I am designing a device that is totally offline and portable that the user can use to create safe offline information and data such as business proposals etc. which can be worked on from remote locations free from external hacking and access, in which once the user is finished, can export to sd card or QR screen display for online uploading, Its an offline wallet. I have described some of its uses on reddit under the name eclecticuniversalas. I have hand built, used, and recorded its safe transactions on a global blockchain already. I retain all software copyrights of any applicable software. I am looking for help from developers and coders to make it mainstream. This proposed software would be installed upon either newly developed hardware, or existing older hardware such as an android phone. Any and all help on this endeavor would be appreciated. I am willing to work with already existing software developers such as Trezor, Nano, Bither, etc. , also hardware manufacturers, coders, venture capitalists, and any individuals interested in helping out with the project.

This is my web page that discusses this innovative device and its uses and implications. I am currently trying to gather together a team of developers and coders to start this project, As far as I know, I am the creator of said device and have used it wonderfully with all my Crypto currency transactions to date. . . The proposal website is here. . http://coldcrypto.weebly.com/

I have been using this device flawlessly for almost two months now, never missed a trade, never lost any BTC or ETH. All transactions have been recorded on the BTC and ETH blockchain. Its been totally offline and secure. my private keys are generated offline and only seen by me. My BTC/ETH addresses are easily stored on SD card (or paper). And all the addresses I have ever created or currently being used are saved in offline file folders and conveniently organized for quick access. I can generate addresses and store BTC while sitting in the park or in traffic, and I have never needed a PC or laptop to do this ever. . . Video update for the last month can be seen here, . . . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2flm-JuE4qM&t=7s

no answers yet on coinbase international bank transfer fees even though i am in the U.S. , is this just purchasing through debit card, or any bank transfers, is this just incoming from my bank for coinbase purchases? is it also outgoing usd to my bank? Anyone know the specifics, tired of losing my gains to all these online exchanges who have no stability, and tired of giving my bank info to them all online, just to have them change the rules and I have to find another, . beginning to think real estate is a better investment than the highly unstable exchange fees and the BTC exchange shuffle game. It's not profitable even when BTC elevates. And the ATM in my area charges up to 20%, I'm not in this to pay someone else all my profits. Anyone here have the answer to the international coinbase/bank fees while living in the U.S.?

Now that I have my offline BTC addresses with corresponding 2key qr icons, Is there a small simple graphic program I can use to make my own paper wallets with my own images on them, .say a pic of myself, or a beer, or an elk, or whatever, . just wanting to print my own bills with my own design with the two qr codes correctly placed. Has anyone tried this?

Once this ETF decision comes public, the Stock guys have their sell price veiling and floors. With the volatility of BTC, these BTC sell orders within the BTC online exchanges will all be wanting to be executed at once. Can the small upcoming BTC exchanges handle that volume when that happens, Or will thousands of stock speculators find that their holdings in online BTC are up in limbo. .It seems that exchanges cant cash cover the sell orders, possibly even other smaller online exchanges. http://www.coindesk.com/coinbase-just-stopped-serving-bitcoin-hawaii/

