Hello dear crypto friends,

It has been a couple years since I last posted on this forum and I am sorry for that to begin with. Recently I started to become very active in the crypto space again and there is this one thing I just don't get, which should probably be very easy: getting HBAR (Hedera Hash) from Kucoin to MyHbarWallet. As we have seen the whole debacle unfold with Luna and Celsius, I am a believer of self-custody. I am now and have been ever since I bought my first crypto many years ago. Anyway, long story short: I have a MyHbarWallet, I have HashPack, I have Hedera on my ledger, but for some reason when I type in either the public key OR 0.0.0xxxxxx account ID as withdrawal address at Kucoin it says: adress format invalid. The only thing I can think of that I possibly did wrong or didnt do yet, is activate my MyHbarWallet. Now the thing is, how can I activate it without funds in it when I cannot send funds to it to activate it? It seems really weird and I have been trying to get this work for quite some time now. I would highly appreciate it if someone maybe knows what I did wrong or what I should do in order to move my HBAR from Kucoin straight into MyHbarWallet via my Ledger so that I am in control over my coins rather than Kucoin. It is not that I don't trust Kucoin I just like to be in control of my own coins, especially as we aren't talking a few pennies. Anyway, that was it. Will start lurking around now a bit and see all the new cool stuff y'all discussing

After a lot of forums, youtube vids and tomshardware I have managed to fix 5 gpus that weren't working well before, just one left! I even managed to make a dual rig amd+nividia. Anyway, let's get to the case:

The problem is with a 1070. If I put it directly in the 16 lane slot in motherboard, it works. If I place it on a riser (for temperature control) in the rig, it wont work and my PC won't boot. I am sure I am doing something wrong. I have 7th generation risers with the 6 pin to SATA and the 1070 needs 2x6 pin to 8 pin to psu. I tried the following:

both 2x6+2 (the +2 not needed) to the psu, 6 pin to sata from riser to a fresh sata cable with space for 3 more sata connections but I use only this sata slot (as per Angry Chickens video never more than 2 on same SATA line. Question I have here is is my card getting to much power and that's why psu prevents booting (75 per input, makes for 225 total and only 150 needed)?

Questions: 

1. Would it work if I leave the 2x6 pin in (gpu to psu) and then just unplug the sata as a whole as riser/card get's enough power anyway?
2. I really don't want to do this but if it's only exception.... can I use 2 6 pin to molex and then a fresh 3-4 slot molex cable from psu to riser/gpu?

Hi all,

As the life of a miner goes, I ran into 2 new problems today whilst trying setting up my rigs. The first one is a working 5x1050ti rig. Today I wanted to add a 6th 1050ti, however from a different brand as the other 5 because it was the only one available. I plugged it in PCI-E, driver, everything, yet Windows 10 only sees the 5 already existing 1050ti's. Is this fixable or should I return it and wait for a 6th one similar to the other 5?

Second problem.

My second rig which is going to be 6x1070 didn't work with Silverstone 1200w PSU. Just 2 1070's with a 650w corsair work perfectly fine. Am I doing something wrong with the PSU or is it faulty? (Just a week old, never used it, just bought). All the fans were spinning, cpu, gpu, system won't boot, PSU not spinning. I tried the paperclip test and it DID spin.

Please assist if you know how I can make use of 4x1070 and 1x1050ti that are now useless in my mining room:)

For personal reasons I wish to mine Siacoin. Preferably just Siacoin instead of dual eth+sc if this provides a lot more Siacoin (or is this like, insanely stupid?) I have downloaden Marlin and everything outlined on Siamining dot com yet when I start the miner it shuts off in a few miliseconds. Obviously I am doing something wrong. Can anyone tell me how to get Siacoin only miner working or if eth+sc is better, how to setup that? Nicehash payments are very low nowadays.

As topic says my mobo only sees 5 gpu's what I am doing wrong?

Windows has stopped this device because it reported problems. Okay, how to activate again? Updated all drivers, doesnt work, google no answer...

Hello all, today I upgraded one of my 1050ti cards to a 1070. I installed all required drivers and plugged it in correctly, yet nicehash doesnt see it, what to do?

Hi Guys,

Recently my mining rig wouldn't boot and now it's working again (didn;t use enough thermal paste to cool CPU). Although My hashrate is only 10% of what it used to be. Do I need to update latest drivers or OC better (now on stock settings)? I am using 382.05 driver and ccminer skunk 2.2

For my next rig I want to do 1080ti's. Is a single 4GB of RAM enough or do you guys say, better safe than sorry, go for 8GB atleast?

The day before yesterday I wanted to send BTC from Uquid balance to my Uquid atm card, didn't work. Later on the website I see an alert: All card functions not available, should be working in few hours, sorry for invoncenience.'' Okay fun, its now 2 days and a few hours later, nothing on Twitter, no updates, no nothing. These few hours are now few days without any communication from Uquid... Anyone else experiencing problems with them at the moment?

Hello all, it says on various websites I should be getting 11-13 mh/s on SIGT with 1050ti's, yet I only get 6500 kh/s on each atm, it was fine before. What could be wrong? I am using supernova miner.

What do I possibly do wrong if my rig shuts down or freezes every 1-2 hours? PSU is 850w gold+ and draw is 300 from wall, only using 4gb ram, virtual memory set? or What is the cause of this?

I just started mining. Day 1 was Nicehash, it was crap. Now on to signatum, man this is like double to triple the daily profits on nicehash. What do you guys think: is signatum something to mine for like 2-3 months and stack 'm up? Or should i switch to other coins?

I am new to mining and maybe started at the wrong moment. At the time (2 month ago) I cashed out some crypto profits to also start mining as I saw it as a way of diversifying my portfolio at the time. It might have been a bad move, but hey, atleast I have a couple GPU now. As I read a lot on the forums here I decided to start with Nicehash and then when I know a bit more about mining, start using individual mining softwares to mine specific coins. Everything is working on Windows 10 with a 5 GPU rig. The only problem now is that nicehash only detects 3 out of 5 miners or better said: it sees 5 GPU but only uses 3 to mine. How can I make Nicehash use all 5 instead of just 3?

Frankrijk kosten: 19 Eurocent/kwh
Thailand kosten: 3 Eurocent/kwh

echter: Thailand = heel warm = meer fans = underclocking en alsnog hitte problemen.

Wat is wijsheid? Minen in Noord Thailand (net onder de provincie waar alle Chineze grote jongens zitten) of in het oude vertrouwde Frankrijk, dichter bij huis, duurder maar koeler?
