101  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Can bitcoin withdstand the raising legal obstacle. on: February 11, 2018, 01:03:58 PM
I guess no matter how complicated the situation may be with legal matters, Bitcoin will be able to withstand it or even people would start understanding its concept and sooner or later adapt to its use. I just heard how a state (I think its Arizona) is considering the use of Bitcoin for paying tax. This is actually a big leap as other government may be influenced with their action or they would be able to consider Bitcoin as well making them understand its concept. I know that in someway the government would learn to compromise because there would be a lot of people affected with the regulations or banning they establish about Bitcoin.
102  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-01-09]Arizona Closer to Accepting Bitcoin and Regulating ICOs on: February 11, 2018, 10:17:05 AM
Really refreshing to see a government embracing change and innovation for the development of their state. We all have witnessed how other governments has been trying to get rid of Bitcoin through banning its use in their countries. It is nice to see how the state of Arizona is standing its grounds and standing firm in believing in the capabilities of cryptocurrency. Hopefully, this would be the start of something great that it would lead to influence other governments that cryptocurrency is not a threat instead something that can be used to promote progress through flexibility.
103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does crypto market decline affect your gambling? on: February 11, 2018, 08:43:03 AM
Even if it seems it doesn't, it somehow does because I feel like when I bet, I depend it on how much the rate is. If the rate is low, then I can bet more and do it vice versa. The rewards may be of the same amount but it will definitely not be of the same value which is why I really think that the rates somehow do have an effect towards the gambling practices of people. Overall, I guess people would prefer having the rates at a low but also having high winnings so that when the market is in a good place, they would also have a good value for their winnings.
104  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC right now on: February 11, 2018, 06:38:06 AM
Bitcoin has been on the greens lately after experiencing reds a few weeks ago. Although still on the low edge of $8,000, I am actually considering buying when it drops a bit more around the $7,000-$7,500 range. Ever since the decline up until now, I've been holding waiting for its unexpected peak to occur. I do think that the chances of it lowering to the $7,000 range would be low now since it reached its resistance last time, but Bitcoin has been really unpredictable lately so I guess anything can still happen. One thing is for sure tho, it will come through sooner or later.
105  Other / Off-topic / Re: Selling or buying? It's your very own decision! on: February 11, 2018, 05:28:59 AM
Before making a decision to buy, sell, or hold, you really have to know the trend in the market to avoid inapprropriate or unfortunate losses. It can be challenging at times due to the volatility alone that makes the movement unpredictable, but sometimes you just have to stand by with your own gut feel because you yourself can only be the right one to know what to do with what you have.
106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Was Your Gambling in 2017? on: February 10, 2018, 04:48:17 PM
2017 was a year full of ups and downs. Luckily for me, I had some significant winnings which I think is remarkable as when I bet most of the time I bet in the lowest possible amount. Chances of winning are not as high when you bet on the low range which is why I feel like those winnings were truly unforgettable. However, there are just some days that you get unlucky which makes you lose your earnings quite fast. I really think the good overpowered the bad outcomes in my gambling journey for 2017, so i could truly say that 2017 was a good year for gambling.
107  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do You Have Any Fear Bitcoin Might Crash Someday. on: February 10, 2018, 01:11:02 PM
I made it clear to myself that when I engage myself in Bitcoin, risks are bound to occur anytime (even in just a snap!). Which is why I have always been open (and maybe even open) to the idea of it crashing at any moment. Don't get me wrong, I believe in the complexity of the structure of Bitcoin which allows opportunities to arise for its users. However, it's volatility has lead to many uncertainties which opens the possibility of it crashing. At first it was a fear, but I saw how Bitcoin bounced back each time its at a low which made me believe that with time, Bitcoin will recover. Right now, the crash of Bitcoin is inevitable but we have to be ready for it as cliche as it may sound, we shouldn't risk anything we are not ready to lose. Same goes with Bitcoin, you win some you lose some but at the end of the day, it's all about the risks you are willing to take.
108  Other / Meta / Re: Merits could be a character molding. on: February 09, 2018, 03:30:09 PM
That's true, whining would not lead to anything. Instead of being productive in the forum, people who did not agree with the merit system has been continually ranting when in fact there's nothing to complain about in the first place because it is our responsibility to post constructively in this forum to share and gain knowledge at the same time. I am glad to see newbies opening their minds and trying to see the good in this system instead of allowing the "disadvantage" (for their part) to overpower their mindset. Let's move forward and start accepting change for the betterment of this forum and its members.
109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does your family past incidents effect you? on: February 09, 2018, 12:58:09 PM
It can really be hard to explain your side to those who value beliefs that are being passed on from generation to generation that even certain situations that happend to a relative can also be reflected on your own life. I do believe that having a family history of losing big bucks in the casino cannot be passed on. The reason why they experienced such events is because of their own choices. I guess the family of your friend would have a hard time comprehending this since they have a certain belief that they truly live by. Maybe you can tell them to have an open mind and that some things aren't connected or simply say that their family is not cursed. It's all about self control.
110  Other / Meta / Re: Merits Low rank should be proud of on: February 09, 2018, 07:24:58 AM
Glad to encounter a newbie full of optimism and high hopes! For the past weeks ever since the new merit system was established, I have seen so much rants on how the merit system is not in favor of the lower ranking members. It is refreshing to see someone who is willing to take on the challenge for the betterment of oneself and this forum. Thank you for openly accepting change and emphasizing the value of effort in constructively posting to be a responsible and good member of this platform. Keep your head held high. May more newbies come to the same realizations as you did and be encouraged to be better members of this forum.
