I'm hoping that this system will increase post quality by:
- Forcing people to post high-quality stuff in order to rank up. If you just post garbage, you will never get even 1 merit point, and you will therefore never be able to put links in your signature, etc.
- Highlighting good posts with the "Merited by" line.
rank and the number of activity points you earned in the last year. A Legendary member who hasn't posted in the last year would still be Legendary, but would not have any spendable merit.
I am sad for the fact that im going to be a senior member this january 30 but this merit system will delay it. However i am agreeing with this system to lessen the shitposters that ruining our forum, this system would give them a hard time to farm activity for their ranks, and also this will affect account sellers like "Selling potential Sr-member" but now theycant sell it without merits. This update will bring us a new and anti toxic forum. |

Nope, 2018 will be a good year for bitcoin and to the whole Cryptocurrency because as cryptocurrency becomes popular it will attract potential investors that may affect the future price in the market. It's just that every first month of the year bitcoin's suffers from huge dips, also there are quite happenings that affects bitcoin's price like SCAM and FUDS ex. Bitconnect etc etc. But still trust in bitcoin because it will bring us to the Moon. |

It is really hard to get rich in fast pace here in crypto, but some people able to do it by luck in short term trading. But some people in order to become millionaire in a short period of time they risk their assets by investing to an ICO. There is an huge risk about ICO but huge risk is = huge profit or loss. thus it is really hard to become rich here we need alot of time and effort to be able to do the right thing here at crypto.

Requiring us to pass KYC procedure campaign violate the very idea of using cryptocurrency.
KYC is a big no no for cryptocurrency because as we all know there are plenty of hackers here in cryptocurrency thus being anonymous is one of our safety rights. There are quite bounties that requires to answer an KYC form before letting them get their coins it is really dangerous for us to give our identity to the people we dont know im hoping mods and admin here in BCT will auto ban bounties that requires KYC. |

Bitcoin is really unpredictable, hence you wont know whether it will go up or it will go down. Sadly there are many cases of FUD and also Scam that affects not only bitcoin's price but also alt coins. But i think in this current situation bitcoin price cant hit 20k usd by the end of January. So the best thing to do is to hold and wait for bitcoin's price to go up so don't panic and sell your bitcoin just because it is dipping again.

This is really big news for crypto, it is really shameful for IOTA because their security is so light. Many IOTA holders is crying right now because of their funds was stolen. This may be a Lesson for whole crypto to become more vigilant of our own belongings, and will serve others for upcoming project, wallet sites, and exchange sites to strengthen their security.

I would refer to you to invest on bitcoin since the current price of bitcoin is low than it is used to be like around 14-16k usd. And as you said youre planning to hold until next year 2019 so i think with bitcoin's potential in is capable to increase its price by many times, also you can try investing to other potential coins like Ethereum, Carnado and Ripple. There are alot of Coins that has really potential in the future. So becareful on where you will invest and be wise. |

2-3 Days back we saw the huge dip in all cryptos, later market recovered a little bit but right now market is in red again!
In Cryptocurrency fluctuation is normal occurrence, even though some of crypto is pumping there will be a time that their going to be dipped. When this happens in all aspect of market. However the only thing you have to do is have some faith in what crypto you invested in and continue to hold for it until the price will rise again. |

Eth has been surprisingly strong when bitcoin was going down. Maybe in the future it will start to decouple from bitcoin.
Ethereum really is been strong since the beginning but still in the future bitcoin will still hold its ground as the number one crypto. Still kudos to the founder of Ethereum for making such a high quality with great potential coin like Ethereum. Ethereum to the Moon no doubt about that. |

If youre planning to invest for long term ripple maybe is a good choice for you, but if you plan to invest in a short term dont think about investing to it because it just got pumped recently and it is hard for it to be pump again. So this is your choice if long term go if not find another potential coins out there. |

I think you should hold or eth because it has alot of potential with in it so techinacally it will still be pump and raise price like Btc, if you really want to invest try to others other than waves because in my own opinion waves loses its potential due to new coins with greater potential than waves |

this is a really crazy dream for ripple. please think about again decentalization aim. xrp is under control central banks and they will not allow earning money peoples. bank thinks only itself. not people.
I agree with this guy, since ripple is not so decentralized due to banks it is hard for them to increase their price. And also Banks really do think about only itself because they let people loan to them then they will punish them with taxes that is why many people are getting bankrupt and also bank is the reason why many people suffers from debt from their whole lives. |

It is really hard to see when your portfolio is bleeding down, but if it really happen dont panic because it is normal in cryptocurrency, if that happens dont immediately sell your coins but, you must hold on to them with confidence knowing that they can bounce back to the moon.
