I checked and yes you can and also take them out of the plastic wrappers, but I will leave intact regardless. that is why I usually try to get 2, one to keep sealed one to open Good idea indeed...I wish I had the extra room and the extra korn Maybe someday will buy an extra set.

I walk by their auction house every day on my way to work...so one day I dropped by after making an appointment with James.
All I can say is I was greeted very warmly and we discussed crypto coins in general and how the auctions are held.
I cant say anything negative about them, but the only thing I do not like are the starting prices.
I have not placed any Casascius coins for sale nor do I plan to....I cannot stomach the idea of starting a casascius loaded coin at $1 and then be at the mercy of the markets.
If there was a reserve in place I would feel much better. But then thats my two satoshis on the the subject, other might not worry about that at all.
I say to each his own, but other than that he was great and responded to my emails promptly as well.
I was planning on grading one of my coins and giving it a try, but PCGS did not grade my coin and they are the only company that I know of that had
jumbo encapsulation services big enough for my coins.
What's the diameter of your coin? I know NGC has some big cases, but not sure they are accepting crypto coins. Hi thanks for inquiring....they are 2.75 inch diameter coins.....PCGS was the only one I came across that had that size encapsulation and also doing crypto...but it turns out they were not doing my crypto for whatever reason I hope someday others might be able to do them as Stacks only accepts encapsulated coins for auction

Cards arrived and I just do not have the heart to open the package up...so going to leave closed for my collection. But from what I can see from the card in the back on the photo, it looks pretty interesting and agree with what it says! I can only imagine what the rest of the back hodls inside! "" Avoid all shitcoins at all costs! " Good job mate!

Portugal sell a crypto stamp since yesterday. But there is no technical data available as of today. Hope to get back with fresh news soon
_______________________________________________________________________________ Well, not that easy but some fresh info. U can buy the NFT at stampsdaq.com For the physical stamp, directly frm the website ctt.pt/femce/sku.jspx?shopCode=LOJV&itemCode=20230210199&request_locale=en There is 1 (one) unique NFT, 99 ultra rare, 4900 rare, 35 000 common
I checked this site out. So the stamps are only NFTs and there are no physical counterparts or did I miss that somehow? I would be in for the physicals along with the NFTs but not just the NFT's. Let me know if I am wrong and will give it another shot. Thanks!

Wow, I mean this is really a pretty good fake, but its incredible the lengths that Casascius went to make these as fool proof as ever. These little 'security lines' in there are surely hard to exact, down to the little finest details.
I don't think these were made on purpose as a security proof by Casascius....he made these coins and I quote "" so the first Casascius coins were customized brass coins ordered from a mint that makes car wash tokens" https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Casascius_physical_bitcoins I think they just used those lines to create a pattern in the design. But then again I could be wrong.

The monkey and punk are dope! Great work sir!
Love it...
Very cool. As usual ahead of the curve.
You are always innovating. Very cool.
I would love any of these if you make a limited batch.
Thanks again guys for the feedback. But as I said in an earlier post, I do not make coins anymore for sale. These are all for my personal collection. I share whatever I make nowadays to introduce new concepts to our hobby. Thanks again for all!!

Goodafternoon to ye all! Raffle updated up to this post!

How easy are these fakes to actually find if you want them? I was thinking that I never get to see my Casascius collection. It's basically like I don't own them. It would be great to have a Casascius coin to display in a frame or something like that in my house where I could actually see it and be happy but obviously I'm not going to hang something extremely valuable. Maybe artworks with Casascius fakes in them could be a nice thing to have and not have to worry about displaying because they aren't really worth anything. Good idea or promoting forgeries? You be the judge. Still, I think it would be cool as long as the fakes were at least indistinguishable to a casual.
I hear you....whats the point when you cannot display and enjoy them? They are also great conversation pieces for anyone visiting your den as well. Thats why I made color photocopies of all my Bitbills and placed them in a frame Someday I will have it professionally made and mounted in a nicer frame, but until then I enjoy them everyday. While the real ones are safe in a hole underground DOnt know if you wanna do the same with cas coins, but I am sure you can figure out a way to take nice pics and place them in a frame as well.
