but am seeing mixed reviews on hash rates.  I do not have my heart set on the GPUs listed above they are just the ones which seem to have the best price currently on newegg.

Also i want to get powered risers right?

Thanks for all the help!!
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Problems with 7870...Low hash rate...please help! on: April 07, 2013, 11:15:36 PM
I have searched every where and tried every setting imaginable and i cannot get my new 7870 above 270Kh/s.  I have 2 video cards a 6870 which mines at around 295 Kh/s and the 7870 mining at 270Kh/s.  I am using cgminer 2.11.4 and have also downloaded and tried cgminer 2.11.3.  here is my config command:

cgminer --scrypt -o pool:port -u username -p password --intensity 18,19 --worksize 256 --gpu-threads 1 --thread-concurrency 6720,16128 --auto-fan --auto-gpu  --temp-target 68

GPU0 is the 6870 and GPU1 is the 7870.

Can someone please help me modify these settings to maximize my hash rate.  I think the 6870 is doing pretty well but the 7870 should have a lot more in it.

6870: XFX HD-687A-ZHFC
7870: MSI R7870-2GD5T/OC
7  Other / Beginners & Help / New GPU...low hash rates...please help! on: April 06, 2013, 02:03:49 PM
I just started mining and have been using my computers 6870.  Everything has been working pretty well and i have been getting about 300 Kh/s.  So i went to the store last night and after a bunch of research i purchased a 7870.  it was on sale and i saw online that people were getting hash rates of about 400-450 Kh/s.

After installing my brand new second card i started mining, and the new card just will not perform!!!  i cannot get more than about 275Kh/s.  I searched and searched last night for hours trying to get this going.  I tried different thread concurrencies, intensities, pools, i updated the drivers to the newest version, as well as the newest BETA.  I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO PLEASE HELP!!!! haha

Any suggestions?
