1  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-12-31] Bitcoin Halving in 2020: 3 Things you need to know on: January 01, 2019, 02:15:12 PM
This economy works only in a closed system of cryptocurrencies. When this system has allowed the Fiat all went according to rules. Owners of a large number of Fiat received the opportunity to buy large quantities of coins and this gives them the opportunity for manipulation. Perhaps in the future mining will be profitable only for the owners of hydroelectric power plants.
2  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-12-30] Bitcoin Whales and the Rise of Crypto-Fueled OTC Desks in 2018 on: January 01, 2019, 02:09:27 PM
It seems to me that all exchanges are intermediaries between small holders of coins and whales. Their interests are to lower prices as much as possible and buy our assets. This will continue until there is an opportunity to buy goods for cryptocurrency without exchange for Fiat. But this does not want a system that controls the world's finances. We will always be held hostage to manipulation.
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big pop up again on: August 15, 2018, 04:31:55 PM
As we approached sub $6k and actually hit $5.9k... we see another huge pump to $6400. Impressive, a $500 dollar move up just like that, on a single candle. Someone bought a pretty decent amount of coins.

I wouldnt say its just like that, we got people watching like hawks looking for entry and when to catch a tide for ride up and so on.  BTC is famous for its speculators of course.     The scenario I see now is of a negative trend but also exhaustion and the end of that trend.  People typically get gloomy at their most extreme on the tail end of this negative trend but the important note is we already fell, its too late to be gloomy now the smarter thing is keen eyes looking for a change in the prevailing wind.

Doesnt have to happen but my view of this 'sudden rise' is people carefully noting and entering for a possible rise.   It takes more then one factor but for a global market its complicated to see all points of views in all currencies.  In some very troubled currency like Turkish Lira for example they already are grateful to hold some BTC I think

In order to profit from the hedge that bitcoin delivers against fiat currencies deprecating against it, you must own bitcoin before your local fiat currency crashes.

The problem is just like in previous fiat disasters, people usually don't own BTC when the fact happens, they start looking into it after the fact, which mean is harder to obtain. You must have some longer term planning. So if I was turkish I would have already BTC instead of waiting for my currency to dump 25%.

Also most people are computer illiterate and don't know how to act fast. But it's only a matter of time they start catching up.
Do you have a guarantee that Erdogan will not prohibit the use of cryptocurrencies? He is a dictator. What does not fit in his head for him evil. Turks in any case will lose their savings even if they have dollars and bitcoins. That's the price people pay for bringing dictators to power.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price LIVE:BTC in danger of dropping to $4,000 ... on: August 15, 2018, 04:25:40 PM
unfortunately the price of bitcoin isn't really down to $ 4k, even the price doesn't touch $ 5k. Bitcoin's lowest price is $ 5900 and after that the price of bitcoin jumps again.
Why unfortunately? Did you want to buy coins cheaply? I doubt that you have the opportunity to buy a lot of coins. Perhaps you suffer envy to those who have coins. Don't waste your time on hate. Buy your few Satoshi now. After a while, you won't even be able to buy them.

6  Economy / Speculation / Re: Profit realisation on: July 12, 2018, 01:13:31 PM
The manipulator = bots (controlled by whatever entities) respecting resistance points.

I think it's safe to say that the market this year has more than ever been controlled by bots rather than retailers. The market right now is far too calculated and stable in comparison to how the market was behaving last year. This is the direct result of professionals entering this space and probably will control and stabilize it further in the forthcoming years, especially if they manage to squeeze retailers out of their positions which is only a matter of time.

Bitcoin knocked on the door of wall street and now we'll get it in full glory.
Stability is just one of many strategies. Rich people from wall street gradually get full control over bitcoin and then can do anything with it. Stability is only needed for bitcoin to be used as a currency. But such a task is not for speculators. They make a lot of money on instability. The more bitcoin falls in price now, the more it will rise later.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I CHOSE BITCOIN INVESTMENT OVER BANK INVESTMENT on: July 12, 2018, 01:02:35 PM
Probably to abandon Bank deposits very early. What to do for those who now have deposits only in cryptocurrency? They are forced to sell their coins at low prices in order to meet their daily needs. Whales need that. At such moments we have to keep the coins and spend only Fiat.
8  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is it possible to reveal our identity in the local exchange? on: July 11, 2018, 02:27:51 PM
As we all know that one thing that might hinder the acceptance of the bitcoin system for the government is the hidden identity of the members. Local exchange should do intensified KYC so as to avoid the system of cryptocurrency being abused by other members as well like money laundering, funding of terrorist groups and others as well. Some of the country had done this things already and the question is would favor to do KYC on your local exchange?
When people say that to me, it's funny. How many people do you know personally who launder money with cryptocurrency? I am sure that you do not know such people. Then why are you writing about it? These fakes are spread by opponents of cryptocurrencies. I think that KYC is a trouble for cryptocurrencies and KYC contradicts the idea of creating cryptocurrencies.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: B250 Mining Expert Motherboard - 13 AMD GPU Maximum on: July 11, 2018, 02:23:56 PM
Well it will, it's just that the 14th gpu needs to be a mining specific card liek the p102 or p106 .. I was wondering if it was a mining card requirement or if you could just use a any nvidia cards to supplement 13 amd gpus' on that board

you see that is the thing, why only p106, p104 or p102? why not amd mining cards like rx 470? why only nvidia mining cards?
because Pxxx cards don't have display outputs. they are not GPUs but just some PCIe expansion boards from motherboard's point of view.

The asus rx 470 mining card has "Interface: DVI Output : Yes x 1 (Native) (DVI-D)", so it is all bound by display output it seems.

