Interested in so opinions on this.
Just woke up in the uk and found Doge had disappeared off Coinwarz. Then I realised it was way down the list @ $15 profit a day ( I run 8 GPUS @ 5300 k/h). Block reward has halved. Trouble Is I see nothing too consistant like Doge was.
Plenty of coins if the top 5 but they disappear after a few hours and they only seem to be at the top because of a huge difficulty drops, most likely because multipools drove up the difficultly when profitable and left them to reset when not.
Any advice on a decent daily profit Alt for selling in BTC every 24hrs that doesn't have silly difficulty adjusting that the multipools hammer on and off when it suits them? A fixed block reward would be good too due to the rumours of Doge only getting mined via a scrypt when the block rewards are 51% and above. I like the look of KDC or Noblecoin. Smartcoin looks profitable but I believe that gets multipool raped every few days.
Cosmic coin is currently top for me but only because its just had a 62% difficulty drop, so just recovered from being multipool raped a few days ago I guess.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Used "backup Wallet" feature in Litecoin QT. Now PC crashed. is my wallet safe?

Ok this is driving me nuts with worry!
Having issues with a Litecoin rig so as a precaution I used the "backup wallet" feature in litecoin QT. "File tab - Backup Wallet" (top left hand corner).
It asked me to name the .dat file and where to save it, so I called it markyminer.dat and saved it to a usb stick.
Now this PC has messed up by crashing during a system restore and is in a mess. However all the effing googling about litecoin a backup wallet always, and I mean always talks about copying the wallet.dat file in appdata/litecoin.
So does this mean this markyminer.dat file I saved that Litecoin QT created is not a backup of my wallet.dat? Worried now as I have 96 LTC in it!!
Any Litecoin QT experts about because nowhere on google or any litecoin guides is using the inbuilt "backup wallet" feature in Litecoin QT ever mentioned and i'm getting worried now!!
