1  Economy / Currency exchange / [CLOSED][H] BTC [W] Interac eTransfer on: August 05, 2017, 05:43:33 PM
I'm looking to exchange 0.125 BTC at market rates according to Preev for an Interac eTransfer.

I'm looking to deal with trusted members only, or members that I've previously traded with. Please don't contact me if you don't have a history of successful trades.
2  Other / Meta / Question about Signature Length Restrictions on: January 22, 2017, 03:40:21 PM
I've searched and searched for an answer to this question (and I'm sure it's been answered before), but haven't been able to find any definite answers. Does anybody have a link to a page with information about signature length restrictions for each membergroup? John K.'s thread says that Member rank and above have unlimited signature lengths, which isn't true (as I'm Legendary rank and have a 4000 character limit).

So, does anyone know the signature length restrictions for different member groups? If so, would you be able to link to a page with this information for reference?
3  Economy / Goods / [CLOSED][H] CarProof Reports [W] $20 CAD on: January 05, 2017, 01:04:17 AM
I have two CarProof reports and one CarProof lien check left in my CarProof account that I won't be using so I figured I'd try to give some users of the forum a sweet deal on these items.

Here's a link to a sample CarProof report. It's a great source of information if you're planning on purchasing a vehicle and want to make sure that you're dealing with an honest seller, and aren't purchasing a nightmare on wheels.

I'm looking for $20 CAD (~0.014 BTC) for a single CarProof report. If you're interested in purchasing a CarProof report as well as a CarProof lien check on a vehicle, I'm looking for $25 CAD (~0.017 BTC). If you purchase a CarProof report from me, I will need the VIN of the vehicle to be looked up, and I will send you a PDF copy of the report.

I think my prices are fair considering a single CarProof report costs about $40 CAD. Plus, when you're planning on purchasing a vehicle, whether it be worth $1,000 or $50,000, $20 CAD is a drop in the bucket (especially with these high bitcoin prices). I welcome escrow, as long as the buyer pays all associated escrow fees and we can both agree on an escrow provider. If escrow isn't used, I request that the funds are sent to me before I order the CarProof report. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to leave a post here or drop me a PM and I'll get back to you.

4  Economy / Currency exchange / [H] 1 BTC [W] Interac E-Transfer on: November 19, 2016, 03:07:45 PM
I'm looking to sell 1 BTC at market prices for an Interac E-Transfer. I'd like to use the market prices at Kraken as the price to base the trade on.

I'm willing to trade with trusted users ONLY. If you don't have a history of successful trades on this forum, please do not send me a message or post in this thread as I will NOT be interested in trading with you.

I'd be alright using an escrow for the trade if you feel it's necessary. However, I ask that the other party pay all associated escrow fees, as I have a history of many successful trades on this forum.

If you're interested in trading with me, send me a PM or leave a post here and we can try to work something out.

5  Economy / Computer hardware / [CLOSED][W] Cheap, old >200W Bitcoin Miner [H] $20 USD on: October 10, 2016, 09:06:01 PM
I've run into some heating issues and the weather is starting to get colder, so I'm looking to purchase an old bitcoin miner that takes a few hundred watts to help warm things up a little and help pay a few cents everyday for the cost of the electricity needed to run it.

Ideally, I'd be looking for an Antminer S1, and would be looking to purchase it for $20 USD or cheaper shipped to Saskatchewan, Canada. Let me know if you have something up to the task and then we can figure out all the specifics. But make it quick, before I freeze to death!

Problem solved, I was able to fix the heating issues!
6  Economy / Services / [CLOSED] Rollin.io Signature Design Competition - 0.5 BTC in Prizes! on: September 03, 2016, 07:25:22 PM

Rollin.io Signature Design Competition -  0.5 BTC in prizes!

