141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the fate of Scammers if bitcoin later becomes a traceable Currency. on: December 14, 2019, 09:12:36 AM
Many say here that Bitcoin can indeed be tracked for transactions, but it's better if there is a more sophisticated system to find people who commit fraud or take our Bitcoin secretly, for example, their data can be seen or their faces recorded with sensors that are has been prepared with a tool that has been designed. That's just my imagination. Grin

It can be but for now it's not worth it. Teams that do it like for the FBI are spending a lot of time and human resources to track people and they're interested in big fish like that guy owner of BTC-e that was laundering money. So if you're a big scammer who took millions you have reasons to worry but then you can probably run to a country with no extradition Cheesy
It's called KYC and there's no way we could get that kind of information or data if they didn't submit it themselves but most of the scammers know well that doing so will only expose their identites so they choose not to do that. However, if the whole crypto enable a further tracing then we will lost our freedom aswell and it's not really decentralized. The transparent transaction is enough.

I firmly believe KYC is not something that is deterring scammers
this is a known tool of some shady casinos to not pay winnings , for example and it is nothing good for a legitimate user
the anti-scam and AML and such is just a pretext to collect your personal data
I'm equally cautious about revealing it , especially in the age of the big data we live in
Facebook and Instagram etc. know about you more than your wife/husband does and its the sad truth
bitcoin is designed to be partially anonymous and let it stay this way , if I want to be fully transparent , I can use VISA or any other money

There is a Christmas raffle going on when going into the vip tab so to reload my boost. It seemed have started today.

wow it's a huge reward for the Christmas from the stake and right now it worth almost 7 BTC
i will definitely join this because it's very easy we just need to wagered 1k$ for each ticket

Getting the raffle rickets can be easy for you but not for all including me who do not wager that much every time I play.
Sure I can force myself to wager to get the tickets but I'll just play as usual. Who knows that I'll win with low number of tickets? LOL
Would be an epic win on the raffle if someone win the main prize with single ticket, and it can be his/her best Christmas gift ever.
Wish you luck if you are going to get many raffle tickets.
Good job from Stake with this awesome and generous Christmas raffle.

For every 1000$ wager, you will get 1 Raffle ticket. The amount is quite high and I am sure not many people will be able to gather a lot of tickets. But those rich gamblers who will gather these raffles tickets will surely be lucky to get some big wins on this Christmas.

yep , a cool promotion , will be participating for sure
one more reason to be watching Ediie on Xmas  Grin
I wonder how are these tickets are going to be registered and numbered? is it going to be automatic or you will have to post something on the forum?
and the  number of entries is going to be enormous , since there is enough time to wager - 14 days
whales can do 10+ btc at once , so I guess they will have better chances to win , but you can get lucky and win a nice Chrismas present yourself
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the fate of Scammers if bitcoin later becomes a traceable Currency. on: December 13, 2019, 04:47:04 PM
Bitcoin as a currency that is decentralized, they is no Headquarters for Bitcoin and it has no Central office where they distribute information concerning Bitcoin, Like illicit transactions that money was lost but recovered after some investigations through the distributed information.

like someone said on my previous thread that more people will be comfortable using bitcoin if these features comes into place.

Share your thoughts.

whoever says it has no idea about what blockchain is
bitcoin is more traceable than fiat transfers, it is pseudoanonymous , not anonymous
the main problem that it can be traced allright, but it cannot be traced to  you , so to say
the transactions are public , the addresses are public , where did the money go is well known , but they can't link it to a certain person ( if he doesn't want to and is clever enough not to leave traces behind )

if you think there will be no scammers if it becomes totally centralized , god forbid , look no further - fiat money scamming and illicit usage dwarfes  any of cryptocurrencies or other assets combined

~snip~
Played few days ago and got lucky to hit 9900x @600 sats Cheesy Cheesy
^ Wow, how lucky you are bud. Can you share with us what strategy do you use? Probably we can also win that huge amount just like yours.
there is no any specific strategy you can copy from him even he told you what's his strategy, you still can't win that amount with same strategy. My friend was also often hunting 9900x too, but his strategy is kinda funny. He looking for 2 wins in that chance in right/left side, then he will start to beting on oposite side.