111  Other / Meta / Re: Merits from your friends? on: February 08, 2018, 03:51:24 PM
is this legal share merits with your friends? and some one is begging for it? or else give merits and trade for something?
I don't think giving merits to your friends is something illegal unless and until you merit your friend's shitposts. If you want to merit your friend's post then merit some good quality posts of your friend.
If someone is begging for it then you should ignore such people. And we should totally avoid trading of merits and never even think of encouraging this.Merit system is really efficient and we should respect it by using it in the right way.

What Adioliver said is on point. If your friend is without a doubt someone who is informative and helpful to this forum then there is no reason why you shouldn't give him recognition for being a responsible member of this forum. I think that there are boundaries to everything, so when you're just helping out a friend to rank up but doesn't come through with constructive posts, then you yourself is the one who is misusing and abusing the system. Illegal, maybe not for now, but it is your responsibility to award the merit to people who are deserving for in the end what you'll do will reflect on you and your genuine intentions.
112  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-05] ‘It doesn't die and it comes back stronger’ on: February 08, 2018, 12:20:39 PM
Just goes to show how Bitcoin is really truly something. For people to have so much concern over it despite that vast array of opportunities it provides or it can give, the complexity of the structure of Bitcoin has made people concerned rather than embrace the idea of its flexibility and efficiency. Education, open mindedness, and adaptation is really what we need to spread awareness about Bitcoin.
113  Economy / Economics / Re: Positive thinking brings positive things. on: February 07, 2018, 10:26:24 PM
I love the optimism you are trying to spread. It's true that at a tough time, we have to hold on something that gives us hope that things will be better after a bumpy road. I also believe that when you think positive, somehow you attract those vibes and end up in a good situation. However, we should also understand that positivity doea not always equate to reality. I do understand why people are worried when the market showed reds. We should respect how they feel and instead encourage them to turn away the negativitly by employing reality with positivity.
114  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-07] Bitcoin Jumps Over 20 Percent as Crypto Markets Regain Poise on: February 07, 2018, 11:50:53 AM
It's good that after a few days, Bitcoin is starting to show some greens to which seems to be the stage where it is gradually recovering. However, we should all still be open to the fact that anything can still happen in this platform due to its volatility that often leads to the uncertainty of the movement. This situation just proves how patience pays off and how Bitcoin always comes through. May this be the start to more better days in the market.
115  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's price is so volatile right now! Why should I even hold? on: February 07, 2018, 04:53:24 AM
The volatility of Bitcoin is a fact that is and can still be hard to comprehend by many people. It is a given that when you venture out in this platform, you will experience a variety of highs and lows. The answer to why you should hold is simple: selling won't do you and the market any good. You would end up losing more and regreting it when the time comes that Bitcoin is on a roll. You should know that despite the bumps in this crypto journey, Bitcoin always come through and that being patient often is worth it. Remember why you invested in Bitcoin in the first place, don't give up until you've reached your goal.
116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how long you can stay without gambling? on: February 06, 2018, 10:58:28 AM
I think I can pretty much last longer than expected. I already experienced being so addicted to the point that it wasn't healthy anymore and I don't wanna be back to that place which is why as hard as it may seem, I tried to control myself slowly until I can totally let go off it. Thinking it through, I guess I made the right decision. It's all about priority and having self control at the end of the day. Right now, I only gamble only if I feel like I deserve it, not as often as I did before and I still feel great!
117  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-05] Bitcoin Prices Again Below $8K, But Traders Forecast Fresh Upside on: February 06, 2018, 01:51:09 AM
In the world of investments, ventures that are for the long term really matters. As McAfee emphasized, what we are currently experiencing are flactuations that is expected to occur. Looking at the bigger picture, we've experienced worse situations than we have today. Knowing the nature of Bitcoin, it will recover soon enough. We just have to be patient in waiting for that moment.
118  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy! on: February 05, 2018, 05:32:23 PM
I told myself that when Bitcoin hits $8,000, I would not miss the chance to buy in some more. Look at where we are now, the rates continually glitching but despite that, it can be favorable for us believers. It can be a frustrating situation to be in right now but with the right attitude and perspective, you might be looking back at this time and regretting not making the most out of it. As Bitcoin reaches the low end of $7,000, let us take this opportunity to be smart and not just be devastated. Keep your faith, if not you'll just end up losing more.
119  Economy / Speculation / Re: do you think bitcoin will go back to 6000? should i sell now? on: February 05, 2018, 12:51:11 PM
In the world of Bitcoin, anything is possible and as cliche as that might sound you should be used to it by now as we have reached a point where the range is reaching below the lowest rate we thought it would get; so in other words $6,000 is a rate we might possibly reach and we can even reach further below if people continue to panic sell. You know that selling at this time won't do you any good because you would end up losing more. However, it is you who can only decide that. If you have faith in Bitcoin, you know that it would recover. Just give it time. If not, you have all the freedom to choose what action would best suit you.
120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Playing alone in a land based casino or Not? on: February 04, 2018, 10:15:11 AM
For me, I prefer playing in land-based casinos than in online platforms. Just like you, I often go with friends when I play and when I started going alone it somehow felt weird at first but it never came into mind that I should consider playing online instead. Despite the hassle of travelling and parking, I would rather visit casinos on land as it gives me the real game vibes. The thrill in seeing everything right in front of you excites me and I think online casinos cannot provide or equate to such feels. Nonetheless, we all have our preferences. Maybe you should also try doing online casinos and see which one suits you.
