Economy / Speculation / Back to $5 BTC
|
on: December 18, 2013, 01:26:55 PM

China no longer has positive influence, so probably going to sink down all the way to $5 each now.
After United States, Japan, Europe, and other countries/continents find ways to ban BTC by the gov and banks refusing wires to/from exchange sites, then value will probably have another flash crash down to $0.01 per bitcoin like the one in 2011. At that point, I might pick up 1,000 BTC for novelty.

Economy / Speculation / BTC excitement is over, value going down.
|
on: July 01, 2013, 07:44:22 PM

We had our chance when the media helped people to discover BTC earlier this year, but now the excitement is over, common sense coming back, and value going down. Post about how high it will go is useless, since the value is going down not up. So the real question is how low will the value go? And how soon? Probably a long gradual decline until someone dumped their big stash on the market to make it flash drop value further reducing confidence. GG

Economy / Speculation / How much money do you have?
|

How much cash do you own? Not value of your house, but real cash. Anyone got saved up for investing? Or we all broke and borrowing? Who's actually got money to invest in bad economy?

Economy / Speculation / When will you sell?
|
on: May 21, 2013, 02:06:23 AM
|
So for the people that are holding on now, in hopes the price will go up so they can sell for profit, when will you sell? Last crash was at $266. Will you panic sell at $250? Hold off for higher?
For those that don't want to sell, don't want profit, and are here cause you believe in BTC and don't care about real money, then move along, nothing to see here. This is just between us people trying to make a few bucks.

Economy / Speculation / End of BitCoin Exchangers
|
on: April 18, 2013, 08:55:00 AM
|
Huge amounts of money recently got dumped into BTC at a chance to make a quick profit, and now people are racing to withdraw their money cause the exchangers are closing down. Banks around the world are starting to refuse to do business with anyone involved with BTC. The banks are freezing and closing accounts that have anything to do with BTC. The banks and government can't take your BTC, but you won't be able to send/receive any real money either for them. Merchants that accept BTC for payment probably cause they can quickly convert it to cash through exchangers. What will happen to all these merchants when they can't convert to cash anymore? Will they continue to sell product and services for a BTC that can't be converted? At what personal cost are they willing to do this? Gold and Silver coins for example, are those BTC businesses going to continue shipping you gold and silver coins for BTC when they can't get any dollars for BTC? We all knew it was going to end this way, even though most people were in denial. The big banks and government have no control over BTC itself, so they are going after the exchangers like we knew they would. BTC will probably be around for a LONG time to come simple cause it can't be shut down. It'll just be fun and have no value real soon. And by no value, I mean not even $0.01 since there will be no more exchangers soon. Game Over

Economy / Speculation / Everyone failed.

People are into BTC cause they believe in this new idea, or they are hoping to get rich (like having faith in a certain stock to increase in value).
For those people trying to get rich, yeah lots of money they lost.
And for this new idea? Its dying now. It won't completely go away though. Even a 10-20 year old video game still has a few people that play it once in a while, even though majority of people could care less.

Economy / Speculation / MtGox is a dead horse!
|

So your at the race track and one of the horses suddenly died. Why are you still betting on that horse? Its obviously not going anywhere and your going to lose money.
And I know there is no point in beating a dead horse, but it sure is entertaining.

Economy / Speculation / MtGox Lag

They keep shutting down to upgrade or fix their lag or something, but every time they come back up, they still lag.