I remember having an atrociously long red streak on 9900x once , think it was over 95.000 reds in a row and then I gave up
and again , there is no strategy that is working for a long time , your seed could give you some lovely presents and dish too or more 9900x wins one side fast
or keep killing your balance - it is all luck and the combination of the seeds
I used to bet a flat amount , increasing it after 10.000 reds ,  but I saw people roll autobets with a 0.05% increase on loss and winning alright
mind you , your base bet can grow very fast with this one and you could end up betting 5.000+ satoshi per bet before you know it
145  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: December 13, 2019, 12:29:46 PM
I think having a community manager is one of the big costs of many casinos and mintdice never required it because theskillzdatklls (lol) never let us be and he helped us out all the time, we don't really know what costs they have in staff, we know there must be some costs technologically of course but we don't know who is in the team and how much people are paid and what other casinos pay to compare neither however at the same time we all know that they have been doing marketing properly so far, they have been doing proper games as well, they have been doing whatever they have done properly which shows how legit they are.

There is no way we can't trust and like mintdice because they have done more for their community than any other casino I have ever seen.
I feel like affiliate marketer is investing something more valuable than money, they are investing time. Time is not something you could make back, spending 20-30 hours to get more affiliates and earn money equals to your life having 20-30 less hours you didn't do something you enjoyed, if we all had millions of dollars in our bank account, not too rich to become billionaires and be super busy with stuff all the time but rich enough (like 4 million dollars in savings account, all liquid assets) to not care we would all spend our times enjoying life instead of working and do stuff we want to do instead of we have to do, so that 20-30 hours is not possible to make back.

If you invest money and lose, worst case scenario you could make it back some other way, but you can never take your time back so I feel like affiliate marketers are doing something much more important.

well , don't we all invest our most valuable asset - time into earning money and other , less important stuff  ( like actually living )
affiliate marketers at least are earning money through others , saving time eventually
like  John D. Rockefeller  once said : "I would rather earn 1% off a 100 people's efforts than 100% of my own efforts."  - can't be more true for affiliate marketers , the successful ones
because too many of them are only investing time and often money to get no profit because they didn't estimate the profit potential of an offer
or spent too much money on a low return ad etc. , it is not an easy job and more often than not you lose out
and of course , the psychology of a billionaire is not "I earn 1 billion and then call it quits and buy an island and drink and have sex on a beach till the end of my life"
once you get the taste of big money , there is no stopping , its a dangerous game ... I wish to participate in one day  Cheesy

146  Economy / Gambling / Re: TOP 10 Cryptocurrency Sportsbooks on: December 13, 2019, 12:04:52 PM

Smiley In fact, Nitrogen was the first in this business and has long been considered the best. Therefore, so far there is no good reason to deprive him of his first place.

dude you have been told several times that what you are doing is totally wrong , I'm fine with Nitrogen being first even though I don't use it all since I will be getting better odds everytime with other sites
but how on earth 1xbit is 2nd !!! even your review says there are a lot of negative talk about them on the internet
do you know how many  profitable gamblers got scammed by this site ? seriously how much do they pay their promoters to lie about their fake reviews ?!!

Each sportsbook has some disadvantages. Therefore, what bookmaker should be in the first place now in your opinion? In any case, our rating is not final and will update the positions many more times. Our main mission is to provide a good selection of betting sites for players, since many of them have not even heard of more than one or more sites.

I get your point , but from the point of view of a pro sports bettor , the odds and the legitimacy of the site are the two factors to be looked at first
while I agree that Nitrogen has been in the business for ages and are not doing much of the funny stuff other , younger bookies are doing ( like setting limits when you are starting to win )
the odds it offer is in the most cases are worse than the rest , pretty much in every section or sports you take with rare exceptions
while it is convenient and a good site overall , definitely not the top spot for me
well , maybe its just my subjective opinion , but I was really surprised by the choice for the reason I mentioned above - low odds = good bye
147  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Rises to $20-$50k After Halving...Thoughts? on: December 13, 2019, 10:31:54 AM
What are your thoughts on Lightning Capital Hedge Fund Manager, Charles Hwang, predicting BTC price will rise between $20-$50k after Bitcoin halving?