Today BTC and the local fiat markets are "separate" but viable entities in currency exchange. . . There are two co-existing entities . Global and Local, . When when a localized currency system Such as fiat. Goes into distress. In theory, . With the current BTC system, The local individuals within a localized community can then jump up to the Global decentralized trade currency BTC in order to help protect their failing assets. They freely make their jump to a Global decentralized system, And can then work on economic repairs at home.
. . And in theory, If this currency rescue system reversed and the global BTC Began to collapse, It would at first seem that ones economy on a local level would become at par with BTC then BTC would begin to fall below par. At which time the collapsing global BTC community in that local region would then begin selling the failing BTC and fall back to a local fiat. (Some would not make it without hardship of course). I firmly believe This Global Local system may be a valuable tool in the future to try and save small distressed local communities like our Greece and Venezuela in the world today. Now as an added example, lets say If a local community ever successfully "pegged their gold to fiat" after a bad previous local collapse and they afterwards created a good working local fiat system (or any other type currency system) in their localized community, those citizens therein would then by human nature begin slowly selling their global BTC and then jump the Global Local air gap and sift yjrit assets back down to the local community system, . This two “separate currency system” is then a rescue device that works both ways. If the two markets are free "separate entities without ties that bind, I believe this total separation between the two systems is necessary for the system to work.
In th e future, .I see banks as being banks currently within separate local communities and online exchanges, as “online” exchanges, within the global community only,
I would hope that those within the financial system would keep all the localized community markets and local finance systems completely off the global BTC currency grid, the only way to jump the gap from local currency to Global decentralized BTC, should be jumped through an online exchange or personal one on one private exchange. . Yes I'm getting to the danger of the ETF proposal
Once you start tying these two separate systems together (Local and decentralized Global). where online finance becomes stock broker/online global currency exchange, or BTC/ETF , and all the other areas with regulations and rules that bind these two markets together. You defeat the rescue mechanism. Because, . . if they are all tied together and the global BTC system collapses, . you now have a problem at the local level of rescue. The Global takes the local down with it. And you have a world wide collapse of both systems when the gloal fails.. Any and all financial ties binding and blending the two currencies together defeats the backup rescue systems both provide.
Besides all this, Now to the proposed ETF. .If a localized market (such as the US stock exchange) badly wants to invest in the BTC phenomena, there are other air gapped means already in place for them to do so. Such as, . . If in the future a global BTC becomes widespread and stable. It will grow immensely in size, This growth will create hardware needs for mining and processing, . Those in the US stock market can already easlily invest in any digital BTC hardware companies. Anyone up for a (IBM,Cisco,Samsung) BTC future speculative legal ETF?
In my opinion, Tying together any local markets to this decentralized global system would create a scenario of the possibility of collapse in local markets subject to the global arena. In my opinion, Its not worth the risk it to do it,. .And once started, It begins a slippery slope in which more and more you eliminate the separation and hence the ability for system rescue at the cost of the individuals and their assets, . please dont approve this BTC/ETF
disclaimer, . I do not own stock in any afore mentioned companies, . . . . . yet , but maybe tomorrow if the system looks healthy

I was wondering who could transfer $10 From an existing USD bank account into a BTC cold wallet QR code format then immediately change it back from that BTC to USD and back into the USD bank account. Who could keep the most of their $10 at the end of the cycle once its back into your bank account. (Note this would have to be a quick exchange transaction completed in to avoid excess market fluctuations from grossly effecting the outcome, or it needs to be recorded and adjusted for the market fluctuation), .
So what is the most effective means of transfer to and from USD/BTC/USD and i was wondering who on this forum can save the most USD through this transfer process of $10. . a contest challenge perhaps. . . Any takers?
This has real world implications. so yes I would like to know.

Just Curious, Lets say I have a paper wallet with .05 BTC on it and want to lose as little of the funds as possible transferring it over into my usd bank account, Currently I have to transfer the paper wallet to mycelium then to coinbase (coinbase wont import paper wallets, .then have coinbase convert my BTC to usd and put it in my bank account. however using these transfers eats into my original BTC/USD amount and imo takes way too much of my money, . . what is the most economical way of transferring BTC to USD and into my bank account to help cut losses

So walked into a place that had a BTC ATM and it was situated in a building that had security cameras all around the place, I then walk up and make a $ large purchase of BTC and maybe run it through my online phone to transfer it to a cold wallet, . Im just wondering at this point, (If I am to accept that I am a person to believe in a guv/corporate total conspiracy), . just how anonymous was that transaction? Just how free from record recording is a BTC ATM, if in a world of facial recog, that ATM is surrounded by outside security cameras or if the finalization of the transaction is sent over my online phone at the time of ATM use?, . so I must ask myself, why do people call this a perfectly anonymous untraceable transfer?, . when it seems from my paranoid standpoint to be just the opposite?, . It could have been well recorded

I am very new to this whole blockchain thing, so correct me if i am wrong, . . but someone claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto could prove it by announcing a specific data transfer from the Satoshi Nakamoto account , (say 768.00987 BTC) and then after announcing such a claim, transfer that exact amount a few days later, . .the data transaction could be monitored for proof of ownership of that account at least. .

