1  Economy / Scam Accusations / TenUP and Waqar Zaka is a Scam. on: September 14, 2021, 05:28:57 PM
People from Pakistan would know him "Waqar Zaka" having the bitcointalk account : @doorphone and already launched a coin named Tenup with the thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5082699.msg48573595#msg48573595

1. His coin got listed on OKEX so to gain more rewards of his referral link, he promoted his referral link and created rumors that Binance is going to get banned in Pakistan, trying to divert more and more crypto community towards OKEX where his token is launched and that even using his referral link. Making him more and more profits..

link : https://binance.org.uk/binance-banned-fake-guru-waqar-zaka-on-blackmailing-to-list-scam-token-tenup/

2. As soon as the people started to move towards that exchange, he and his team dumpled all their wallets...

3. He has been stealing content of the other people and then posting it in his paid group(1500Rs per month per user) and making money of other peoples research.

https://twitter.com/walshwealthwwg/status/1426945651582013441

4. He is claiming to be hired by Pak govt as crypto expert. While govt officially denied it.

https://twitter.com/KPGovernment/status/1394288075468115971

5. Alot of people got scammed in the project Ouicoin which later proved to be a scam and Waqar Zaka made a lot of people join that coin and loose money.

2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Crypto P2P Scam on: September 01, 2021, 04:41:44 PM
I read a story, on this very forum, of a Pakistani Guy, who was picked up by authorities for trading in crypto. I also had gone through such a time where i almost landed in trouble. So let me share my story so that you guys can avoid such mistakes.

Note: Pakistan, don't allows banks to do crypto related transactions, so its P2P.

It was around August 2020, i posted buying/selling ads on a few trading exchanges. And in that i also posted my contact Number(mistake 1). A person(probably Nigerian) contacted me from an international number using watsapp on my cell and asked me that he wanted to trade with me and that he has some kind of business, and that his team would send me payments and i would have to pay him in bitcoin/ethereum against that payments.
I without much investigation, agreed to work with him, as i was just considering my commissions. As it was decided 10%, which is quiet good for me so i didn't wanted to investigate his line of work.

People used to submit money in my account, and then sent him the receipts, he then watsapp me those receipts and i believing that as he has the receipt, that guy who has sent money actually works with him. So it was good for me.

Soon, i start getting payments in PKR rupees from all over Pakistan, and i kept sending bitcoin to this guy. But i got suspicious and started to worry as i wasn't much aware of his busines but kept doing it for around 2 weeks.

But will all this, i discussed it with my brother, and he told me to stop doing this Bitcoin stuff as he is not much aware of it and also not interested.

Anyway, i told this guy that i dont want to work, and i asked him about his business and some other details.. Things starting heating up between us.
The next day, i got a call from a person, and he said that he is going to FIA as he sent money in my account(which he had) and that my other partner who had a deal to send IPHONES to him against the payment(that he sent in my account) is now not receiving his calls and not responding. He said that me and that guy are a scam and we both have done fraud and that he is going to take me to courts. I talked to Nigerian guy and asked him to send me the Bitcoin back so that i can refund that guy and avoid going behind the bars but he replied that its ur and his matter. Do whatever you want..

What actually happened was, This Nigerian guy, was doing online scams, making people believe that he'll send cheap products. So people when talked to him, he gave them the banking accounts of their local countries, of people like me. through which, he got the payments and never sent any thing to the people he promised. And it was between me and the people who sent payments to my accounts to deal with each other.

The victims were,
1. the people who by greed believed in him as the products he showcased were pretty cheap. And
2. Crypto traders like me, who by greed and better trading profits, didn't investigated much. and started paying him for the money received from third person.

Suggestion: Don't do trade for 3rd person. Only send bitcoin to the person who send you payment in your account.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Future vs Spot Trading on: August 24, 2021, 06:09:10 PM
What is better and which one would you guys prefer. I have been doing spot trading but i haven't made much money, so i was kind of making up my mind to jump in future trading but a lot of my friends are asking me not to as they think that i can loose big. So what you experienced traders prefer?

Hi Friends..

Yesterday, i got hacked on ,21st of May 2021, and is looking for anyone who can do something to get my funds back..

I actually installed a software, which started to blimp as a virus by my antivirus so i uninstalled it and after some time went to sleep.

So what happened is that, whoever got access to my computer through somekind of trojan, moved my HEX tokens worth 320usd and also my AWC tokens 723 which worth about 1100 usd. Details as under

1. HEX Tokens
my Ether wallet : 0x543ea9e8bbe1a2bbf0dceefd6783abf708789dde

Tokens moved : 723 AWC
Worth : 723 x 1.46 = 1055 USD

There was a software by the name of Adobe acrobat reader of 13.2 GB, which somehow got installed automatically yesterday and i think it was this software which was not really acrobat as acrobat reader is not of 13.2 GB and also i never installed acrobat yesterday..

I haved checked his wallet address on etherscan and it shows that that address of the hacker is draining alot of wallets every second.

I don't know what to do, but thought that someone here may just b able to take out this hacker... Also i would like to know if there is anything i can do to secure my ether wallet as i cant change the keys on ethere and also the AWC wallet secure keys cant b changed..

(I was unable to find the right thread for this post.)
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Google Quantum Computer on: October 23, 2019, 09:56:14 PM
Hi, Friends.

Recently there was a news that a google's quantum computing breakthrough has enabled one of its machines to carry out tasks that would take a supercomputer 10,000 years to execute. I heard somewhere that the recent bear market has something to do with this news also.

So i want to know how much damage this news can make ? will it make the cryptocurrencies obsolete ? will we ever see a 20k bitcoin price ?

I am very nervous as i have invested all my current savings in the market and since then the market has gone down.
6  Economy / Reputation / KYC for BTC to revert redtrust ? on: July 28, 2019, 09:33:50 PM
Hi,

I am having a negative trust for some reasons and that is why i am looking for ways to get it back to normal.
I mean if a negative trust is because of multiple accounts then isn't it a good idea to get KYC to revert it back to normal ? Just suggesting.
7  Economy / Reputation / Why i got negative Trust ? on: March 12, 2019, 10:01:53 PM

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Got a Job after loosing hope in Bounties on: March 12, 2019, 09:57:33 PM
Hi,

I was a bounty hunter just like many others here. Was hoping that i can earn my living by doing bounty hunting rather then kissing someone's azz 9 to 5. But it looks as if the cryptocurrency world is not ready for us or may be not willing to accept us anymore.
So after sticking to my beliefs that it will grow and good times will come, but the time has come that i have to look for alternates and here i am sitting in an office doing "YES Sir", "No Sir" and hoping that i can have a financial stability to avoid doing job anymore.

Seriously looking for suggestion to gain financial freedom and don't have to do a job anymore.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Any bounty rewards after August 2018 ? on: January 08, 2019, 04:55:50 PM
Hi,

I have been doing alot of bounties but getting no rewarding coins. The coins/token that i have received are all just in the wallet and not on any exchange and alot of my participated bounties have just disappeared. So i was wondering has anyone received any bounty rewards that they have exchanged for bitcoin since August of 2018 ?

The last token that i was able to cash out were in August of 2018, What about the rest of the bounty hunters ?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Time to invest or wait ? on: December 06, 2018, 04:14:50 AM
Hi.

I have been part of this community for a while now. And i never got the chance to make any investments as i was short on money. But recently i got a little money and i wanted to invest but looking at the market as it is going down and down again, i have decided to learn from you guys and take into account the advice of you people.

What should i do.

Invest in right now,
Should wait,
or Should i just put my money in some other industry like Real estate ?

Need your opinion guys. What would you had done in a similar situation at this point of time ?
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Cheating in Bounties/Airdrops on: October 30, 2018, 08:10:22 PM
Hi,

I am a bounty hunter and i have realized that almost all the bounties are being flooded by some morons who use one person's BTC id, other person's fb/twitter, and put their own ERC address.

They may be using some kind of bots to do that.

What i think he/they are doing is that they have made a list of btc address, fb address, twitter address, and telegram and then use them in bounties and airdrops. They have made some kind of automation software that now do it for them and they take up all the spots in the Airdrops, bounties etc.
They just flood them, put their own ERC20 entries in them while using other's address.

With that they don't have to worry because their ERC address can't be traced to their identity as the rest of the info is all fake.

I have found my BTC id used at quiet a few bounties now which i never applied. Same with my twitter and fb address.

I know that a few bounties are now asking for proof of authentication post but not all of them.

With the growing security issues in BTC can't we start Google 2 factor authentication for our profile as it also has been attacked and also what can be the solution to these kind of scammers ?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / BrainWallets ? Are they dead ? Is there any replacement to them ? on: October 28, 2018, 06:51:08 PM
Hi.

I loved the idea of Brainwallets but yes, they have their security issues. But to every issue there has to be a solution instead of just killing that idea. So i was thinking if there is any replacement to it or is it just dead taking the idea with it to the grave.

I would love to learn about it or its replacement, if any.

Thanks.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / After 2018 slump, Will bounties Die now ? on: September 29, 2018, 05:38:08 PM
I haven't joined bounties in 2017 but in 2018. And there is not much in them now.

Alot of bounty hunters saying that this has been the worst year and it was much better in 2017 and the problem is the number of participants has increased big time and because of that there is nothing much left in bounties now.

Is it true ? and if it is then the participants are going to grow even more in the coming years so that means the bounties will drop further. And if this happens then what will be the future of the bounty hunters and with that what will be the future of cryptos ?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Quantum Computing And Cryptocurrencies on: August 16, 2018, 02:38:59 PM
Hi,

I have heard alot that with the Quantum computing, cryptos will become obsolete. I am kind of noob in this and don't know how Quantum leap will effect the cryptos. Would like some one with good knowledge to enlighten me that is it true and if yes then what could be the outcome. Will we be pushed back to the old financial system or something new, more efficient then cryptos will take over and what that could be.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Steemit like platforms that are new ? on: June 28, 2018, 09:33:06 PM
Hello everyone.

I joined steemit and realized that it is one missed opportunity. And is too late for it now. Because now its only feeding the Whales and dolphins and the minnows like me won't survive there. So i after spending around 10 months there and making nothing, i just abandoned it.

But i think its not the end, there will be other projects out there, other NEW projects where i can still try and become an early adopter. So if anyone knows about a project which is kind of steemit and is new, i am very much interested in it. Please let me know if you know any. Thanks.
16  Other / Off-topic / Account almost got hacked on: March 28, 2018, 06:02:10 AM
I almost lost my bitcointalk account as i got hacked. but luckily i found things in time and changed my password.

But i want to know is there something else like two step authentication for the account ?

what happened is that

Somehow, somebody changed the email address in this account.. i received an email on my account which is
"
Dear 5thFear,

Your Bitcoin Forum (bitcointalk.org) password was just changed by IP address 116.0.53.10. If you did not do this, then you should use the forgotten password feature to change your password.

Regards,
The Bitcoin Forum Team.
"

I have changed the email back to original and i have changed my password, but i would like to know if there is 2-step authentication available and that is there anybody else who suffered from this kind of situation ?
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Cryptocurrency for Bitcointalk forum only ? on: February 21, 2018, 09:16:32 AM
I have seen a few forums where you get paid for being active. I know bct don't need any such thing, because its very stable and the cryptoworld is dependent on it and not the other way around,..
BUT
still, i like the idea of getting paid for being part of something ? like steemit etc..
can we have some kind of cryptocurrency here for this forum only Huh
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / The War has started. Crypto vs Giants on: January 31, 2018, 09:16:30 AM
You might have seen the following news

https://www.recode.net/2018/1/30/16950926/facebook-mark-zuckerberg-bans-crypto-advertising-bitcoin-james-altucher

So facebook bans cryto advertisement. is it an effort to destroy crypto currency that they fear can free the humanity from the Govt banking system.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is it fraud ? on: December 19, 2017, 07:23:44 AM
Hi,
Just found a token named OMDB
and they are offering airdrop but in the form they have asked for the Ethereum address and ethereum private key.
Now with the private key, can't they just hack our ethereum wallet ? i mean is there any protection left with us to stop them from taking our money ?
I am still noob in this field and i think i might b missing something here ? or i m right about them being trying to ditch us from our money ?

Thanks
