1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Minergate only mines at half speed? on: November 20, 2017, 08:53:36 PM
Hey Huys

Just put together a mining rig with 4 radeon rx 580 graphic cards and an asrock h110 Mainboard. Installed all the latest drivers but each of my graphic cards is only mining ether at about 11 mh/s. It should normally mine at 25/30 mh/s per card if I compare it to other people who mine. Am I doing something wrong here? We really tried everything but nothing changes?

Good news!

BIP 91 has now met the required signalling level for the period (80%) and has now locked in.Miners have until this time to upgrade their nodes. Blocks not signalling BIP 141 (bit 1) will be rejected after activation.

Bitcoin to the moon!
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / BitPay Card load payment failure on: June 29, 2017, 09:14:15 AM
Hello guys

Recently I got myself a Bitpay Visa card. Everything seemed to work fine. There wallet works but all the problems start when I try to charge my Bitpay Visa. I always get those annoying messages:

BitPay Card load payment failure
Your recent top-up payment for your BitPay Card failed due to an unexpected error.

We are working to correct this error, and the funds will be applied automatically to your card within 1 business day. Please contact cardservices@bitpay.com if you have any questions in the meantime.

I got a reply back that it takes longer than usual:

Hello,

We wanted to reach out to let you know that we are now actively reviewing your BitPay support request and will follow up with you directly.

We are currently working through an inquiry backlog due to a spike in unconfirmed bitcoin transactions. It may take more than the usual 1-2 business days for follow up.

We may have already answered your question, so please feel free to search our comprehensive library of answers at help.bitpay.com.

Thank you for your patience!

Now all those transaction have more than 6 confirmations. The first one has now already more than 1500 confirmations and I am waiting for it more than a week. Are these guys for real or what? Why are there only problems if I try to cash out? I never had any problems sending BTC to another wallet. I also have the urgent setting on which means I pay the highest miner fee. Are these guys for real?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Lisk releases Lisk Nano 1.0.0 on: June 27, 2017, 05:42:06 PM
Lisk is thrilled to announce the launch of Lisk Nano 1.0.0, marking the first major release for a Lisk product. Lisk Nano 1.0.0 is supported on macOS, Windows 7/8/10 and all distributions of Linux. Lisk Nano offers greater flexibility for the end user to select their desired network or node. This means that public nodes are far more important to the network than they were before. Desktop notifications are also present in this release, making it much easier for users to know when their balance has changed.

A rebranding is scheduled for August and lots of new features + SDK will be released in Q4.

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / The PUMP/DUMP power of Poloniex on: May 23, 2017, 08:13:03 AM
Hello guys

I recently checked the top 30 coins listed on coinmarketcap and I came to a (rather scary) conclusion. Nearly all of them are listed on Poloniex. All of them with staggering growths. Huge amounts of tradings happen on Poloniex. According to coinmarketcap more than 30 percent of Bitcoin traffic goes trough Poloniex. Siacoin 55 percent. Stratis 62 percent. These are numbers we should not be happy about. Whole the idea of blockchain is decentralisation, yet nearly all traffic goes trough one channel -Poloniex-. The great bitcoin Bubble happened because of the downfall of one trading-platform. One of the biggest at the time. I think it would be of great importance that trading not only relies on one or two platforms. Imagine the idea of a Poloniex fall-out. More trading-platforms are a necessity if we like to have a stable and safer bitcoin/altcoin market. What are your thoughts or ideas about this?
