When did it jump almost 150?

They raise the min payout to 5 LTC. I set my payout to 5 LTC. I'm at 5.30 LTC and still no payout. It's been 3 hours already above 5. Is this pool paying out or not?

The subject says it all. If you need some fractional BTBs to get to a full bar, this is a good opportunity.

I am selling some bitbar "dust". 0.1 BTB to be exact in exchange for 0.125 BTC a reasonable amount of LTC. Please make me a reasonable offer via reply or PM if interested.

I am wondering if I should cash out my pool balance in 0.1 BTB or 0.01 BTB. What are the pros and cons? I know with LTC/BTC many small amounts can cause you to have to pay a surcharge for transactions later. Is this true with BTB as well?

If anyone is interested, PM me. I run Reliable Escrow (also listed in the escrow services Google Docs) by the way, and expect the BTB to be sent to me first. If that is OK, I will give you 20 LTC for it and we can record the transaction details in this thread. If you have Skype we can chat in real time through the entire transaction, just connect with me "Reliable Escrow" on Skype.

Since I am just starting out and have not built up any trust, the first thought that will come to your mind is why trust me? The next thought is what are the fees? So, here is what I am thinking of doing:
1. I am going to limit trades to small amounts. That way, I can build reputation and you won't be risking much trying me out. 2. I am not going to charge commission at the beginning. If you think that I did a good job when the trade is complete, you can tip me. But that is totally up to you. 3. I am going to use an instant messaging system for communication and expect both traders to be on it the entire time of the transaction. That way we can all communicate in real time and the people trading currencies can know in real time what is happening. This will be offered through Skype (username: reliable escrow) which I will keep active and available on Skype at all times. If you and the person you would like to trade with wish to initiate a trade, please contact me via this Skype user name. 4. I will in return for quality service ask that people please leave me reviews on this thread to help me build reputation. 5. Initially, I will only support FTC/LTC/BTC trades, but more coin types will be added going forward. The trade ratios will be worked out by the traders, I will only facilitate escrowing the trade by having both parties send coins to me first and upon receipt from both parties and the needed confirms for validation, I will disseminate the corresponding coins in return to the counterparties. 6. Before any transactions take place, I will repeat the terms to which both parties have agreed and ask for confirmation to make sure that there are no misunderstandings. Once both parties agree, I will consider the deal as sealed and will await coins from both parties. 7. Any transfer fees imposed by the respective coin networks will be the responsibility of the parties trading the coins. I will notify the sending party if such a fee has been imposed by the network as part of sending to the final destination and subtract it from the amount being sent. Since this aspect is completely outside of my control, it will be the trading parties' responsibility. 8. In return for my services, I am going to ask both parties to please leave me a review on this thread to help me facilitate future trades. I also encourage both parties, if they are satisfied to stay linked to me via Skype for any future trades they may need. 9. When sending coins, make sure that you are sending to only the addresses at the bottom of this post, in case anyone tries to impersonate me. If anyone pretending to be me asks you to send to an address not in this post, do not trust them because they are clearly an imposter/scammer. 10. Any additional rules will be added here and all rules are subject to change in order to facilitate a fair and equitable escrow environment.
Escrow addresses (please do not send coins before contacting me first via Skype or PM):
FTC: 6xLa2uszqkWEkAMTWuhm93fMYiWLcTX313 LTC: LVrYfPV7boapeMiBdj4ZJWFACHbxSfR1Re BTC: 1Jwqp3yPwN1xuHARtWNr2JDKZw58Q55hn7
Skype contact name: reliable escrow
To connect to me via Skype:
Select Contacts / Add Contact / Search Skype Directory... Then type reliable escrow in the search box. When found (reliable escrow from Chicago, United States), right click on my contact rectangle and select add to contacts. Then you will be able to IM with me easily.

OK, I've had it with the scammers on here. People who tell you to send coins first and then you never hear from them again. In fact, I just got scammed out of 10 LTC last night by arobinson. So, I've decided I am going to do something about it and start an escrow service.