Competition Information and Details

Competition Information
The Rollin.io signature campaign is looking to have new signatures designed. The signatures should follow these guidelines:

  • Different signatures for Member, Full Member, Senior and Hero rank members
  • All submitted signatures should include links to Rollin.io, as well as text in the signature making it obvious that the signature is advertising Rollin.io
  • We're going for a minimalistic approach to these signatures, so keep that in mind when designing. We're not looking to jam signature spaces full with walls of text.
  • You may wish to include one or more of the following phrases in your signature designs: Bitcoin Dice Game, Free Bitcoins, Chat Lottery, Chat Games, Social Chatting, Level Up System with Rewards, More than 3 Billion Bets Placed, Online since 2014, 1 BTC weekly giveaway
  • All signatures should include the phrase "Rollin.io" somewhere

The competition will run from September 3rd to September 17th. On September 18th at 00:00 GMT, entries will close, and all submissions will be reviewed by the Rollin.io staff. The winners of the competition will be decided on by the Rollin.io staff, and will be notified by September 23rd at 00:00 GMT. Winners will also be publicly posted in this thread.

Competition Bounties
First Prize - 0.25 BTC
Second Prize - 0.15 BTC
Third Prize - 0.10 BTC

Submission Instructions
When submitting your signature designs, please follow these directions:

  • Only include images of your signature designs. Do not post the BBCode of the signatures. You will only be asked to provide the BBCode of the signature designs if you win the competition. This is to protect both Rollin.io and participants of this competition from accusations of stolen signature designs.
  • Include your Bitcoin address for payment in the case that you win the competition
  • Submissions that don't include unique signatures for Member, Full Member, Senior and Hero rank members won't be considered as valid entries, and won't be judged. You will be notified if you have submitted an invalid entry, and will be able to fix it if you wish before the end of the competition.
  • You're welcome to submit more than one submission. However, if it's obvious that a user is submitting many low-quality signature designs, they will be disqualified from the competition and will be asked to stop posting in the competition thread. Please put some effort into your submissions.

By submitting signature designs to this competition, you acknowledge that if your entry win first, second or third place, you allow Rollin.io to use your signature designs from the entry from the time of the prize money being sent to a bitcoin address specified by you, until the end of time. You also allow Rollin.io to modify any portions of your signatures at any time if your entry wins first, second or third place in this competition.
7  Economy / Currency exchange / [DONE] [H] 3 BTC [W] Interac eTransfer on: June 13, 2016, 03:17:45 AM
I'm looking to sell 3 BTC for an Interac eTransfer. Because of this, I'm looking to sell these coins to a fellow Canadian for CAD. Here are all the details:
  • I'm looking to sell at market rates according to Preev.
  • I will only trade with users who have a good reputation and trade history on this website. I'd prefer to trade with users that I've traded with before.
  • I'd like the eTransfer to be sent up front before any bitcoins are sent. I have a good reputation on this website and have a proven track record that I can be trusted with thousands of dollars.

If you're alright with the above and are looking to buy, please send me a PM. The last point (transfer being sent up front) is negotiable - I'd be fine doing a 50/50 sort of split (50% of the eTransfer is sent to me, I send 50% of the bitcoins, then both parties send the remaining amounts), or alternatively use a trusted escrow we can both agree on. In the case that an escrow is used, I request that the other party pay for any escrow fees. Since this is a larger trade, I'd be happy to prove my identity through a PGP signature or a signed message from any bitcoin address that I've ever posted. Do NOT send funds to an email address that hasn't been signed by me.

Closed for now!
8  Economy / Computer hardware / [CLOSED] Cheap laptop on: May 24, 2016, 02:12:37 AM
I'm looking into purchasing a cheap used laptop and charger (cheap as in <= $130 USD shipped) and was wondering if anybody here has anything up for grabs. I'd be using this laptop mainly for internet browsing and some light programming (Android Studio and Eclipse mainly). I'd prefer a laptop with a higher capacity HDD than a laptop with a lower capacity SSD.

Shipping would be to Canada as well, so let me know what you have either in this thread or via PM! I'm open to using an escrow agreed on by both parties, but I ask that the seller pays all escrow fees, since I'm a fairly trusted member here on the forums and have been trusted with much more than $130 USD. Any other questions can be asked in this thread or through PM.

I've found a laptop - thanks for all the offers!
9  Economy / Currency exchange / [CLOSED][H] 0.35 BTC [W] $200 CAD PayPal or $200 CAD Amazon.ca purchase on: April 24, 2016, 04:30:31 PM
I'm looking to trade my 0.35 BTC for $200 CAD in PayPal funds. I'd be using these funds to purchase an item on Amazon.ca, so alternatively, you could purchase the item from my wish list and I would be willing to pay you in full for the item (I believe it's $200 CAD + taxes).

Trusted members ONLY. If you don't have a proven history of positive PayPal trades, don't bother contacting me; you won't receive a reply back. Preferably, I'd like to trade with somebody I've traded with before.

Deal completed!
10  Economy / Digital goods / [H] 3 Keybase Invites to give away on: April 10, 2016, 03:42:06 PM
I have three Keybase.io invites remaining on my account that I'd like to give away to members of the community.

Requirements:
  • Full member rank or higher
  • Neutral or positive trust on DT level 2

If you're interested in an invite, and meet the requirements above, send me a PM with your email address and I'll send an invite your way. This should be obvious, but please don't ask for an invite if you already have a Keybase account. Thread will be locked when all invites are gone.
11  Economy / Digital goods / [SOLD] Bitcointalk Member Account on: March 25, 2016, 04:43:19 AM
I'm looking to sell off a Bitcointalk account that defaulted on a loan.

Account information:

Rank: Member
Activity: 75-105
Posts: 200-500
Neutral trust (on on default trust)

A signed message can be provided for proof of ownership. Post quality is excellent for the most recent 10-50 posts (this is a range, meaning that there are at least 10 recent excellent quality posts, but less than 51 recent excellent quality posts), but before that, the post quality is quite low.

Let me know if you have any further questions about this account, either through PM or by posting in this thread. I'm looking to get 0.01 BTC for this account.

SOLD!

13  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] 16 GB DDR3 RAM on: January 08, 2016, 10:08:02 PM
I'm starting to run some virtual machines and I've realized that 8GB of RAM just isn't cutting it, so I'm looking to purchase 16GB of DDR3 RAM. Preferably I'd like to purchase either G Skill, Corsair or Kingston RAM, but let me know if you have other brands that you're willing to part with! I'd just rather avoid purchasing no-name RAM.

Shipping would be to Canada and of course I'd like to purchase this RAM with Bitcoin. Since we'd be dealing with bitcoin, I request that you ship the item out first, and then I pay upon receiving the RAM, or we use a trusted escrow we can agree on. In the case of any escrow fees, I ask that the other party pay all fees. I'm a trusted member here, so if you trust me enough to ship first you can avoid potential escrow fees.

I'm looking to spend $65 USD or less for this set of RAM, since $75 USD can buy me a brand new 16GB set of RAM. Let me know what you have and how much you're looking to get for it shipped to Canada!
14  Economy / Computer hardware / [SOLD] Antminer S7 - 4.86 TH/s on: December 12, 2015, 03:39:38 AM
I'm looking to sell a first batch model Bitmain Antminer S7. I'm looking to get 4.25 BTC plus shipping for the unit. This price is negotiable, but please don't lowball. The unit will be shipped out of Saskatchewan, Canada through Canada Post. I'm willing to ship to the USA, but won't ship outside of Canada or the USA. I think this is a fair price, considering that a new Antminer S7 costs ~ 4.5 BTC from Bitmain (not including shipping), however a new unit would only offer ~ 4.7 TH/s and shipping would begin at the earliest on December 18th. My unit ships out within 24 hours of purchase and shipping speed can be decided by the buyer. I'm also open to escrow from a reputable user, but I request the buyer cover all escrow costs because I'm a trusted member on these forums.

