2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Whitecoin (XWC) about to pump again? on: September 27, 2017, 07:57:08 PM
Coin was pumped up big time on the 20th and dumped shortly thereafter.

Not much happened since but seeing some buildup of volume last couple days.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Which alt would you keep? on: August 25, 2017, 05:19:17 PM
Ok so I've heavily invested in a few alts recently, STRAT, OMG, WAVES and FLORIN. But sadly, I need to sell most of my crypto assets (even BTC) soon and I've decided to hold onto 1 alt long term (in addition to BTC). Which one would you hold?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Which alts are most stable right now? on: August 22, 2017, 11:44:39 PM
Ok so I'm in a situation right now where I may need to sell some of my bitcoins at any time. But because of its volatility, I'd rather sell the bitcoins right now ahead of time for alts, then sell the alts when I need fiat. So my question is very simple. Which alts are most stable? I will be holding the alts for about a few weeks to a month and just basically need a safe non-volatile coin that I don't have to worry about tanking 10% in value overnight or something.
5  Bitcoin / Electrum / Claiming Bitcoin Cash with Electrum Wallet on: August 01, 2017, 08:24:06 PM
Ok, so I am going to attempt this today and will go through it step by step in this thread. Hopefully more knowledgeable people than myself can help me do this.

So as I understand it, I need to first move my bitcoins from my electrum wallet (EW#1) into another electrum wallet (EW#2). Then I have to find a bitcoin cash compatible wallet and import my private keys from EW#1.

Also, once I have the bitcoin cash, what is the best way to trade it for BTC? Should I just use an exchange and can someone make a suggestion on which exchange is best for an American to use?

And going back to the bitcoin cash compatible wallet, can anyone make a suggestion on which one to use for that? Electron cash seems like the logical option but the other thread says there are some shady activities associated with it, especially if using the binaries, so I will avoid this option. I was thinking about using btc.com as the wallet to claim the BCC. Can anyone comment on whether this is a good choice or not?

Finally, is it safe to transfer my coins from EW#1 to EW#2 now? Asking this in regards to whether the "dust has settled" after the hard fork.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Solitaire on: March 13, 2017, 09:18:24 PM
Anyone know where I can play solitaire for bitcoins?

bitsolitaire.com and coinxerox.com both seem to be gone. Any btc casinos offer this great game? Smiley