I sent him 10 LTC and he was supposed to send me 0.35 BTC. He has not done so up to this point. Here is proof that I sent him the 10 LTC: Status: 15 confirmations Date: 5/2/2013 21:35 To: arobinson LNrszN4krgLeoE9aDV83z97zPQSQby5NYJ Debit: -10.00 LTC Net amount: -10.00 LTC Transaction ID: 73bcf8329ac9301edaf04198205d4712b891a51a1244409fac9a9b5199d13136 http://explorer.litecoin.net/tx/73bcf8329ac9301edaf04198205d4712b891a51a1244409fac9a9b5199d13136He is not responding to my e-mails either. I would love to get cash for them, but any other reasonable form of payment will work that does not put me at risk with parting with my LTC and getting scammed. Private message me or reply to this post if you have a way I can trade my LTC for USD without risking losing them. I will accept cash in the mail in small amounts for immediate LTC transfer upon receipt. I haven't been registered on here for long, but here is my e-bay rating if you have doubts about my credibility: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=mgoldshteyn8hzt&ftab=AllFeedbackI have read too many scam horror stories in this forum to trust anyone, short of someone who has very high ratings from previous trades if you are interested in going the other way around (i.e., I send LTC first and then you send me cash or other secure payment).

If I create a "Consolidation" address in my wallet and send all of the small litecoin quantities currently sitting in my wallet to this address, I get the transaction type "Payment to yourself" for 0.00. If I do this, will my entire sum of litecoins be consolidated now and avoid transaction fees going forward?
The other option I considered is creating a new litecoin wallet on another host and then just sending all of my small amounts as a grand sum to that address followed by sending the amount back to my original address in an effort to consolidate the coins.
If all of this won't work as I described, how do I consolidate many small litecoin amounts into a single sum?

Is this a good motherboard for 4 video card litecoin mining? Will an AMD CPU be powerful enough for this task? I know it works for bitcoing, but what about litecoin?

Basically something like litecoin, but with the following two characteristics:
1. GPUs should be no better at it than CPUs and hopefully worse. 2. It has to be absolutely FPGA and ASIC proof.
Litecoin had the right idea, but didn't go far enough. The way to really make this happen is to use something like scrypt, but have it access far more memory than is used by litecoin, by tweaking the scrypt params. That way GPUs will not be able to run a gazillion threads, because at least for the foreseeable future video cards will not have enough memory to support them.
Let me know what you guys think...

As I sit here waiting for my four hours of browsing to enable me to post on the "big boy" forums, I would like to mention that I just bought an awesome bag for my laptop. If you are looking for a bag for a 15.6" laptop and low-weight is of the utmost importance to you, you might want to check this out: http://www.amazon.com/Case-Logic-15-6-Inch-Attache-VNAI-215/product-reviews/B007AB92DI/ref=cm_cr_pr_top_recent?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=0&sortBy=bySubmissionDateDescendingI left a very long review on Amazon regarding this bag which you can read if you follow the above link. It lists all sorts of measurements as well as the pros and cons of the bag. I just wanted to share this info in case anyone is looking for a light bag, because it took me forever to find a good one. It seems that laptop bags these days are all about weighing 3-4 lbs or more and I know many of us like to keep things light. After all, what's the point of having a 3-5 lb laptop, if the bag is going to double its weight? Well, I am not sure which of these two currencies will win out in the end. The levels as of today on 4/17/2013 at 02:45 (GMT) are:
BTC: 65 LTC: 1.80032 LTC/BTC ratio: 0.02777
The only thing staying relatively constant is the LTC/BTC ratio. Like it or not, it seems that the two are intertwined. I have a strong feeling that once the ASICs come out, BTC value will erode while litecoins will either stand still or perhaps go up as miners move out of BTC and move into alternative (bit)currencies. This also implies that the LTC/BTC ratio will increase, but perhaps matter less as bitcoins fall in value.
It would appear that more and more hash based currencies are popping up, but I think it is very unlikely that they will catch on primarily because there is little innovation. This is assuming that something new doesn't come along which pushes GPUs out of the picture. I think it would be very interesting if a currency came out that basically excluded GPUs, FPGAs and ASICs from the picture. Perhaps a variant on scrypt that used more memory than GPUs could muster.
Just my 0.000002 bitcoins worth.
Donations for my thoughts are always welcome:
