461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use betting tips? on: January 12, 2020, 11:56:02 AM
Betting tips are for the people who do not have enough idea about what they are doing. Those betting tips are just opinions of self proclaimed professional gamblers but there are legit tips and the problem is hard to find. We should just rely our decisions in ourselves and not use any betting tips. I used betting tips before but I stopped using it when I lose huge amount of money and that is why I only relying on myself after what happened.
462  Economy / Speculation / Re: Nice Increase in Price but What Next?? on: January 12, 2020, 07:53:04 AM
What next is obviously a dump and it's already happening. People should expect after a price pump there's always a price correction that will going to follow and we are almost getting back to the normal price range of $7,000 from before. That was the best time to make a profit if some of you are doing a scalping.
This is the best time for scalp trading indeed, the fact that there's a lot of ups and down happening in Bitcoin right now. But these pumps we are now experiencing is not good enough for folks who used to long term investment so I guess it is better if we will wait after the halving. I think the Bitcoin's price will only play around $6-10k until the we enter the halving.
But scalping is not a preferable strategies for all traders. Scalpers are for intermediate traders only, scalping is not good strategies for newbies in the market because they cannot handle the volatility of cryptocurrencies. The preferable strategy that we use is a swing trading strategy where we will buy at support and we will sell it in resistance. Even if it will take days or weeks, it is a good strategy to use.
463  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reasons why traders fail in Forex on: January 12, 2020, 06:48:20 AM
It's all about Psycological actions and emotion. I certainly agree about all of the listed in the article. But let me add up some that wasn't said above;

  • Stick to your own GUTS and INSTINCTS
  • Good Management in Trading

Those emotions were being managed now by most of the traders but newbies should really read the article.

Plus having the discipline and being updated can help a lot, I wanted to enroll in a forex trading seminars in my area but the fees were too high to consider that's why I'm taking one step at time in studying. It may seem the same in crypto but they both have different distinction. As we will be needing to focus on different currencies and set ideas on both. Trying to trade forex next year.
If you build your trading activities with this strong foundation, the chance of succeeding will be more higher. Good discipline with things that you'll be doing inside the market gives you much better views on how will you set up your own strategy. Knowing the principles adds up to your edges. As long as you trade using your own ways after understanding this field will give you positive outcome.
I tried to trade forex last December, it is also volatile like cryptocurrencies but the thing is it is more convenient to trade with forex nowadays because there are currencies which ar the trend of bullish market. The whole cryptocurrency market is still in bearish and it is really hard to trade using counter trend strategies because of the high risks that we can get.
464  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to buy Bitcoin anonymously in US on: January 12, 2020, 05:48:06 AM
There is a misconception about the anonymity of the bitcoin, there are people think that buying and using bitcoin make you anonymous but the thing is it is all wrong because all of the records and transaction are in blockchain so there is a possibility that a person can track using the blockchain. If you want to buy bitcoin the best way is by using exchanges but the problem is exchanges nowadays are now requiring its users to submit an ID for verification.
465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla boy does it again! on: January 12, 2020, 04:48:21 AM
I know this guy is rich and influent in the world, Paypal, Tesla, SpaceX....ok
But related to BTC, what's the reason to give so much attention to this kind of news?

This is something I don't understand Huh

It's simple. Every subject that is even remotely related to Bitcoin (in this case an influential person mentioning Bitcoin), will be used by news outlets to spin up an article and shove that through people's throats. I am not surprised about it and kinda understand the business model behind it, they just want to generate as much volume as possible, which in the end brings in the money.

People need to calm down and just ignore articles they deem unworthy of reading. Spend your time better by reading articles that you do like. Smiley
I see many tweets and also post in all over social media and those people are getting hyped because of the post of Elon Musk. Even if he his my idol, I do not get hyped to what did he say because I understand how the market works. I do not also use fundamental analysis so I always ignoring the news, rumors or even the opinions of the influential person all over the world.
466  Economy / Economics / Re: How many bitcoin is enough? on: January 11, 2020, 12:33:01 PM
As a part of this community, I'm aware that all of us have unlimited desires. So the answer is subjective because it is really depends on what type of personality that we have. I invested the money that I can afford to lose in bitcoin. I simply invested the money that even if I lose it, I will still say for me that it is okay because my I'm prepared to the consequences. The risks are high but I keep acquiring bitcoin because of its potential in the cryptocurrency market.
467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin still or altcoins on: January 11, 2020, 11:12:35 AM
Putting all your money in altcoins is not good idea. Diversification is the key to have better portfolio, allocate most of your funds in bitcoins than in altcoins. Altcoins are good invest but there are some altcoins that are not good in our portfolio, it is better if we will research first the background of the altcoin before we put it in our portfolio.
468  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ruined my account through multiple mistakes on: January 11, 2020, 10:03:03 AM
Yes i have done a lot of mistakes in trading a multiple times when i was a beginner in trading because my predictions in the market charts are mostly wrong, that is why i lose a lot of money in trading, but i sometimes have a chance to recover all of those losses when my analysis was correct.

