To all XBY holders,

It was brought to our attention that on January 14th, 2019 Cryptopia had suffered a security breach. Police were called in to investigate. I have reached out to the exchange to understand how XTRABYTES™ investors were affected. They have been instructed not to communicate about this matter during the investigation.

To secure our investors coins, we made a decision to freeze the Cryptopia wallets for the time being. This took the majority of a day (January 15th, 2019) to complete.


A brief lesson on exchanges

When you enter an exchange, you are essentially leaving your coins in the exchange wallet at the door. You receive a copy that is used to trade within the exchange. This is all invisible to the user. When you leave the exchange, these copies are traded for the real coins/tokens removing them from the exchange wallet of each respective coin/token.


What does this mean?

Currently we can see who (addresses) brought coins into the exchange. We do not have visibility if they sold these coins within the exchange. This is visible on the exchange order books only.

Example: I bring in 1 Bitcoin to the exchange. I purchase 30,000 XBY. The exchange sees this on their order book but the XBY Block Explorer will have no record of this until I withdraw these purchased coins from the exchange.

At this point, anyone trying to transfer coins from the Cryptopia wallet (potential hacker), will not be able to. Once Cryptopia comes back online, we will unfreeze the wallet. This means everyone will have access to the coins that were in their Cryptopia wallets.


What happens if Cryptopia is down for an extended period of time?

Currently this situation is between Cryptopia and the police to resolve. We are simply protecting their wallets by freezing them. If they are unable to resolve this issue, we will request a third party to review their order book. This is to maintain the privacy of the exchange member. We will then be able to verify claims of holdings and transfer coins from the 2 wallets to the rightful owners.

We applied (January 7/8) to additional exchanges and are currently in a review period. Once we are approved, we will update our home page to reflect the new exchanges as well as making an announcement.

What should I do?

To protect your investment please make sure to do the following:

Transfer your coins to your computer wallet or paper wallet.

Backup your wallet.

I have been following Billionaire Token for quite some time.  The ICO was a success.  All coins were sold.  

In just one month the team has created a working raffle game, complete with a GUI.  Many other projects do not come close to the speed that the XBL team is working.  

When the Raffle is on the mainnet, they are going to aggressively market the game everywhere.  Think about how many people would want a chance to play it.  The other thing, the Raffle has a function that burns coins, reducing the total supply of XBL over time.  

This will give XBL increased value over time, a use case, and with other games being developed, this could possibly get there faster than any of the other more popular gambling or game tokens.  

I have also seen some images of the new website, which should be released in the near future, and Coinexchange.io is next.

Testing this way on the Kovan network allows us to improve our product quality before having it running in a production environment (on the Mainnet).

We will continue testing the Raffle until our new website is finished (about 50-60% done at this moment), Afterwards we will deploy the Raffle (with an improved GUI than what is available now) on the Main Ethereum Network and will list on the cryptocurrency exchange Coinexchange.io .

Total supply of XBL is roughly 3.3 million.  It is trading around 3000-3500 sats on Cryptopia.  The team skipped over the exchanges many coins start with, and paid the DOT and went straight to Cryptopia.  The coin is here for the long haul.  Compare that with Edgless, who posted their ANN on December of 2016, took in a bunch of money, and have only a beta version of BlackJack up on their site.  They are traded on Bittrex, have a total supply of 132 million coins, and is trading at 9600 satoshis at the time of this post.  XBL took in less money, but has worked on their first game and is ready to release it on the ETH mainnet.  It is still on Kovan at this time, but I participated in the testing, and I can tell you, the game is great.  The GUI allows less tech savvy people to have a chance to win.

The lead dev is active quite extensively on the forum and in the Slack, and will answer questions about the future of the project.  Communication is vitally important to investors in any project, and after many ICO's, investors seriously have to scream bloody murder to get the teams attention or get a three sentence update.  In my experience, this is not how the Billionaire Project operates at all.

According to the ANN, it's the world's first super deflationary gambling token with a use case, a decentralized raffle every week where a number of tokens are burned, and people are rewarded for burning their coins.  There is an upcoming Texas Hold-em style poker game, and the currency used is Billionaire Tokens.  Seems like a pretty cool concept to me.

The dev has already burned over 1,000 XBL tokens.  He's transparent in his love of destruction.  All coin activity is accounted for from what I can tell.  

Let me know what you guys think.  How many coins will be left after the ICO?  It's stated that all remaining coins will be burned.  The maximum total supply is only a ittle over 3.000.000
