1  Other / Meta / Reminder for @theymos - Public-key-registration System on: September 06, 2018, 07:28:12 PM
Few months ago,I started a thread about how bitcointalk collect logs,IPs etc..
@theymos suggested a solution,to implement a public-key-registration system in order to let users who are registered within this system avoid IP logging.

I don't like that IPs are sometimes kept indefinitely. To prevent abuse, it would probably be sufficient to keep them for ~6 months. But keeping these logs long-term is extremely useful for account recoveries. I've been thinking about this issue, and I think that in the future I might let users opt out of long-term IP logging if they have a public key registered in a (currently-not-existing) public-key-registration system. Though, again, even then you should model this site and all sites as keeping complete logs.

@theymos I know you are busy, but please don't forget this.

Hello guys,
Today,I wanted to get access to my Samourai Bitcoin Wallet but I forgot about the pin code,so I decided to use the backup by reinstalling the app (The app automatically detects if a backup is available in my device or not) so I was asked to give my passphrase which I have written down when I first created the wallet;it doesn't work.So I turned myself to my mnemonic phrase that I have also written down,it do backup a wallet with 0 funds....
Help is highly appreciated!
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Are you aware that some Banks accept Bitcoin? on: July 29, 2018, 11:16:02 PM
Yo guys,
Are you aware that there is some banks that accept Bitcoin like Neteller or Skrill? I just discovered it so I was surprised. You can deposit your Bitcoin and use your Bank/Credit card to withdraw.
Now,it doesn't matter if Paypal adopt Bitcoin or not since it's primary competitors have already done so.*

10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Is it possible to do Arbitrage trading with USDT/BTC? on: July 22, 2018, 11:44:52 PM
Yo guys,
Alot of people practice arbitrage but they do USD/BTC which is a bit inconvenient since you have to transfer the USD to your bank account and re-do the same thing on the other exchange in question,so it would take quite a bit for time;enough to make arbitrage not worth doing anymore.
So my question is it possible to do arbitrage trading with USDT/BTC?

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / [AirdropService]Have a Steemit account? Earn 10$-160$ Depends on your Reputation on: July 18, 2018, 12:10:25 AM
Hello everyone!
Byteball is doing a crazy airdrop for steemians!
Steem reputation above 30: you get a $10 reward (If you have less than 30 reputation, you're not eligible, build it fast!)
Steem reputation above 40: you get a $20 reward
Steem reputation above 50: you get a $40 reward
Steem reputation above 60: you get a $80 reward
Steem reputation above 70: you get a $160 reward

Here's the instructions:

So...What is my service? If you read that steemit article:
Ask a fellow Steemian who already successfully completed the attestation, if you can borrow 0.0006 GB (Gigabytes) and have him send it to your wallet. As the user sending you the funds will receive the referral reward, it shouldn’t be hard to find willing donors.
Finally, the bot will ask you to pay the attestation fee to cover the transaction fee of storing the attestation (private or public) on the DAG. Simply click the “Payment request 0.5 MB”-link and send the funds.
So you will need some bytes to complete the airdrop (If you already have, you can skip my thread and go directly do the airdrop happy earning!) and if not,I'll send you the required amount for free! All I ask is to use my referral link of the airdrop so I earn 25% of what you earn!

You can PM me or contact me in telegram @Aveatrex to give you the referral link to download the wallet (You have to get my referral link before downloading the wallet or I won't receive anything!) and I'll send you the bytes to your address,in addition to that if you still have some difficulties doing the airdrop I'll provide support via telegram!

Happy Earnings!

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Steem Dollar SBD Back to 12$? on: June 24, 2018, 09:30:31 PM
Yo guys,
Steemit platform has a lot of potential,it's a really great way to reward writers.Last year,SBD has reached an All time high of 12$ but decreased in value gradually until reaching back ~1$.
Do you think it can get back to 12$ when the market rebounce?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / All Altcoins -10%+,Is it time to buy? on: June 22, 2018, 09:53:37 PM
Hello pals,
With the big crash of Bitcoin today from 6700$ to 6000$,all altcoins followed this path and now all top altcoins are red -10%.
Is is good time to buy considering the fact that Bitcoin can rebounce any time so Altcoins do the same? Or buying now during the dip is risky because it can go deeper?
What do you think?
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / This market is not about Solutions/Technology that a coin offers on: June 21, 2018, 05:10:29 AM
Hello guys,
I just wanted to share my opinion about something with you.We can clearly see that the market (price, market cap) isn't based on what the coin offers in terms of technology and solutions, and there is quite alot of examples to this;many coins accomplish their jobs as a cryptocurrency way better than Bitcoin and better than other top coins but still undervalued.
Let me know what you think.

19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Wrong sending address (Mistake in writting) on: June 14, 2018, 03:11:21 AM
Hello guys,
My question is if the sending address is being wrong ( doing a mistake while typing the addy) and funds is being sent to it,we all know that the funds will be lost but if the transaction is double-spent before it gets confirmed would that be a way to recover the funds?
Thanks in advance

PS:This is for educational purposes and is not happening to me.
