And if you have seen these videos, People are lining up outside the retail stores to buy them all around the world.

Phone is getting great reviews because of its price and specs.  I am just hoping mine arrives before they are totally sold out.  Is anyone else planning on getting one?

Isn't it crazy how all the different governments are telling people how & when then can spend THEIR OWN money?  Can wait for bitcoin to be mainstream and trump all the government imposed laws!

Can your DVD or porn library fill this up?  Not bad for only $260.  I remember buying a gigabyte drive for $1000 many many years ago.

10  Other / Off-topic / So how much would you pay for this wire Mobile? on: November 04, 2014, 08:04:41 AM
So how much would you pay for this wire twisted Mobile made in the 1950s?

Believe it or not, YOU (Yes YOU!) probably would pay $5,000, $10,000, $50,000 or even more to own this!  Why do I say that?  Well this stupid wire twisted Mobile appraised for up to a $1,000,000 on Antique Roadshow!  I think I am going to give up Bitcoins and start cranking out Mobiles!!!  Unbelievable....   Shocked Shocked Shocked

I guess it was made by a famous artist named Alexander Calder in the 1950s.  See the appraisal video below.

11  Other / Off-topic / After 45+ years, lawyers are suing for infringement on: October 22, 2014, 07:34:30 PM
This week I have read two articles about lawyers suing for copyright infringement or stolen materials even though the alleged activities happen a 1/2 century or more ago.  You would think there would be a statue of limitations on these type of lawsuits.

The first one is in regards to Led Zepplin's Stairway To Heaven.  The group "Spirit" claims the track was stolen from them.  If you listen to both songs, they are somewhat similar.

http://time.com/3528555/led-zeppelin-loses-first-round-in-stairway-to-heaven-lawsuit/

The next lawsuit has Oklahoma State suing NMSU over mascot likeness after 50 years of usage.  The two mascots are obviously the same.  Just wonder why it takes this long for them to come out of the wood works?

I guess lawyers are always looking for a way to make a buck....even decades later....

Georgia Tech fans won't need to hit the ATM to pay for snacks and drinks at games soon, as the school reached a deal to become the first college program to use bitcoin for concessions sales.

16  Other / Meta / Finally figured out why I couldn't connect to Bitcointalk.org on: October 02, 2014, 04:32:11 AM
Over the last 10 days or so I was unable to connect to Bitcointalk.org on my cellphone and it was driving me crazy.  First thought I had was the VPNs (I use a lot of different ones) I use were being IP blocked by this forum.  I tried a lot of different free ones and even tried my straight ISP but still had no luck. My PC and Ipad were working fine so I knew it had to be an issue on my phone.  Next thing I did was wipe the cookies and cache on my cellphone.  Still didn't get me anywhere.  So I figured the browser I was using had an issue.  Tried chrome, dolphin, firefox, etc. but to no avail they all showed bitcoingtalk.org offline and not accessible.  This was getting frustrating.  As a last resort I reset my phone to factory and loaded up a new custom rom.  After 3 hours of re-configuring everything I tried to come back to this site but it still was not allowing me access. Baffled, I was wondering if Theymos had some trick up his sleeve and had written some type of server-side script to (accidently) block me somehow and I was trying to ponder all the possible ways.  Couldn't really come up with an answer until.....it dawned on me....

My pop-up blocker may be the culprit.  Sure enough, Adaway was using a blacklist source (Adblock also uses) to block ads that has bitcointalk.org domain on it by changing the hosts file.  Not sure why this forum is listed on the Adblock blacklist other than it may be serving up ads like primedice and other advertisements to other sites and someone added it to the blacklist.  I guess it could have also been accidentally added.

Here is one of the blacklist sources that Adaway by default downloads:
http://adblock.mahakala.is (27+ MB Hosts file)

As you can see there are a few other bitcoin domains on the list. I have now added BCT to my whitelist and everything is now A-OK.  Anyhow, I'm glad I finally figured this damn issue.  Only good thing to come out of it is I now have a freshly installed OS on my phone and cleaned up a few un-needed apks that were taking up space!

Hope this may help someone else....

There is a new radar gun being developed that can detect when a driver is texting.  It can detect the difference from cellphone frequency and SMS frequency.  Wonder how it will handle google hangouts...which I can talk or make calls over?

"Just on Wednesday, the United States publicly committed to Estonia's military defense, meaning that a Russian invasion of Estonia would trigger war between Russia and the US, a prospect so dangerous that the world managed to avoid it throughout even the Cold War."