I do really want to believe in this case because it did happened last 2017 but the thing is, not everything would happen the same as usual. But let us all put our hopes on because it is for the benefit of us. So, with all these predictions and stuff, we still must observe possibilities specially when we are a trader or investor in which we must worried about.

what happened in 2017 wasn't to our benefit , it was a temporary bubble  that could  not be sustained
I don't want the same happen and would prefer a steady rise backed up with the global adoption and more awareness about bitcoin and blockchain and its benefits
all of the predictions like that are simply PR stunts and are useless , where are all of the predictors who promised six figures ?
none of it came through and the reality , as usual , is going to be slightly different to what we expect
do not count out black swans and hope for better , but do not get disheartened if the price stays in the same range after the halving
it is unlikely , because historically we see a parabolic eventual increase in between the halvings , but not impossible at all
including a price dropping too , by the way
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypt is now legal in Ukraine on: December 13, 2019, 09:42:12 AM
What do you think?
Yes this is interesting news for the cryptocurrency and blockchain community in Ukraine.
I have read this news some time ago about the question of President Zelensky cryoto being the main thing, They want and plan in the year 2021 to conduct plementation and the country's policy on crypto will be a happy discourse for the people of Ukraine.
I think this happened because many of their governments and many local officials were involved in the development of the blockchain in Ukraine.
I hope this news can be an example for other developing countries, it is appropriate that in an era filled with technology today, cryptocurrency should be the main race in all fields.

double checked , there is no such law that passed through the parliament
although Zelensky is a new leader that is pro-technology and he is trying to build quote " a state in a smartphone" whatever you take from it
he is far from being pictured a crypto enthusiast , maybe heard about bitcoin but definitely never shown his affinity towards it
in regards to the blockchain usage ,yes there are several projects that are being discussed but nothing that is implemented
Ukraine has a few bitcoin exchanges like Kuna , but being a corrupt state I doubt that many companies or banks would love the blockchain implementation
since it would be way harder to do underhand business
149  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com SPORTS BETTING NOW LIVE! 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 on: December 13, 2019, 08:33:46 AM
i just notice that we can cash out our bet on sportsbook but is there any requirement about when we can cashout our bet?

yeah  , it depends on the current result and the state of the bets , I guess
sometimes you can cashout with a loss , sometimes with a profit , depends on how their system evaluates the odds of the outcome of the game(s) left
and it is not possible to cashout when Live bets are in play and a team is scoring or an event takes place that changes the score , like a penalty , for example
but it is usually the best to see the game through unless you are totally positive it is going to be a loss so this way you triage the damage to your funds
150  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com SPORTS BETTING NOW LIVE! 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 on: December 12, 2019, 11:34:37 AM
by the way , does anybody noticed that the stake sportsbetting lines is a little bit poor compared to any other bitcooin sportsbook? i know stake is new in this industry but hey there always a room for improvement right?
Its quite obvious to people like me who regularly gamble on sportsbooks like Pinnacle where the odds are way better. At the moment, Stake sportsbook is alright, but needs to improve their odds by reducing their margins.

Also, the lag needs to decrease too while placing multi-bets. The biggest advantage I found with this sportsbook is the ability to bet with just 100 satoshis.
that is what i mean  Cheesy , let's see how they will go maintain the service in the coming years.

100 satoshi even lower! if you bet with altcoins like ripple or tron , i do noticed laggy about when you placed a multi-bets i thought it was just my browser that has too much cookies in it, have not clear it though.

