1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Datamine (DAM) & Flux (FLUX) on: July 04, 2020, 10:07:39 PM
So I've been with the old BWK gang (RIP) which has been swapped to Datamine. Crazy things going on... it hit 0.40 USD today... and only has a marketcap of ~6.6M. Now combine that with lucrative Flux token creation... Idk i'm starting to feel some FOMO. Anyone else check this token out?
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / [BWK] Bulwark Speculation on: December 10, 2017, 10:57:56 AM
What does everyone think about this new coin? The miners seem to love it lately, and the PoW and PoS with masternodes looks really appealing. Very active on social media, have a great looking website and ONLY a 2.5 million USD marketcap. Is this the next mooner?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Mining Difficulty on: August 18, 2017, 01:25:59 AM
Hey all, I just have a question concerning mining difficulty. I'm currently mining a multi algo coin, and I'm trying to figure out which algorithm is best to mine with. So here's my question, does difficulty scale evenly between algorithms? For instance, I mine about 21.5mh/s on the x17 algo and I mine about 71.5mh/s on the lyra2v2 algo. Now, x17 has a difficulty hovering around 400, while with lyra2v2 it hovers around 1000. Because the ration of difficulty to hash rate is lower with lyra2v2 would I be better off mining lyra2v2? Or is mining more then just hashes and difficulty?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Solo mining (WARNING: NOOB QUESTION) on: July 01, 2017, 03:04:36 PM
So I just started solo mining, and I'm wondering what my screen should look like... I'm used to mining in pools where it says "yes" every so often. I solo mined for quite some time and received no "yes". Am I doing something wrong? Or should I just be patient?

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Yiimp multipool mining on: June 30, 2017, 07:32:58 AM
There's an equihash algo pool over on yiimp, and it mines KMD, ZEN and HUSH. How would I go about mining on that pool? I've only ever mined on single coin pools. For my .bat file (windows user here) would I just include multiple different wallets for each coin?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / New Proof of Space, Proof of Capacity coin? on: June 30, 2017, 12:50:32 AM
Is there any upcoming POS or POC coins? I know Burstcoin exists, and we got Storj and SIA that kind of fall into the POS category, but are there any true POC/S coins on the horizon? I'm mining Burst right now, and it's just frustrating with all the exploits coming up, like pajeet and the blockchain randomly award blocks to people with longer deadlines etc... I was reading about a coin called SpaceMint, but it looks like there hasn't been any news on it in a couple years.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / CC Miner - Mining pools with multiple coins (merged mining?) on: June 17, 2017, 12:37:07 AM
I just started mining altcoins, and I've been using yiimp as my site for mining pools. I noticed that on their list of pools, they have a pool mining Hush and Komodo at the same time. How would I write the .bat file for mining both coins? Do I input both wallets after -u? Just a little stumped.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / ZCL back to 40k sats? X2 easy money opportunity? on: May 22, 2017, 05:47:48 PM
I bought into ZCL shortly after the hardfork that happened, does anyone think that ZCL can make it back to 40k sats? Seems like not much talk about this coin as of late and if it does reach 40k which historically looks very doable, would be an easy x2, could even go x3 in my opinion.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / New to Altcoins (which to buy or am I too late) on: May 07, 2017, 11:40:53 PM
I've seen that many Altcoins have EXPLODED in the last while, Litecoin, Ripple, Stellar Lumen etc... Am I too late to the party? Or is there a coin I should buy still? I'm looking into Stellar and Golem right now, are they good buys?
