I am trying to confirm or disconfirm the statement you see here about a crypto named Bytecoin: "Even if you buy on Gate.io, it is impossible to withdraw them. Most likely, the exchange is simply deceiving people by selling them air." unquote
Can anybody from their experience on gate.io confirm the above statement or disconfirm it? Does gate.io not allow some cryptos to be withdrawn, like Bytecoin for example, Thank you.

LATOKEN and CoinW are two exchanges that I have had bad experiences using.
I do not want to get into details, as I do not want the exchange owners or workers to identify me.
I recommend that anyone reading this stay away from these exchanges.
If things change in my experience with these exchanges, I will notify you on this thread.
I have had a lot of experiences on various exchanges so I know how to judge exchanges.
Thanks for your time reading this.
Please, if you have had bad experiences using these exchanges make your post below.

Please do not limit your responses only to Bitcoin.
As crypto crackdown grows stronger the world over, only the most decentralized wallets and exchanges will survive in a state of freedom.
I would like to see a list made of the most decentralized wallets and the most decentralized exchanges that have the best chance of surviving in a state of freedom in the months to come.
I am sure that many will enjoy and benefit from this thread.
Thank you for your responses.

Someone with whom I am in contact, and is not a member here, asked me to ask this question on the forum here and get an answer that will solve it for him:
He generated a new address in his Electrum wallet about 12 hours ago and then went to his Poloniex account and requested a BTC transfer to that address not knowing that Poloniex is now taking up to 24 hours to process withdrawal transactions.
So after he clicks on receive on his Electrum wallet, he sees what is in his wallet, and also a pending transaction is showing. I understand from what he wrote to me that the Electrum wallet gives him a message that the address or payment request ( he made about 12 hours ago ) expires in about 12 hours.
When he investigated withdrawal problems at Poloniex they tell their members not to use expiring addresses as the funds could be lost. But he did not want to create an expiring address with Electrum and he did not know that Poloniex can take up to 24 hours to process withdrawals.
Is this person standing in deep horse crap by being in danger of losing the BTC that may not be sent in time to his expiring electrum BTC address?
Do electrum addresses expire and the BTC sent to them after 24 hours is lost?
What can I tell him so he can act in time and save his BTC if need be?
Thank you.

What crypto is he going to talk about? Let us identify it before the talk. Thanks for all who contribute on this thread. Guys, let us put our heads together and identify the Crypto that Ron Paul is going to be talking about with editor Steve Sjuggerud. The text below was modified by me so I would not commit plagiarism, but if this text is old and is being reused by the advertisers, then the coin that is going to be discussed, may be over a penny or more and may not still be under a penny. But if they updated the text, then the crypto is still under a penny. It all depends on what they did in this regard. To keep the crypto from being searched out and identified, they could be using an old price for the crypto in their advertisement? This crypto could be the Ripple crypto XRP? Or, could it be a different one? Here is a rework of something that was just sent in an advertisement that came by email: On November 20th, 12-term U.S. Congressman Ron Paul, who acquired his first bitcoin some weeks ago, will be chatting about the " NEXT BITCOIN." It's a new crypto that reportedly is trading for less than a penny right now, which one crypto expert predicts will shortly become the "reserve currency" of the blockchain. Supposedly, it could soon disrupt the biggest companies in America... and transform the way we shop, eat, interact online, and more. It also could possibly cause the end of Uber, eBay, PayPal and more. You can listen to this talk by going through the process found on this web page: http://click.exct.stansberryresearch.com/?qs=888d2e9614934e1cb483822bc1a2987222db7fd5438c1200df661099fde13d68e817c92543878f2d82de959e1782f9b0035e845a33e24eaa

Can someone give me ABC instructions about how I extract the private key from the Dash Core Wallet and import it to the Dash Electrum wallet?
If I obtain it from the .dat file, what program do I use to open that file and is the private key easy to find in the .dat file?
In other words, what is the quickest way to eliminate the coins in a DASH core wallet, that is not working, and make them show up in a new Dash electrum wallet?
Thanks

Anyone here subscribing to the new Crypto Income Quarterly put out by the Palm Beach Research Group headed up by Teeka Tiwari? If so, how do you like what they gave you so far? I have not subscribed, but the service gives you alt coins that generate annual incomes between 5% and 25% per year. I am not advertising this service of course, but would like to chat with several people who have signed up already. I am sure everyone could find the same cryptos by researching the Internet to find them. Thank you for your feedback.

Dear Global Protection:
You are Australian, right? If so, please post this using your bitcoin talk username.
I am from the U.S. so I want you to post this because you are Australian and will not get into trouble with I.R.S.
Sincerely, David
P.S. Anyone who reads this message below, I ask you to take this message below to other forums and blogs so it gets posted there also. Thank you.
So here is what David wants me to post here on bitcointalk.org forum:
(David's message quote) "WILL U.S. IRS TAX AUDIT POTENTIAL INCREASE BECAUSE YOU REPORTED BITCOIN AND CRYPTOCURRENICES ON YOUR 1040 TAX FORMS?
If you reported your cryptocurrency and bitcoin gains to the I.R.S. and you got audited, please let others hear about it on bitcointalk.org.
Those who report their bitcoin or crypto currency gains or losses on their tax forms, should be rewarded for doing so and not penalized with an additional tax audit.
Because some think an audit risk will increase if a person reports their bitcoin or crypto gains or losses on their tax returns, a thread should be created on bitcointalk.org forum to let everyone know.
Those who report should not be penalized with an audit. The I.R.S. should spend their time looking for those who do not report instead of examining those who do report their gains to the tax authorities.
I am asking people to report on the thread you create, about if they got audited from the Internal Revenue Service or not after they reported their bitcoin or cryptocurrency income or gains on their 1040 and schedules or forms.
The I.R.S. will be less likely to go after those people who report their bitcoin and crypto currency earnings or gains if they know that people who are being audited by the I.R.S. are announcing that fact to other U.S. citizens who are trying to decide whether to report to the I.R.S. or not.
If we hear that quite a few people who reported their crypto gains or bitcoin gains on their 1040 tax forms and schedules, got audited, then maybe the I.R.S. will see that and stop auditing those who report and pay their bitcoin and cryptocurrency taxes to the United States Treasury.
The I.R.S. needs to find and go after those who do not report and do not pay, instead of auditing the good people who are compliant.
If you reported and did not get audited by the IRS please tell us also." (unquote of David's message)

Hello:
Let's say that three addresses are holding coins in my Electrum wallet.
Each of those addresses have their own private key.
How can I obtain the private key for each of those three addresses?
What are the ABC instructions for obtaining those private keys?
I know all about the seed word phrase and these questions are not about that.
Thank you,
G.P.

I have one or two miners that are no longer profitable and I would like to send them to a hosting company / mining farm somewhere in the world that is very good. They can change the algorithm from the present crypto to another crypto so it can be mined.
Please list here on this thread all the reputable hosting companies /f arms in the world for miners.
Thank you,

Anyone care to list the steps someone should take to prepare for the Bitcoin Cash hard fork using Electrum's Electron wallet? Is this a good wallet for someone to hold their Bitcoin Cash in so that they can prepare for the hard fork? This thread may also give some insight into working with Electron for Bitcoin Cash owners: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3138929.0

I have heard that there will be a fork from Litecoin to Litecoin Cash.
Please tell us if the Electrum LTC wallet will support the fork and how to prepare the wallet for the fork.
Also, can I get the private keys from my electrum LTC wallet? Is that possible? Is that explained somewhere?
Thank you.

Hello:
I have heard about the Litecoin fork, and I wonder which wallets will support the fork so that we can get the free coins that fork off of Litecoin.
Any and all wallets that the readers can tell us will support the fork are welcome to be mentioned on this thread.
Thanks.

Thanks, G.P.

I sent some LTC to an Electrum LTC wallet and the coins are not showing up after one week.
I have the transaction I.D. and also the address the LTC was sent to.
Does anyone know how to look at these two things and find out what went wrong?
Thanks, G.P.

I downloaded the Electrum wallet and the green light in the lower right hand corner was on.
I closed Electrum and after I brought it back up to check the transfer I sent to it, it is taking a long long time to synchronize.
How long does it usually take to synchronize so a person can view their balance?
What happens during the synchronization time period?
Thanks, G.P.
