1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Testnet Bitcoin (Native Segwit) on: May 08, 2024, 09:37:16 AM
GM, fam!

It's been a while since my last post and I think this is my last resort.

I've been looking for a testnet bitcoin to test some dapps, a Bitcoin Layer 2 to be specific and tried a lot of faucets online that promises for some testnet bitcoin but haven't received any from those. By any chance, do you guys know a legit faucet or if ever you have some, my grandma will gonna appreciate if you can send to my bitcoin testnet address?

Here's my addy: tb1q5508uj6h55fzwej2syv9mdruzq38sw86avqq53

Thank you so much guys!

3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: cryptocurrency trading courses on: May 19, 2022, 06:05:40 PM
It's great that you're interested in learning more about crypto. I also suggest purchasing Udemy Courses, and you will surely get some fun time with cryptocurrency. However, you must select the proper one among a large number of Udemy Courses. Just concentrate on the reviews and select the ideal one for better learning.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to detetct any scam projects? on: May 19, 2022, 06:02:54 PM
There is no concrete indicator regarding how to identify a scam project, when the creators were doing shady things and the community was starting to understand it, and when it would be the ideal moment to exit the project. You must be aware of the developer's background, whether there have been any instances of plagiarism in the project, and many other factors. You should look into the scam allegation areas. When the creators were performing one or two dubious actions, it may be an indication that the project would quickly turn into another scam enterprise. If you don't want to be scammed, don't invest in a high-risk project.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty question on: May 19, 2022, 06:00:11 PM
It pays off when you can participate in a bounty that has a cap on the number of people that can participate. There have been several campaigns that have done this, and if you are able to participate in this effort, you will receive a nice reward. Some managers did not set a limited number of participants, and I am confident that if you participate in this bounty, you will receive tiny rewards. The amount you can receive from participating in the bounty depends on how good the project is. You took part in a social media campaign and, presumably, earned a prize, but it was a different story when your campaign failed. No one can adequately answer your query.

A mentor is essential, as is sharing materials, and not everyone can self-teach. If feasible, learn to take the course route based on how the traits you master, and try to search according to the search in your nation. It does, in fact, cost money. And if it feels like a barrier, you have no choice but to use social media, which you can access and understand on your own.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luna holders will get new token. on: May 19, 2022, 05:56:26 PM
The Luna incident has had a lot of ramifications in the bitcoin industry. I have nothing against Luna, but based on what I've seen, all of the rescuing or reversal attempts may be futile. Would you rather possess a new coin that is more valuable than your most recent Luna or UST money (which are currently worthless)?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to put money in ETH? on: May 19, 2022, 05:54:11 PM
It's time to just keep your money in your handbag since the market is currently too volatile and might harm you in a variety of ways. Ethereum is a great financial asset, but if I were you, I'd DCA all the way rather than buying it all at once; this is the greatest advice I can give you.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't punic, just hodl on: May 19, 2022, 05:51:57 PM
Cryptocurrency prices are now undergoing a correction. There's a chance that the price will rise in the near future. Traders, on the other hand, will naturally worry if the asset's health deteriorates. However, if the assets we must retain are for the long term, we do not need to be concerned. That is, the value of the crypto assets we invest in has no bearing on our everyday requirements. Don't put your kitchen money into bitcoin since the asset's worth will quickly depreciate. That is, the balance will continue to fall, and losses will ensue.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market Analysis on: May 19, 2022, 05:50:31 PM
It is obvious that the cryptocurrency market is still in a bearish, with practically all crypto seeing a significant loss, but one of the most important things to do right now is to be patient and wait for the crypto market to rebound; you will benefit enormously from the investment you make, because what occurred in 2018 may repeat itself this year.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear market every team will pump their own coin on: May 19, 2022, 05:46:43 PM
Some cryptocurrencies never follow the Bitcoin movement. As a result, it's usual for a few cryptocurrencies to pump even during dump season. Occasionally, projects manipulate the price, or there are forthcoming events that cause the price to rise. But we can never profit from it since we never know which coin will be the pump. I simply follow a few coins and profit during bear season.
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did you live through the last bear market ? If so, what did you learn ? on: May 19, 2022, 05:44:10 PM
Yeah, I did, and that is a really tough moment in my judgment, as well as for many crypto enthusiasts who are experiencing their first market correction. The piece of advice:

2. Only trade with money that is not required for everyday living expenses.
3. Trading for a living is not an option for me; I need to supplement my income.
4. Investing is more profitable than trading.

