23  Economy / Scam Accusations / scammed by foxy282 on: May 28, 2017, 05:02:16 AM
What happened:

I wanted to exchange neteller to btc.
User    foxy282 contacted me to do the transaction with middleman in skype

I end up by exchanging from skrill to btc.
Another person join in the conversation to act as escrow and was saying he was user monbux (I believe this was a trick and it was not this forum user in fact but someone else)

escrow told me:

foxy282 send bitcoins to him
I was paying  him skrill
escrow was gonna provide me bitcoins

25  Economy / Gambling discussion / sub-boards for sports betting / poker / casino on: May 21, 2017, 08:46:51 AM
I mainly bet on sports betting.

With so many websites around it is hard for me to really identify which ones offer sports betting.
I am not interested in poker nor casino games.

I understand that there is people interested in those but I believe it would be useful to have the Gambling section with sub-boards for sites promoting sports betting / poker / casino

This way I would not have to go through each of the thousand threads around.

26  Economy / Scam Accusations / [closed] [Resolved] Scam accusation user cruguy on: April 23, 2017, 12:48:03 PM
What happened: I wanted to do my first purchase of bitcoins. I contacted this user to know if we could do a deal. I would transfer 12 Eur from Skrill to him and he would send me the respective amount of bitcoins.

We were in contact via skype and after sending him proof of payment I agreed to wait until next day as mentioned on his thread here.
This was done last Thursday.

Today, Sunday, and after several messages exchanged no money has been received, either the return of my skrill funds or bitcoins.
I provided him with 3 bitcoin addresses, no transaction is found, confirmed or unconfirmed

sorry if really stupid

I have opened some accounts with different wallets.
Now I wanted to do my first purchase but I wanted to do it with another user, not having to go through all the paperwork required by the exchanges for example.

I contacted one user which was offering his exchange service.

I did not use an escrow (still not familiar with how to use this)

Amount is small but anyway:

- if he has already instructed the transfer of bitcoin to me, even if it has to go through verifications, is this transaction "unconfirmed" ?
- using my bitcoin address (I do not have his) I should be able to see that pending transaction ?
- if that is the case, then we should be able to cancel the deal and he could revert back the funds I've sent him (minus the fees required for that transfer).

Am I correct on the above ?
thanks
28  Economy / Currency exchange / [CLOSED] looking for paysafecard exchange to bitcoin on: April 19, 2017, 10:32:55 PM
Hi

Have funds in paysafecard which I would like to exchange to bitcoin, about 60 EUR

does anyone knows some service that could exchange this?
Not sure if the vouchers are not limited to the country where they were issued.

if funds are held via a paysafecard account can I also send the funds?
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / transfers between wallets on: March 19, 2017, 07:34:22 PM
Hi

New here.
Been reading about bitcoin but still undecided on my first wallet.

I am prefering start with one for laptop/desktop but then I have some questions:

1-can I transfer funds from a desktop wallet into a web based or android one?

2-Can I do it without being connected to the internet?

3-Even if both are under my name, I suppose I would get charged on transfer fees, rigth?

4-what exchanges are the most reliable and do not require a lot of paperwork for KYC?
(the more decentralized the better)
30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Sport betting exchanges on: March 19, 2017, 02:03:37 PM
Hi

I'm new here and I want to know if there is any sports betting exchange which accepts cryptocurrencies for deposit/withdrawals?

I prefer exchanges rather to bookmakers since one is betting against other users instead of the house
