1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / VRporn & Litecoin Partnership not announced on: June 01, 2018, 02:32:40 AM
Not like verge and pornhub creating all that speculation arround their partenership, LiteCoin prefered to act without being so vocal. Reminder that Litecoin creator "Charlie Lee" negotiated partenership with PornHub before Verge.
I surprisely discovered that users can pay for premium membership with litecoin https://vrporn.com/premiumlp/

3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Again, Bitcoin described as a Bubble. on: May 23, 2018, 05:33:08 PM
Still a lot of discussions about the future of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies surrounding in scientific community. Aren't experts yet convainced that bitcoin is a reality?
In an interview for CNBC, Robert Shiller the professor at Yale University expressed his rather negative sentiment towards Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, saying:

Quote
To me it’s another example of faddish human behavior.
Link to the interview: https://www.cnbc.com/2018/05/21/bitcoin-could-be-another-failed-currency-robert-shiller-says.html

Shiller consolidated his opinions on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in a long post from where i prefered to take this note:

Quote
Practically no one, outside of computer science departments, can explain how cryptocurrencies work, and that mystery creates an aura of exclusivity, gives the new money glamour, and fills devotees with revolutionary zeal, […] None of this is new, and, as with past monetary innovations, a seemingly compelling story may not be enough.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Why Bounty programs are limited to ICOs ??? on: May 18, 2018, 12:27:21 AM
Guys hello to all, maybe somewhere that already created such a thread, but I'll try to ask again Smiley Recently, I increasingly see that people get quite ridiculous amounts for participating in the bounty, for example, when compared with what was 5 months old back, the amounts are absolutely ridiculous. Do you think this is a temporary phenomenon? Or is the bounty dying? Thanks to everyone, I really want to hear the opinion of people of the rank of Hero and Legendary.

Bounty will never die as long as there are ICO.
bounty is the best way and cheapest one to have for advertising any ICO.
a project can't afford to have a mainstream advertising all over the world.
bounty will stay as long as cryptocurrency and new token creates.

Hiring a group of individuals to promote a project is grassroots marketing, perhaps the most effective and efficient marketing tool there is. This is especially true when it comes to niche subjects with small and motivated audiences, making cryptocurrency a natural fit for such efforts the same way it’s a fit for politics and fashion. So why not using the same technique to promote for other niches and for other kinds of fundrising (IPO)? Why bounties are limited to ICOs? (Sharing risks) But all investments have a risk side which is also shared. What do you think  Huh

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / BTC: Patterns of Disruptive Technology on: April 02, 2018, 11:57:20 PM
After all the decrease in the last three months, bitcoiners are still in the ground but with a lot bof fearness doubts;
What is the performance parameters of currencies used by mainstream consumers? Low volatility is one. Mainstream consumers generally do not want their savings to experience the wild swings of Bitcoin. As can be seen below, Bitcoin 90-day volatility of 1about 30 to 40 percent low, even though its down trending, is still way higher than USD EUR volatility of 0.6%. Bitcoin as money or currency is not performing on the mainstream parameter of low volatility.
6  Economy / Services / Bounty Campaign Manager on: August 28, 2017, 06:29:17 AM
Hello CryptoWorld,
I see a lot of bounty campaigns managed by trusted high-rank members. But who can really define his ability to manage a campaign? And what profile should he have?
Please share your knowledge about how to manage a campaign and how to define a manager. Is there any tools required for this task and where to find it? And should he be able to design BBC for signatures?

Thank you