Following other people anaylsis (pro traders ofcourse) would be a nice option if we don't have any experience in trading at first. Because it will lower risk and also we'll be more confident with our trades and not become panic when the whales are playing with the market. And ofcourse it's better than gambling without any knowledge in trading. trading with just feeling is the worst
It is not a nice option for me, there are self proclaimed professional traders so I do not easily believe to the post of other people in the internet. Having knowledge is important but the most important is we should not depend our decisions on others, we are the one who should create our won decisions. Mistakes are inevitable but we can use our mistakes in order to protect our funds in the near future.
469  Local / Pamilihan / Re: How I Got Tricked and Lost all my Cryptos stored in Coins.ph on: January 11, 2020, 09:03:13 AM
Ignorance ang dahilan kung bakit may mga taong na sscam o nanakawan ng funds. We should blame ourselves if that happen to us kasi eto ay kasalanan naman natin.
470  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price in January 2020 will touch 10k, What do you think? on: January 11, 2020, 08:02:50 AM
As long as the price will not breakdown, there is a possibility that bitcoin can reached $10,000 in this month. There are a lot of buyers at around $7700 per each because that area considered as major support. If there will be another rally again where it surpass its current resistance then it is a good sign that the market will turn into bullish.
471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you have a $2000 and had to invest in crypto which coins would you buy ? why? on: January 10, 2020, 12:10:43 PM
Are you aware about the pyramiding strategy? I will do that in order to diversify my funds carefully. $2000 is enough investment for me, I will allocate the 40% in bitcoin, the 30% in Eth and the last 20% is in XRP. I want to build solid portfolio and that is why I will only but cryptocurrencies that have potential where the risks are less. I do want shitcoins in my portfolio so we should carefully choose what type of coin that we are going to buy.
472  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It’s very easy to trade Bitcoin on: January 10, 2020, 06:56:15 AM
Buying and selling on bitcoin always gives us a very easy feeling but we have never optimized it because what we're feeling is simple, it's really complicated when bitcoin is so volatile as you say, Bitcoin does not just increase or decrease within a few dollars, it goes up and down in the few thousand dollars in minutes, that's why so many people have lost so much money for bitcoin, this simplicity has become a deadly trap. If talking about the ease and can make a profit in safety, I feel that altcoin is still easier

Just buy low, sell high. The concept itself is actually really simple. It's the implementations of that concept that are difficult. At the end of the day, if you just buy low and sell high, you will have successfully made a trade. The issue that most people run in to is the long periods of time where the price is in a slump or not moving at all. Most people tend to just give up on it and sell off at a loss when in actuality, if they just held out, they would have made some profit. Patience and not buying in during highs is key.
The concept of buying low and selling high is easy to understand, in the reality that kind of strategy is hard to execute. Those new people in the market cannot know if the price is already at low or at the peak. Newbies are required to study the basics because it is the foundation of all knowledge. Support and resistance are the most important in trading.
473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts about Bitcoin adoption on: January 10, 2020, 05:21:20 AM
Pay in store with Bitcoin can happen but you should undenstand that this have very volatile price so there's a risk if you use this still i think some stable coins can be like useful and helpful in store(grocery) so in future adoption of cryptocurrency will grow by this so just wait i'm sure that will happen because this brings so much convenience

That's right. Perhaps, we can use the other coins which have low volatility, so we don't have to worry about spending too much amount to pay something. Using the other coins, we don't have to use bitcoin for the payment method, but we can use bitcoin as the investment, which will give us a profit. I am sure that in the future, or from this year, the adoption will grow, and I guess that we already saw that the adoption is already happened since a few years ago. But with the bitcoin price increases, that will make people open their eyes to see that bitcoin comes to give them new hope to make money.

It can also be a part of a lifestyle, using bitcoin can be in our lifestyle like paying using this in some transactions. By that we can more advertise or promote bitcoin. Although simple thing involving bitcoin can be a big part in spreading bitcoin in our community. Adoption takes a lot of time for it to become natural and normal for the people in a certain community. It will surely grow if it is used in some other factors not only in paying. Trading also helps to share bitcoin. Communicating, sharing and understanding the advantages of the bitcoin in the economy is also important that it gives you way to gain more money.
Spending my bitcoins became my habit, there are now many ecommerce platforms that accepting bitcoin where we can buy goods ang services through online. I think the major problem is the awareness because many people are still not aware to cryptocurrencies especially bitcoins. If we will increase the awareness about bitcoin then we can see a major adoption.
474  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency, KYC and Terrorism on: January 10, 2020, 04:20:02 AM
This is the reasons why a lot of people hate submitting KYC in projects because they are afraid that their personal information might be used to sell it in the different people or terrosist for their illegal activities, that is why i always reject to submit KYC in projects and gambling sites just to save my identity.
Kyc shipping is not worth the risk we suffer. I personally do not agree with that. Moreover, there is no legal protection from the government. I am afraid that if used for criminal acts and on our behalf, so we will deal with the law. will certainly make the atmosphere complicated by our mistakes in sending kyc