Only issues I've had with this miner were caused by a faulty power supply. After replacing it with a fully functional power supply this unit hashes away at about 4.84 TH/s @ 600MHz with very low HW error rates (< 0.01%).

15  Other / Off-topic / guitarplinker's Public Ignore List / Sig Spammer Shamelist on: November 16, 2015, 10:15:16 PM
Due to recent popular demand sig spamming around here I've decided to open up a thread with all the users I find that are spamming the forums. Sounds like the staff here are banning users on public lists like these, so if we can cut down on sig campaign spam I'm all for it.

Without further ado, here's the current list:

Hi all, I'm looking to purchase a copy of Mario Party 8 for ~ $25 USD shipped to Canada.

Let me know if you have a copy you're willing to part with and your price shipped to me in Saskatchewan, Canada. I'm open to escrow, but if you feel that escrow is necessary I request that you pay all escrow fees. If you'd rather not use an escrow, I request that you send the game to me, and then I pay you on arrival and confirmation that the game is in good shape and works.

If you have any questions or have a copy to sell, either shoot me a PM or post below and I'll get back to you.

17  Economy / Currency exchange / [H] 0.45 BTC [W] $150 CAD PayPal on: October 03, 2015, 01:53:49 PM
Looking to sell some of my bitcoin for PayPal at market price. I'm only willing to deal with trusted members, preferably someone I've traded with before. If you don't have a decent reputation here, then please don't contact me.

I request that the PayPal funds are sent first, or if you aren't comfortable with that, then we can use a trusted escrow we both agree on, however I won't be paying any of the fees associated with that.

Send me a PM or post here if you're interested!
18  Economy / Computer hardware / Dying 500GB HDD - free, just pay shipping on: September 13, 2015, 11:58:15 PM
I'm looking to sell get rid of an old 500GB Seagate hard drive I have that appears to have some issues.

Here is the drive status according to HD Tune: https://i.imgur.com/CeHaX75.png The drive seems to click like mad when the "Quick Error Scan" in HD Tune is run, so I'm not quite sure what's going on.

Ideally, I'd like to just get this drive out of my house. I found it sitting in a computer, not hooked up and when I hooked it up I found out why I hadn't hooked it up in the first place. I have no use for the drive and don't think I will in the foreseeable future.

If someone wants this let me know and I can send it over to you for the cost of shipping the drive, plus maybe a small tip if you're feeling generous. I suspect that shipping will cost ~ $12 CDN if shipped within Canada, and about $11 CDN (~$8.50 USD) to ship it to the US, without tracking. (I have no idea why it costs less to ship this package out of country compared to within the country)

So if you're interested, send me a PM with your postal or ZIP code and I can get you an exact amount for shipping and we'll take it from there.
19  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] LEPA 1600W PSU, or any quality 1300W+ PSU on: September 01, 2015, 01:09:46 AM
I'm looking to purchase a LEPA 1600W PSU, or any other decent quality PSU that's capable of outputting 1300W or more. The PSU would be shipped to Canada, and my budget is $200 USD shipped. I remember seeing LEPA 1600W units sell for ~ $150 a few months ago, and ideally if someone was willing to part for a LEPA 1600W unit around that price it would be perfect. Or, if you have a server PSU set up for mining capable of over 1300W I'd probably be interested in that as well. I'm happy using a trusted escrow, but if for whatever reason you don't want to, I request that you send the unit up front, and I'll send the payment after verifying everything works as should. Let me know if you have a PSU you're willing to part with for around that price!
20  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] Raspberry Pi 2 + Case on: August 30, 2015, 11:33:56 PM
I'm looking to purchase a Raspberry Pi 2 and case. My budget is $40 USD shipped to Canada. Let me know if you have a Pi 2 and case you're interested to sell and we'll take it from there. I'd like to pay via bitcoin, and request that the seller either send the items up front, and then I pay upon receiving, or we use a trusted escrow instead. If you have any questions either post here or PM me, and I'll get back to you. I'd be willing to pay a little extra if an SD card is included as well.