I have successfully bought $5 worth of bitcoin with a debit card using a coinbase account, then used an old offline phone to generate a bitaddress with public and private keys, transferred the money from coinbase to the cold wallet account on the before said cold phone with all wifi, bluetooth, mobile data transfer etc disabled, saved all public and private key data to an sd card., then used the cold offline phone wallet to check balance of funds in previously created bitcoin account online using qr code from screen, . . and then transfered cold wallet funds back online to my Mycelium wallet, . . . Very easy to do once I figured it out.
Why? . . I am seeing various advantages to this over a paper wallet. one is security. . suppose I have funds on a paper wallet in my house, or I am using it to go to a coffee shop to make a transaction, . . suppose my house is robbed (yes I can keep paper wallets in a safe deposit box) , so suppose on the way to make a transaction at a coffee shop that my paper gets lost, (I stupidly drop it or my wallet gets pick pocketed) , or my house gets robbed. . with a paper wallet. . who ever finds the paper can immediately transfer funds, . so once i get to the coffee shop and realize i have lost the paper, by the time i go back home and get the backup info, the funds have had plenty of time to be transferred. . where as if i lost my cold phone wallet, the theif or luck person finding it must first unlock my phone with the screen unlock pattern, then passwords, encryption, etc, . giving me plenty of time to go back and get my backup and transfer those funds away myself first, . I also can backup all my info using a usb cord to an offline computer or sd card and also print paper copies myself, . then store those backups in a safe deposit box.
How I did it. . . I used my wifes old samsung sch1200 that was laying around the house. (she loved that phone) . It is in excellent working condition and the battery holds an excellent charge,. especially since it is no longer transmitting data, . this phone also has an external sd card slot
1. I did a factory reset on it to restore it to original condition and to remove all previously installed programs
2. Used the wifi to get online from a place i considered secure
3, I had to update google play store and enter a valid google account
4 downloaded apps from the play store. "opera mini web browser", "QRDroid"
5. Using Opera mini I went to bitaddress.org and saved the page for offline use
6. took phone offline by halting wifi and bluetooth and putting it in airplane mode. (if you are still worried you can probably root the device etc.)
7. while offline I opened Opera and opened the bitaddress page i saved offline and generated a bitcoin account with keys, (this was a frustrating part and i learned during the random mouse generation to touch and swipe up)
8. after generating an account I held down on the character string that was generated for the public key and with the option told it to share that to qrDroid, Then told qrDroid to save it. . (did the same for the private key,) I then also copied the character string to a word processor for an additional backup method and record keeping.
9. opened qrDroid and went to the options and opened up history, opened up the public key and choose the show qr option, . using that qr I transferred the funds from coinbase onto the cold wallet account, then used the same qr code online to check the account, . both of these were done with my online phone, . the account balance showed a successful transfer, . .
10. opened up qrdroid and put the cold wallet qr private code on screen, then using my online phone scanned the qr and tranferred those funds to my Mycelium account.
11. backed up my data and put my totally offline cold wallet phone away
just saying after alot of trying different apps it can now be easily done, i can back up data onto paper and sd card and put it in a safe deposit box, i can keep my cold storage at home knowing it has passwords and confidential swipes and or encryption to open, and I can now make a second always blank one to take to the coffee shop for transactions with nothing on it but the current single qr code i want to use.
I am somewhat new at bitcoin so if anyone knows where I am going wrong or finds any issues please let me know, . .also you can donate I hope if i do this right at 1PGaNWs6ccLZF2QMu1WyV235nNetjRZgUw

Im new at this and have only been studying bitcoin for 5 days, . .I already have linux running off usb and harddrive so this fits naturally with the tranfer to an offline cold wallet idea, so my question is, I have all these old verizon and samsung phones lying around, , would it be possible to reburn the internal structure erasing all data and severing all connections thru bluetooth internet, phone etc. . . where it simply becomes an offline wallet that gernerates address keys in the form of qr codes and you can go through your offline password protected wallet, . . gereate a qr and the show it to someone elses phone etc. . . its an airgap for you personal finances that you control, . and could old phones then be recycled into cold storage wallets
