There is nothing wrong having such opinion on fearing the value of bitcoin. Since bitcoin also have risk in it, it is not a doubt that we would fear that it might drop down unexpectedly due to some factors especially right now when all of us are expecting highly of it.

Bitcoin is not even 10 years old now. To think about whether it will exist 100 years is waste of time in my opinion. The developments in the crypto world are always fast and innovative. There is no best time to sell bitcoins or any other coins. The only way to determine if you are using bitcoin effectively is when you prevent yourself to lose any of it.
So, answering your question, sell when the prices are above your capital or amount in btc that you have invested. A sure profit will likely be with you in return.
Christmas in not actually a best time since prices went very low not unless you held your bitcoins since last month when prices are still $5k dollars and you have tripled it. Anytime is a good time. But if your willing to hold more, much better. It can go up more. Keep part of your btc in your wallet. Cash out your whole capital and some profits maybe fifty percent.