Interesting point. Skipped my mind that rx470 mining editions are still mining GPUs. Has anyone tried if they would work towards building a 19-GPU rig? These days it seems like power consumption is key to staying profitable. I would love to consolidate some rigs and build 19 or eve 21-GPU builds.
Why do you need to increase the number of GPU? What do you want to achieve? Saving the cost of rig? It doesn't. A large rig will cost more than a few rigs of 6 GPU. In case of equipment failure you will have a large amount of GPU. My opinion is that the policy of increasing the number of the GPU is a mistake.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STOP COMPLAINING!!! on: July 11, 2018, 02:17:40 PM
Complaints have always been and will be. A lot of people want easy money. Whales have been waiting for them. They take money from beginners easily so we see so many complaints. But I do not get tired of saying that cryptocurrencies in the right hands is a good income and a trap for greedy people.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you actually use Bitcoin? on: July 10, 2018, 01:08:54 PM
Of course i do , its the widely used cryptocurrency in my country . Its accepted by a company here which is regulated by our government . So yeah , Im actually using bitcoin and convert them into real money . Sometimes I dont even need to convert them since i can deal p2p . I can purchase good and services online . Bitcoin makes online shopping more easier you just need to find a dealer who accepts bitcoin as payment tho ..
A lot of dealers are? You have confirmed that in order to make purchases you change bitcoins to Fiat. That says you're using Fiat. You only need bitcoin to access Fiat. So forced to do the majority of users of cryptocurrency so the trust in cryptocurrency is reduced and it becomes more vulnerable.
12  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018/07/05]5 Countries Establish Group to Fight Cryptocurrency Tax Crime on: July 10, 2018, 01:05:10 PM
If governments did what they say, I'd pay. I'd help them. But they don't, so I'm not paying them.

They can call me a criminal all they want, it's a simple case of a group of corrupt malfeasants complaining I won't give them money so that they can use it to commit immoral acts. If that makes me the bad person, then I don't want to live in "society" of people that support that anyway (the sort of people who will exasperatedly say "there's nothing the can be done about corrupt politicians", yet I'm doing it, and they're too afraid to)

Can't agree more. Some times it feels lonely being surrounded by brainwashed sheeps thinking that those not willing to let go of their hard earned money easily, are harming the country because that money can't be invested for the better anymore. Funny thing, or maybe not, is that it has gone so far that your neighbours snitch on you if they for whatever odd reason suspect you of tax evasion. The government must be happy with such a voluntary shill army.
I support you completely. But I think you're wrong about the neighbors knocking because they're brainwashed. No, it's just human greed. They can't accept that one of their neighbors has more money than they do. This is used by governments. They specifically throw up versions to justify the snitches. "Divide and conquer"
13  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-09] Ledger Is Solving Bitcoin's Biggest Flaw For Financial Giants on: July 10, 2018, 12:54:29 PM
Most recently, there was a scandal about the fact that Yandex has opened access to document files that were stored on Google. It was Google's fault. Does anyone want to see their private keys in public? I am against any centralized system. If this happens then there will be no cryptocurrency.
14  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Legalize Blockhcain - Legal Conference on: July 10, 2018, 12:48:46 PM
I don't see any point in attending such conferences. In my understanding, the conference is a meeting of enthusiasts who have a common goal. How can you sell tickets for such events? Lol. The topic is also very strange. They still did not understand that the legalization of bitcoin will destroy it?
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New to Bitcoin. Should I mine or buy coin with my $6000 on: July 09, 2018, 12:03:20 PM
For some peoples, they will choose build their own bitcoin mining because its give bitcoin every month. But before we start build our own mining, we should calculate our cost. Electricity cost is biggest cost and we should compare it with bitcoin price.

The mining of all cryptocurrencies has been decentralized for a long time. This made it possible to attract new miners. But now the situation is changing. People with large capital entered this business and now they are gradually increasing their capacity and replacing small miners. It seems to me that soon this market will be completely monopolized.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Restore it's Place in the Market? on: July 09, 2018, 11:56:03 AM
What does the place of bitcoin in the market mean? It is now taking its place in the market. Bitcoin has always been and will be the number one. It has an impact on the entire cryptocurrency market. Perhaps you meant the price of bitcoin? I think he will not only recover but will go up. Just wait.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Basement ventilation advice on: July 08, 2018, 11:18:38 AM
Forced ventilation is expensive and not always effective. To make room for mining was a constant circulation of air should do the calculation on the basis of aerodynamics. A competent specialist can create conditions in the room in which passive ventilation will be much more effective than all your fans.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What is your target temp and max temp on gpu? on: July 08, 2018, 11:11:07 AM
My GPU in the winter show the temperature from 45 to 56 degrees. In summer when the temperature outside is 35+ they are heated to 65-68 degrees. Then I lower the parameters to lower the temperature. Automatic shutdown of the GPU I have is set to parameter 72 degrees. I think that this is the maximum limit which it is undesirable to exceed.
19  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Switzerland the best country to launch an ICO on: July 08, 2018, 11:00:21 AM
It seems to me that ICO will face hard times no matter in which country the project will be implemented. The world is globalizing and this can be a problem for ICO teams. The American economy exists largely due to the stock market and control over it. Therefore, the Americans will do everything to prevent the popularization of ICO dj all over the world.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Problems: Lack of regulation creates a risky environment. on: July 07, 2018, 01:36:19 PM
The lack of regulation is freedom. There are always risks in everything. But a free person is aware of this and takes responsibility for the decisions taken. Regulation is a responsibility on regulators. They may not always be able to keep you safe, but they will take your freedom for good. You need this? It seems to me that the current crisis of cryptocurrencies is largely due to the tightening of the policy of regulation of this market.