Pretty insane multi-leg bet right now on stake! The most sure bet of GS over Knicks is now this bettor's biggest hurdle but this player is letting it ride and just 2 games shy of 17.5BTC!

https://stake.com/sports?iid=sport%3A107907&modal=sportBet

EDIT: 3/4 have been hit!! Now this punter is 1 game away from winning 17.5BTC

too bad , the bet must be settled as lost by now . GSW lost at the ET. one more 3 points for GSW and this bet pays you $120k!
who the heck doing this crazy multi-bets thesedays? and included GSW to win where everybody knows that they are sucks this season without curry and thompson. that was an interesting match between losers of the season though.

amazing ,one bet +15.000 $
not only a lucky sports bettor , also some sort of a visionaire , well predicted that the game was not going to be in his favour
wow this guy has some guts , let it ride and cashed out at the final moment ( probably )
and it was the right decision , 4 btc is way better than 0  if he stayed

151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypt is now legal in Ukraine on: December 10, 2019, 09:32:14 PM
So, guys, I think it's a small but a win. A win of our crypto community! I hope there will be more such examples of accepting crypto in 2020. We will start with small countries and then go to global powers. What do you think?

There's the news https://bitcoinist.com/crypto-payments-now-legal-in-ukraine/

there is nothing on the news and the bill has not passed the votes just yet
and  don't see how it is positive for Ukraine as there will be just additional taxing for the crypto holders
you , basically , gain nothing but are now going to pay taxes on your trades and sale of coins
the problem with Ukraine is that the government  is super corrupt and every next one is worse than the previous
even if this bill passes , the taxes won't be serving anything good but will be spent on the things like paying debts to IMF and such
152  Economy / Gambling / Re: TOP 10 Cryptocurrency Sportsbooks on: December 10, 2019, 07:37:48 PM
See here the Rating of TOP 10 Cryptocurrency Sportsbooks: topbuki.com/rating-of-cryptocurrency-sportsbooks-eng/
As usual, a pile of recommended sites with having a referral link on it. Typical stuff in short and im not really into self-review when it comes to things.
Majority knows on which one is the best when we do talk about Cryptobookies.

well at least he is funny:
"Our comprehensive Ranking System is based on a combination of expert appraisal from the best in the betting business and in-depth web analytics from a number of reputable sources"
and putting Nitrogen top of the list with the crappiest odds among almost every casino on the list
should have been : "Our supremely comprehensive ranking system is based on how much affiliate we get "   Grin
yet another affiliate marketing site , poorly done at that , but at least he listed a lot of bokies there and took time to register and put his reflink for us to enjoy
153  Economy / Gambling / Re: Find out about the best Bitcoin Online Casinos on: December 10, 2019, 09:21:32 AM
not the top place to post fiat casino affiliate website at a crypto forum , my friend
while the selection is good , you should have listed the crypto casinos too ( or even instead ) since the vast majority of people here gamble with crypto
to those used to bitcoin casinos and no hassle and no limit withdrawals : the bonuses you see are in 99% of the cases are subject to 50x+ rollover and KYC checks
especially no deposit bonuses - expect any fiat casino to ask you to send them your papers/picture before you can withdraw any of it

Hi if you  double-check our website you will find that we have a an area for bitcoin casinos only, and many other normal casinos are starting to accept bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies too! Smiley you should definitely check our bitcoin casinos (y)

hey , I double checked and there are bitcoin casinos listed indeed
but  they are well hidden  and not the most popular ones are listed at the top , although there are many that I never even heard of
for example: Stake on page 2 , no sites like Primedice , Bitvest , Bitsler , crypto-games , Duckdice, Yolodice , Windice , Luckyfish and so on
maybe cryptocommunity is used to a slightly different type of casino , the ones that require KYC are avoided , usually
all in all its a good job collecting so many casinos in one place and as  a fellow marketer I admire your patience - registering at hundreds of casinos takes time and effort  Wink
154  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betbit.FUN is not related to us (Betbit.COM) on: December 09, 2019, 08:36:10 PM
yeah , I get the same message from Firefox - Phishing site ahead
probably someone has already reported them and their little ""promotion" is not going to result in anything
it didn't cost them much aside from 1.28$ for betbit.fun domain at Namecheap and some time , good thing Google reacted fast and added them to their list
155  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach $ 19k again before 2022? (poll inside) on: December 09, 2019, 07:51:26 PM
19k$ is not something to wait for until 2022 , I am sure we will see more than that after the halving
if nothing bad happens 20.000$ should be the realistic price come 2020-2021
probably not the six figures many expecting or equally unrealistic 50-60k , but 200% increase is nothing impossible for bitcoin
but I won't be too surprised if it doesn't make it too, bitcoin price is unpredictable and there are too many things that influence it
and again I would prefer a 10.000$ price in 2022 and a solid growth from there than a temporary spike to 20.000 and years of decline like we saw in 2017