13  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Panahon Na Nga Ba Maging "Cashless Society" ang Pilipinas? on: May 19, 2022, 05:35:21 PM
I do agree na sa estado ng bansa natin to date, hindi pa handa to go cashless fully pero masaya ako na, unti-unti na natin itong ina-adopt at papunta na sa pagiging cashless society. Also they can coexist naman, it's a matter of choice or preference na lang if you want to go cash or e-payment. I myself do both but more on e-payment talaga. Sa simpleng pag gamit ng Paymaya or Gcash's "Scan QR to Pay" sa mga merchants, nagkakaroon ng awareness sa mga nakakakita sayo na pwede pala magbayad thru that system. With that, nabubuksan isip nila na aralin at i-consider na gamitin ang ganoong teknolohiya. Papunta pa lang tayo sa exciting part! Grin

14  Local / Pilipinas / Re: GCash offering crypto services soon on: May 19, 2022, 05:31:26 PM
Truly Gcash is our country's top 1 mobile wallet and so much ahead talaga sa mga competitors but when it comes to crypto, late na sila to adopt. Ilang years na rin mula nung una nila sinabi that they are venturing crypto but until to date, wala pa rin. Lezgo!
I think there is no such thing as LATE sa crypto world mate because this is our future currency ., Maybe Gcash is taking time pero never na magiging Huli sila .
tsaka baka pinag hahandaan nila ng maayos ang crypto adoption than just setting it now then magkakaron ng mga issue sa susunod na mga panahon.
and besides wala akong nakikitang dahilan para hindi panindigan ng gcash to dahil ikaw na ang nagsabing sila ang pinaka used wallet now sa pinas .

True naman na there's no late when it comes to crypto because we're still even early. Nasabi ko lang na late, when it comes to adoption compare to there competitors, like Maya, Coinsph to name a few. Tho, confident talaga ang Gcash na sila at sila pa rin ang maghahari in Digital Wallets mag adopt man sila ng crypto o hindi. But, I think sooner or later, mafoforce din silang mag launch when the time calls.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Altcoins Have Good Opportunities in the Next Year on: May 12, 2022, 03:25:24 PM
We've seen the boom of Layer 1 blockchains from the previous year up to this year 2022. Layer 1 project is still a thing and should be considered. One of these that is waiting to take off is Casper Network (CSPR), will not get tired of promoting Casper Network as the team is very committed to delivering. There are a lot of updates coming up on this project, so you might want to watch for this.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be patient for your profit on: May 12, 2022, 03:14:43 PM
I heard a story of a seaman from the Philippines who bought millions of GALA tokens in early 2021, which cost him only 16,000 pesos or 320 dollars. He also mention that he is a newbie in crypto and GALA is the first crypto he bought, not have much experience in trading, so he didn't touch those tokens settled on his cold wallet. To make the story short, he is not able to check his tokens as there is no phone signal while boarding the cruise ship where he is working. After 9 months, his back to the Philippines, and shock when he checked for the first time his wallet. The tokens he bought back in 2021 were now worth 60 million pesos or $1.2m. That is a power of holding but the lack of cellular networking while sailing the sea is a blessing in disguise here. Who would think that in a span of 9 months you will be a millionaire? Only in crypto!
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is your most anticipated project for 2022 on: May 12, 2022, 01:33:43 PM
I don't want to sound biased but man, Casper Network (CSPR) is just waiting around the corner. When the market heals from this sudden crash, I'm sure that Casper Network will be one of those projects that will take off. Take a look and read more here: https://casper.network  Wink
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for good trading on: May 12, 2022, 01:27:10 PM
I read a rant from a crypto newbie in a local thread, where the OP expressed his frustration with his investment being liquidated, as the investment that he puts in trading was mainly for the daily expense. This is a lesson to everyone that don't gamble your money for the things you have no solid learning, especially trading that is highly volatile, even pro traders are getting rekt, what more if you're a newbie? These tips are very timely as we are experiencing a market crash, where every day millions of dollars are being liquidated. With the current market situation, give ourselves a pause from the stress of trading, take a break from losses, breath, and learn new things, so we are ready when the market heals.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Its time to buy - end of bear market incoming on: May 12, 2022, 01:10:40 PM
Crypto markets are volatile, so buying cryptocurrencies at any price – let alone a dip that might become a long-term trend – is risky. While prices could return to previous levels, they could also fall even further, leaving your investment underwater.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I’m done with trash coins!! Looking for something promising on: May 12, 2022, 03:58:53 AM
While this is indeed temporary, I’m looking for stupid cheap but promising in long run, not necessarily moon this day and tank tomorrow

You might want to consider Casper Network (CSPR), it is a layer one Proof-of-Stake blockchain, the first provably live and safe version of CBC Casper, that is designed for real-world applications without sacrificing usability, and decentralization, security, or scalability. Casper’s mission is to bring blockchain into the mainstream and create more open and transparent networks powered by builders. Casper removes the barriers that prevent mainstream blockchain adoption by making blockchain-friendly to use, open to the world, and future-proof to support innovations today and tomorrow. Guided by open-source principles and built from the ground up to empower individuals, the team seeks to provide an equitable foundation made for long-lasting impact.
