401  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Where can i report a crypto crime? on: October 05, 2017, 12:12:40 PM
There is a special service that the cyber police. They spetsializiruyutsya on crimes of this kind. You will have problems to assess your damage because bitcoin is not recognized by the States and technically has no price. But in any case, account hacking is a crime.
402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anybody planning on forking bitcoin. Don't call it bitcoin cash/gold/platinum... on: October 04, 2017, 11:57:23 AM
When a person has a choice is always a complicated task for him. Many people do not understand what are bitcoins and don't believe in them. They of course choose the dollars. The experiment need not do so. First, give the person 0,023 BTC and advised to visit bitcointalk. After 1-2 months, ask him what will he choose and I am sure that the result will be different.
403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptotourism - is it evolving? on: October 04, 2017, 11:50:28 AM
Why to create problems for yourself? Now I do not see the possibility to travel only with bitcoins. It's more of a dream than a reality. in fact, we can't even in the country to use bitcoins. We are constantly forced to use the exchangers. For travel it is better to have a Bank card with dollars on the account.
404  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Bitcoin the way to fight corruption? Or is it the good way to launder money? on: October 04, 2017, 11:44:15 AM
Bitcoin is the only currency. It doesn't help and is not fighting corruption. It's not her job. It is wrong to blame the weapon is that it kills people. Initially it was created to protect. Charges of crypto-currencies is that they corrupt this element of the information war, governments and banks against a free economy.
I do not know how to fight corruption with the help of bitcoin. However, with the help of bitcoin, you can avoid paying taxes, laundering dirty money and committing other crimes. However, this can not in any case be accused of bitcoin and other crypto currency. Almost everything can be used for both good and evil.

I also have to agree because I don't see bitcoin as something that may combat corruption, but it is a tool that may encourage corruption such as how money is. In ways, it may be used to avoid acts of corruption or encourage it such as money laundering and other illegal activities. It ultimately would depend on the user and their values and morals. It's the same with money - it may be used for corruption but its up to the user.
Money laundering is happening now through Fiat. This is not a problem. In my country the corrupt use bitcoin to launder their income. They declare that bought bitcoins a long time and the present condition is acquired due to the difference in price. But they pay taxes. If they do it via Fiat then everything goes by the Treasury. Which is better?
405  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why hasn't any government stopped Bitcoin? on: October 04, 2017, 11:38:24 AM
1.Bitcoin has no centre to attack. There is no single organisation or person that controls Bitcoin and transactions don't go through a central clearing house there is really no way a regulator can stop people from downloading Bitcoin wallets and sending each other bitcoins. If there we to block all the websites that people can download Bitcoin wallets from, new ones will come up and some people will compile their own wallets from source code - Bitcoin is like Bittorrent is that respect. If they shut down theses internet, people will send each other Bitcoin via SMS and if they shut down the electricity supply, people will use solar and battery-powered solutions
2.secondly,if government try to ban , it will make it more popularize among those ones too who are not known of it,making individuals to explore it and finding new ways to grab something out of it
There is only one flaw in your arguments. This is something that we cannot buy goods with bitcoin. Each of us is forced periodically to exchange bitcoins for Fiat. The government has no problems to strengthen the control over the movement of Fiat and bitcoin will lose its relevance.
406  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is it legal to sell bitcoin for cash ? on: October 04, 2017, 11:33:29 AM
As long as your pay taxes on Bitcoin then it is always legal but in some countries, the government will set some rules about the transaction limits. If we reach more than that we have to pay taxes to the government otherwise Bitcoin exchanging is always illegal.
I disagree with you. Everything that is not explicitly forbidden is allowed. Therefore, any bitcoin transactions are legitimate. There are only some countries where bitcoin is forbidden. In my country the use of bitcoin is not regulated but if you change bitcoins to Fiat, you will immediately get under the tax laws. Withholding taxes with Fiat is a crime.
407  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: October 03, 2017, 02:25:56 PM
I believe in BTC and i know it will despite its up and falls, it will surely end poverty one way or the other.
Reducing poverty takes the role of the state, if the state never accept bitcoin then it does not feel useful. it is time the country is aware of the problem of poverty and must find a solution to overcome it and bitcoin can be used as a source of earning all citizens to overcome poverty.
I think the society is aware to the problem called Poverty for the longest time now, I think its been a problem since in the middle ages or something. They always have this so called statuses, like highborn or commoner and all stuffs like that. So basically, poverty is a status; not just a problem but also a status. I mean if you would look closely, they've been like this, making so called tiers to the society.
This division of society into layers will always be. Poor people are always limited opportunities for quality education and therefore their opportunities in life are limited. Bitcoin will not be able to correct this injustice. Maybe the users of bitcoins will now be able to earn more money, and only their children will begin to change the world.
408  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: October 03, 2017, 02:18:34 PM
Bitcoin will be hard to replace the dollar. They were released a lot. The number of bitcoins is limited. But what a lot of people who have used the dollar to protect their savings from inflation of the local currency will pay attention to bitcoin that's for sure. The dollar and us economy will be no ordinary times.
409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lagarde devoted a third of her talkon financial tech to cryptocurrency on: October 03, 2017, 01:53:17 PM
The international monetary Fund has never helped countries that turn to him for help. For me it's not the good news. If such major institutions as the IMF began to pay attention to crypto-currencies that I have nothing good from this. The dollar is the first currency which suffers from the spread of cryptocurrency and therefore, have to wait for war with the Federal reserve.

411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: The best place for mining on: September 29, 2017, 12:46:55 PM
I personally keep it at my bedroom. I've got a small mining rig of 4 msi gtx 1060 cards which are sitting on the other side to my bed.
They just have two fans and don't make much noise. They've been a few months with me so I don't mind them any more.