be patient , my friend , they will sort you out soon

I have finally lost my bonus coins that I managed to wager through on sports and made 150k
was relatively lucky with my sports bets ,although the settle speed was left much to be desired, hope they have pushed the update that was supposed to fix that
but  then I discovered   bitbrawlers  Grin was having lots of fun betting on the virtual fights , until I made some very opportunistic bets on a tiny robot-like creatures
guys, do not bet on robots , lol - despite me not testing the withdrawals and losing , I had a lot of fun playing at betroar
if you do not mind some delays , its a cool site to try out and their bitbrawlers game is addictive and easy to make money on ( remember , do not bet on robots and huge unarmed dudes )

158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sale my old bike and buy bitcoin, what do you think? on: December 09, 2019, 02:15:15 PM

I had an old bike and i was purchasing almost two years ago, but one week i have sold my bike and i purchased some bitcoin.
Especially I want holding long time with more patient because i want makes more profitable.
So what do you think ? My decision is worng or right? The upcoming year 2020 give me good profits ??

Notes: basically i am not more expert trading then i keep decision holding is my best way for making more profitable.
Welcome to share your mind.

always interesting to see common people getting introduced into bitcoin HODLing like that
at least you sold something that you wasn't using a lot and that could be dangerous , I have a friend whose brother died because of a bike crash  Sad
as for the making profit part , you cannot be sure with crypto and bitcoin , at least you didn't buy it at 17.000$
there are chances that you make some profit 2020 since the parabolic increase due to the halving will be starting in 2020
but if I were you I would wait a couple of years , 0.18 btc is not something that will bring you riches , if bitcoin goes to the moon ( 6 figures ) this amount could be some tidy sum
ah and yeah , welcome to the club , bud!
159  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: December 09, 2019, 11:24:20 AM
Being an affiliate marketer for a bitcoin casino and being a bankroll investor are basically 2 completely different forms of profit. Usually a person does one or the other and not both.

Not only that. One means investing time and effort, one means investing actual money. I would say the risk is far far bigger in the bankroll investing.

I have had experience in this, and when profits are good, you benefit, but you have to be patient to allow losses to recover because there will always be times when players win big against the casino. But you are right you have to absolutely place trust, if you even have one doubt, do not invest. Keeping money in someone else's pocket is bad enough as a risk but with no insurance whatsoever?

actually , not true ( the bolded statement ) - I do both on one of the casinos , it is not something either or
if you are an affiliate marketer , you bring players to a site and can earn from their commission at the same time profiting from the bankroll investment as well
and reinvesting your commission into bankroll is a good idea because you are gambling with a house advantage on your side
I used to promote other casinos as well but they do not offer investments , or I would have done the same there
it is a matter if you trust this particular casino to make profit for you as an investor and be ready to keep your coins locked for a long period of time
you got to have enough liquidity to be able to spend money on ads and not withdraw your profit immediately
160  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Vs Cryptocurrency, which would you choose? on: December 09, 2019, 09:53:16 AM
the question is strange , do you mean choose like pick one and completely oust the other?
this is not the right thing to do , you should have re-worded it or gave examples of use where  you have to choose one or the other
for example , I can't do without fiat money currently , there are simply no traders or stores that accept cryptocurrencies , so if I choose crypto I'd most likely
starve or won't be able to buy what I want to buy , the world is not ready yeat to get rid of fiat money
but if I had to choose to get my wages in crypto , I'd gladly agree to that