I'm now afraid because I participated before in projects that requiring KYC. I'm afraid that my identity can be stolen and can be use in illegal act. I saw articles before that there are projects and exchanges that sold the identity of their users in the dark net. That is why I always ignoring the projects and exchanges that requiring my identity. I want to stay anonymous that is why I'm against KYC.
475  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reasons for traders to look at! on: January 10, 2020, 03:08:06 AM
I think the most important thing to become a trader is to control your emotions. Many new traders often let their emotions overwhelm and they often make the wrong decisions. If you have negative thoughts while trading, it is best to stop and resolve those emotions before returning to your trade.
This is the most importanf thing for me, because with this it can change everything, we can win or we  can lose, a proper mindset is needed for us to make a right choice in everything. Trading and gambling needed a healthy mind so that we cannot lose our money just because of our emotional capability. This must be considered.
Controlling our own emotions and feelings are what we need. Even if if we are good in fundamental and technical analysis but we are luck in controlling our own emotions, we will still fail. In order for us to successfuly execute our trades then we should focus on improving our trading psychology. It is one of the most important thing that we should improve.
476  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Maharlika Money on: January 09, 2020, 09:03:36 AM
477  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does auto trading bot make good profit ? on: January 09, 2020, 06:55:28 AM
There are people who say yes and there are people who say no but one thing is sure trading bots are not holy grail where we can guarantee our profit. There are now many articles in the internet saying trading bots suck and it is better if they will trade on their own. The image of trading bots are now tarnished because of the losses that traders are keep experiencing but for me it is their own fault, if they did not use trading bots then they will avoid major losses.
478  Economy / Speculation / Re: $9k next week on: January 09, 2020, 05:42:34 AM
I'd be perfectly happy if it just stayed in the 8000s rest of this month and didn't fall back to 7000s.
I think I wrote nearly the exact same words in another post--but in any case, I agree with you 100%.

And it's funny how when we get a little bump, members start cranking out the bullish predictions like OP did.  I guess it did look like bitcoin was headed for $9k within a short time frame, but now that it dropped back below $8k things aren't looking as rosy.  Probably for the best, too, since if the price rises too high, too fast then it becomes unsustainable and is prone to crash.

Anyway, where bitcoin is at the moment is better than $6700 and I'll take it.  If it stays around $8k for a while, I have no problem with that whatsoever.
I think the price will consolidate again around $8000. If the price of the bitcoin rises again then there will be a big pullback that will happen. As long as there is no breakdown that will occur, I will not let go my bitcoin. I recently add a position when the price breakout. We should be aware that aftet the breakout there will be a role reversal where resistance became support and it is sign of strength.
479  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you start trading? on: January 09, 2020, 04:44:11 AM
Hello traders!

I would like to know how you started trading? Any interesting articles,
videos or guides that you found helpful before you started?
Can you share your opinions and experiences please?

I had a hard time starting trading. I was not born in an educated family, I had to find a way to earn and take care of all the costs of my life. At that time, I went into trading and I had to learn everything through google, I was looking for teachers who could guide me to success in trading in the shortest time, ... but it was all for nothing. I suddenly realized that this financial market is very harsh and I had to trade by myself. After 2 years of trading, I realized that nowhere can give you a better experience than Mr. Market. So I recommend that you practice when you've just learned a good knowledge, then you will grow more than taking thousands of dollars of courses without meaning.
I also have a hard time to understand the trading when I was new in the market. At first, I fell lost where I do not have any idea when to start and how to start. The first thing that I did is I researched on how to read charts. I researched about the candlestick, its parts and also the patterns. The next thing that I did is understanding the platform. I researched about the tools that I can use and also the effective indicators. The first exchange that I used is bittrex.
480  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitrcoin is going up on: January 09, 2020, 03:03:45 AM
I'm not a fundamentalist so I do not care about news, I only rely my decisions on the chart. The reason why the.price of bitcoin is now going up is simply the buyers overwhelmed the sellers, it is the data that I got from my analysis. The bitcoin surpass its previous resistance and then there is a breakout that happen that cause the price to increase. I always cringed if I read about the war that causes the price bitcoin to increase, it is not like that for me.
