1  Economy / Service Discussion / Will you recommend me to use bitstamp in 2019? on: March 17, 2019, 09:14:58 PM
Hey all,

This might be stupid question to ask from my side, but I was out of the loop of crypto which means that I haven't followed any news whats so ever. Basically last thing I remember hearing about bitstamp is that they were sold to another company.

I remember they were okay in the past for buying and selling bitcoin as a reputable exchange over the years. Just before I get in any business with them now I want to make sure if it is still a solid exchange for EU countries? Have they had any problems recently and is it worth it to verify my acc there? As I've used only like LBC in the past and want to get verified with exchanges now for better rates ofc.

Thanks in advance guys!

2  Economy / Services / [FOR HIRE] VA - Virtual Assistant on: December 28, 2018, 03:27:17 PM
Hi guys,

I want to offer myself to be your virtual assistant and do any kind of  work you need. If there is something that you need help with, but I don't have the skills - if it is relatively easy to learn no problem I will try to do my best to get the work done.

pay rate is around 3-5$ per hour depending on the kind of work you need to be done. Or we can agree for the price on the amount of work that you require from me to do.

So mainly I can do anything from data entry to making FB ads etc.

If you are interested please reply below or simple PM me here on the forum.

If you have any further questions please ask them.

[EDIT]
I don't have a lot of experience, it is really low.

3  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Can somebody help me understand SPECTRE by daglabs on: February 20, 2018, 04:17:01 PM
I've heard about this way back but only recently started to read more about it.

For those who do n't know what I am talking about check these links: https://www.daglabs.com/ , https://eprint.iacr.org/2016/1159.pdf

Tho one thing is not clear to me. I get it in this protocols miners are like going rouge and simply mine as many blocks as they can and thus creating this graph of blocks. The problem that I see is that it is not neccessery to mine blocks which will contain the same transactions in them. As I see this it is just puting more weight on the network in terms of how large this DAG can actually be. Yes it can scale but then to run a node you will have to have good internet speed and a lot of space on your hard drive with some of these blocks being totaly unnecessary added to the network.

Can somebody shed some light and explain me why is this proposal good or you belive it is bad, why so?

5  Other / Off-topic / [SCAM Alert] [Review] royaldragontraders.com on: June 16, 2017, 02:17:42 PM
I stumbled upon this website on youtube and it's classic ponzi scheme. They call them selfs Royal Dragon Traders.

1. They don't tell who is behind it, couldn't find out.

2. They are talking that they have developed the software for trading and thats how they earn money, I'd like to believe that.

3. They have pyramid scheme refferal system so that they let users lure other people and to invest in it.

4. They offer to DOUBLE your bitcoins within 90days! Wow they are generous! Fast and Easy money, right?

I just wanted to create this post as a warning and if somebody do a search with an search engine they will hopefully find this post and understand. If they have that trading program why do they share it with others? Something smells here.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / ICO and ICO and another ICO on: June 13, 2017, 08:53:22 AM
Okay guys please tell me whats up with this ICOs they are showing from nowhere and getting vast amounts invested in them? Like wtf who will buy that? Every new project has it's own token!

But seriously I just hear new ICO raised XXX next ICO raised more funds and all. In theory why would people even buy them as there is just to much of them and most of them don't even need to create new token to operate, but they do to make  money...

Is this some kind of legit scam/ponzi where they have a big % of "fake investors" just to caught publics eye? Because I don't really understand the people who just invest in them tons and tons of money.... Also these ICOs have enough money to advertise them selfs over the internet and to pull and how to say lure more investors in them.

Tell me your thoughts on this as it's getting ridiculous I mean if it's that easy let everyone create its own ICO and develop something as we will earn more than we could without the ICO....

Or am I missing something here and they are a revolutionary things?
7  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Question about SVP wallets/clients? on: May 19, 2017, 09:40:54 AM
So I have read somewhere that SVP clients are not so good at sending the transaction with a lot of unspent outputs. If I got it right, SVP client, connects to a full nodes to ask for the transaction information so it doesn't need to download the full blockchain like the core does.

Why would it struggle to send large transaction when making the transaction and signing it is all done on users device. Is it hard for a SVP client to broadcast large transactions? If so, what is the reason for this? Huh
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Easiest way to sell bitcoin?? on: April 20, 2017, 04:09:24 PM
Hello,

I am looking for ways to sell my bitcoin with minimal verification. Minimal verification because I don't like taking pictures with my IDs and to show them around the web.

One of the best and most recommended exchange is localbitcoins. Has anybody use them? How would you rate it 1-10?
The thing that scares me is that it seems that they work like an online wallet of some kind and it seems really difficult to use for me as I do not understand it. To be able to contact a person to sell him for cash I need to have bitcoins on their exchange, the problem is that there are not many buyers in my area and that the recent active one was last online like a week ago (he states that he has mobile messages) but I do not know what will happen if I have my bitcoins there and that guy doesn't reply, or even how to use the exchange....

Also I have found this one https://spacebtc.com/ - would any of you recommend them?? They seem to have verification where I only put my name address mobile etc. but without ID which is great for me.

And 3rd exchange I found on https://payeer.com/en/ - they seems like an really easy one to use and they can send the money to my card need only my number and the name of card holder. To be able to send to my card do I need to send them selfie with my ID or not???

And 4th Mycelium trader (but the person is to far away that want to trade bitcoin, he is in another country which doesn't suit me...)..

To many people seem to recommend payeer and localbitcoins.com BUT on other side there are even negative comments. I read that payeer is insecure and that it shouldn't be trusted while for localbitcoins.com I found that they even freeze users accounts and ask for ID verification... I had truble finding reviews for spacebtc....

If there is some other way please tell me, I want to sell my bitcoins safe and easy way. If you have exp with these exchanges that I have listed or if you know other one please write your opinions I will much appreciate them.

Thank you in advance for taking your time to help me  Smiley Smiley Smiley
