Hey, so my windows 8 machine with a wallet on it is not accepting rpc connections for some reason. rpcallowip is set right, solo mining from the computer to 127.0.0.1 works, but when solo mining from another computer on network, it doesn't work. Worked with windows 7 under same config. qt wallet allowed in windows firewall. Any ideas?
Haven't tried running wallets on Windows 8 myself yet so I do not know if this works. Have you tried running it in compatibility mode for Windows 7 or Windows XP? Running in compatibility mode can provide features or functions that have been removed or changed on the new platform. This worked.

So with difficulty around 19 on onecoin and still can't solomine with 400 kh/s, absolutely all rejects, even though onecoin uses scrypt-jane.
EDIT nvm author not using scrypt chacha, but scrypt salsa 64 and blake512.

I keep getting the same block found 0 while solo mining and wallet is not increasing, -D drops me back to command prompt. 6970, tc 8000, worksize 256 or 64, lg 2. Hashes about 90 kh/s so I know something's not right when it's only doing double of a 6750. Also pool shares not increasing on yac.ltcoin.net, but I am getting "block solve" accepted shares.
See. Later, after about two days, I'll try to migrate to cgminer 3.2.1, to see if it can fix this issue. Latest stable is 3.1.1, 3.2.x was made for usb asics for bitcoin, why not stick with 3.1.1?

You have to be using GUIminer - scrypt for litecoin, regular gui miner is for bitcoin and other sha-256 currencies.