Since winter is coming I don't get bothered with them and even in the summer just a fan was enough for me since I live in a tower and leave windows open for most of the time.

I really can't figure anywhere else. That's the only place I have since there's no garage and balcony isn't safe from rain.
I don't know how things with the GPU mining on Nvidia but on AMD after flashing the BIOS my temperature of the GPU does not rise above 55 degrees Celsius. This is when the outside temperature is about 32 degrees. But sleep near the equipment I would not. Such a monotonous noise detrimental to hearing. You need to look for a separate room.
412  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's clear now China have higher amount bitcoin on: September 28, 2017, 02:37:11 PM
Tax evasion has always been a big issue in China. That is the reason why the government officials are running scared of Bitcoin. They are afraid that Bitcoins may be used to hide individual wealth, and to transfer wealth abroad. Same is the case in India as well.
Tax evasion is not a thing if they give punishment to the evaders, it's not just light punishment but the heaviest one, then the citizens will forcefully reporting their profit, or wealth from bitcoin so that government can tax them.
since blockchain is really transparent about every transactions going on, it doesn't make sense if they scared of it.
And where it says that this is your wallet? Yes, the transaction is seen but it is faceless. You can be tracked only after you make the exchange of bitcoins for Fiat. But it is also difficult because there are many exchangers that do not require registration and you will remain in the shadows.
413  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: September 28, 2017, 02:30:01 PM
Money is a very important part of our lives but it seems to me that health and knowledge are much more important. If people get money for no effort, he will not be able to properly manage money and ultimately to remain poor. If you have the knowledge that the money you earn always. The main thing that health allowed.
414  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price perspective on: September 27, 2017, 11:26:29 AM
OP, I know where you're coming from, but all of these price projections are based on past information.  This is the whole reason why I don't subscribe to technical analysis--you're looking at past price movements and hoping(!) that patterns repeat themselves.  And they most often do not.

Look at the list of all the richest stock market investors.  None of them got their billions of dollars by looking at charts.  None of them are technical analysts--they usually employ fundamental analysis, like Warren Buffet.  That tells me that TA doesn't work.  So we can hope bitcoin is headed to $10,000 or more, and it might be, but you can't tell from those charts.
It seems to me that all price spikes are signs of artificial origin. No one can predict the behavior of whales in the market. Bitcoin is a Paradise for speculators. Everyone is trying to get rich on this oblivious to the fact that if the uncontrolled bubble to inflate it can burst.
415  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin world currency on: September 27, 2017, 11:21:56 AM
Your idea of having a currency which allows anybody arround the world to buy and sell using bitcoin is good. I think its happening already, we can see it where different people are offering diferrent service and goods.  Seeing how bitcoin works now, I think bitcoin is pretty good functioning along side with other currencies. I  think we can already call bitcoin  as "world currency" . But we are still on the process on making bitcoin available to all kinds of commodities, we cant rush it to happen. It is now under the development, then I think the countries part is to take their action how to apply tax with their people using bitcoin. Regulation is the part of the government to make the economy better alongside with bitcoin.
It seems to me that you are in a hurry. Bitcoin still not be called a currency. He has all the characteristics of currency. Indeed there are some places where you can pay with bitcoin but they are too few. Everything is still in order to make a purchase need to exchange bitcoins for Fiat.
416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keep calm: The bitcoin is stronger on: September 26, 2017, 12:46:15 PM
despite the recent attacks by bank managers and the planned closure of trading platforms in China and other speculation and false rumors about the disappearance of the Bitcoin, Bitcoin is certainly sick at the moment, but it is only a natural thing, a great correction due to various factors that I just mentioned.
it is clear that we must take advantage of this sharp drop by buying the Bitcoin  Cool
The Blockchain is a genius of this century, the institution can not ignore it;)

Bitcoin is strong we all knew that. But I haven't heard news or rumors about disappearance of bitcoin and I think China just admit that bitcoin cannot be stop or either disappear, so probably it is not true. And for me, we bitcoin user and bitcoin is bigger than everyone else, so nothing can really stop bitcoin.
China gets things done. I don't think the Chinese are willing to miss the opportunity to have an income in the cryptocurrency market. Most likely they want to buy coins and to control bitcoin because of its dominance in the crypto market.
417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Coming War Between Digital Currencies on: September 25, 2017, 10:58:59 AM
The cryptocurrency market is very promising and therefore it will always be tough competition. If there is war it is not known. The fact that the government will fight with all the cryptocurrency that's for sure. They will not give up the Fiat position without a fight.
418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no role in real world on: September 25, 2017, 10:55:51 AM
Bitcoin really is still too weak to have a big impact on our lives but we are only at the beginning of the path. The dollar took a world war and half a century to take over the world. We still have everything ahead. The main thing that in the world there is a demand for the replacement of the dollar. There is demand there will be supply.
419  Economy / Economics / Re: The Seven Stages of An Empire and How Precious Metals Are Key on: September 25, 2017, 10:49:44 AM
One point that I believe Mike Maloney needs to focus more on, is the addition of Cryptos, IE BTC and others, into his basket of face haven assets. Gold and Silver truly do have their place, but should now share a portion of that space with Cryptos. Diversification is good.
In order for cryptocurrency to compete with gold, they must have a physical support. Now the cost of cryptocurrency depends on our expectations. The money we invested in them earned in the real economy. Cryptocurrency will have a real price only when will bring real benefits to the world economy.
420  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Physical bitcoin debitcard? on: September 25, 2017, 10:38:42 AM
Such attempts have been repeatedly. Only the idea has not yet received a distribution. To make purchases with bitcoin you need to constantly convert it to Fiat. This creates additional difficulties and costs. At the moment these cards are too expensive for the owners.
