Currently have a substantial amount of funds stuck on greenaddress due to a major bug in the greenaddress web service. When logging in i get prompted with this message, clicking either option recursively gives me the same message or freezes the web page. I have tried disabling cookes, changing browsers, changing computers to no avail. Also installed the app on my ipod touch and got the same problemsWARNING!!! DO NOT TRUST THIS WEB SERVICE WITH YOUR COINS.I have contacted support but still no answer after 24 hours, will be sending multiple messages to support until i get a response. Will be boycotting in the meantime as i don't want anyone to be in this position, Learn from me and stay away from greenaddress until at least they have fixed this bug.UPDATE:I can now login again however they have not fixed the bug so it still could affect you: The issue should be fixed now. We apologize for the inconvenience. The cause of the issue is a bug that has affected only a couple of people so far and unfortunately you were one of them.
We'll be looking to fix the bug as soon as possible, please let us know if it happens again (it's quite random so is very hard to reproduce but it may happen).

I'm having trouble accessing my funds in the GreenBits app and can't login on the website either (it just keeps saying that I'm already logged in - maybe my phone didn't log out correctly?) I'm using the LG Nexus 5 with a TREZOR. Me too. I cannot login more than 6 hours. "You are already logged in. Do you want to log out the other session?" There is no other session. I restarted my PC and tried to login with 3 different browsers too. I always got the same error message. I have 2 wallets, I can login with the another one. So it is very interesting. The wallet i cannot login has no 2 factor authentication and perhaps i did not give any email address at the wallet creation time . (so there is no nlocktime files) . (As i see 2 factor authentication is now required to create a new wallet) I hope greenaddress could fix this bug or they will owe me 60 bitcoins. Same problem here, can't access my coins, absolutely no response from support.

I have an idea I believe will bring A LOT of people to Sia... I would have made this site myself if I possessed the technical website building skills. The idea is to create a website similar to www.icefilms.infowhere people can go to lookup ascii codes for the movies they want to watch. With Sia.. no one could "take down" the files due to copyright infringement/etc... Once uploaded, you could keep the file online without having to constantly update the download link due to copyright infringement. Best part, the only thing on the website itself would be the ascii codes and nothing else that the companies could stake a claim to. We would very quickly become the number one "new-torrent" client (because it's convenient as F*** not to have to constantly update download links). Anyone who actually reads and gives this some thought will know that this idea has huge potential. icefilms makes about 3K a day from advertising alone... if someone builds this site they could really reap the benefits. This is a call to arms for those who support Sia and its' future, if you possess website building skills, you should totally jump on this... (and maybe give me some credit too ). Tips are greatly appreciated! -Bitcoin 1GEyyNPQhHsim9Sr4z6wNSJciD5w7iXTmK -Sia f3d6b70c2bc5aab6015055bca840473ae0ddf4bb4dcdcb9fd936d8213406c395 EDIT: If someone seriously pursues this, I would very much like to help and be a part of it in anyway I can. I believe in Sia. The problem is that ascii files expire whereas bitorrent files don't. If file uploads to the sia network were permanent then i would consider this. Also its hard to convince people to pay for there downloads when they can just torrent them for free, it would be a premium service but as i said the problem is with the centralized control of the files. One person has the ability to take them down and they are not permanent like torrent files. I see sia more as a dropbox alternative then as a replacement for BitTorrent.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SKY] Skycoin Launch Announcement

Summary:
If your biggest concern is whether a coin is going up or down 50% this week, then you are going to be slave chipped. Your children wont know Bitcoin ever existed, because the wikipedia page will have been deleted and cyptocurrency bloggers wont be allowed to get government blogging licenses and because Paul Kruger says that Bitcoin is bad, so anyone who says that bitcoin is good is spreading untruths and their pages will be removed from Google search results.
We are fighting a battle against, human enslavement.
The future will either be a world of freedom, mass affluence and abundance or it be a world of human enslavement and corporate controlled artificial scarcity where a majority of humanity is kept at bare subsidence levels by a corporate/political elite through monetary policy and government regulation. The direction technology is developed and whether it is used to liberate individuals or control them, will determine the outcome.
Or we can all pump coins and become rich slaves, in sports cars.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Bitcoin & Fungibility, The relevance Of anon tech
|
on: April 01, 2015, 05:25:34 PM

Bitcoin will not be dominant as it could be because its not fungible.
Zerocash is the most important development that is going on in the bitcoin space.
I see the possibility in the meanwhile for anonymous coins such as monero, darkcoin and others creep up in value due to bitcoins lack of fungibility.
And no, stealth addresses and coin mixing does not remove the coins transaction history.
Zerocash release date in around 6 months to 2 years in my opinion.

Dan open source the code so no one can accuse you of being a scammer. You got to be an idiot to think people aren't gonna accuse you of being a scammer, you have absolutely no code or technical papers to show.
Possible Ways to pull a scam of:
1. Who knows maybe your jar files could be malicious; snooping on other peoples computers, it makes sense. 2. Cash in on the big IPO. Your code is closed source so it could easily function as described but in a centralized manner.
People know who you are and will be after you if you turn out to be a scammer.
Ask this question:
Dan has revolutionized cryptocurrency technology or he is just a scammer?
Which one seems more likely hmmmmmmm.......
You got to actually show code and technical papers.
You seem to care so MUCH when people accuse you of scamming, that rings my alarm bells because it seems to be a very touchy subject for you. I also saw you donate some bitcoin publicly to someone in need on this forum, that is scam 101, make your self look like the nice guy.
No one should assume your not a scammer and no one should assume you are a scammer, they should only judge the project by the code end of story.
