241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Informed is Your Country's Police About Crypto? on: November 17, 2019, 10:54:32 PM
in almost every country there is a police division that deals with internet related crimes
in Russia it is called unit K , for example , in some other countries there are subdivisions that are dealing with information and are very tech savy
they recruit personnel that know their stuff , many of them ( especially in the countries like the US ) are working for the government after having been caught for cyber related crimes
in Northern Korea hackers and money they get is a part of the GDP and I'm not kidding - they are employed by the government and the proceeds from their attacks are going into the budget
as for the crypto and how our police is equipped to deal with it , I would say if you call them and tell them you had bitcoins stolen
you'd have hard time proving anything since crypto is not legal tender or even defined as asset here , technically , they will open a case since they are obliged to react
but I would not pinch my hopes on anything coming out of it

243  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Lamium.io - Your decentralized, anoymus invoice payment system on: November 17, 2019, 04:29:22 PM
an interesting system , what I don't understand is how the exchange rate is calculated
you say that after payed?? your invoice the exchange risk is taken by the system
despite the broken English I assume that the exchange rate is fixed when you receive the invoice , since I don't care much about the rate when its already paid Smiley
so , how do you calculate the exchange rate? when I send you the invoice you have to convert the amount into one of the cryptocurrencies and ask me to pay it
then you send me the invoice with the same exact amount in crypto according to the current Kraken exchange rate?
and the most important thing , where do the money come from , i.e. how does it show on my statement?
244  Economy / Gambling / Re: Play Simple FOMO Round 2 - Top entrant and last entrant now split the pot evenly on: November 17, 2019, 03:46:47 PM
Simple FOMO Round 2 has ended!

The winner (0xbdc8542fe776f8712afc70b2bd147fdd0115ad54) has claimed a pot size of 6.57275 ETH. This person ended up being both the top entrant and the last player of the game.

so , have you been able to profit ? will there be round 3?
I don't like this sort of games since the one with a larger stash usually has more chances to win
but at least it is something different and the more different games the merrier
consider a different marketing approach , investing 300-500$ into promotion through crypto networks ,banner networks and such could give your game the boost you need
245  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★★★ Bitcoin Video Casino ★★★ - ||| Over 500 BTC in Progressive Jackpots! ||| on: November 17, 2019, 02:23:37 PM
Are there typos with results of the Hallowin-Leader board? Total prize pool is $5000 but the first winners: a0e2b1f03d, won 114.3917 BTC, and the last winner (7c1164764c) won 1.3901 BTC. Results look incorrect.

Hey tbct_mt2,

Those are the users' actual winnings in the games they played that landed them the respective spots on the leaderboard. After which the top 10 on the leaderboard won prizes mentioned on the promo page.

Regards,
BitcoinVideoCasino

I wonder what kind of tournament was that? Was it like tournament to win big in single bet or total winning of users? If it was a single bet winning tournament, why I cant see those winners under the big win list? But it is reasonable if those winners are not on the big win list if it was an overall winning tournament.
Sorry for asking as there is no information about what kind of tournament is that on your site as well as on your announcement in this thread unless I missed it.

this is your average wagering contest , players get prizes for the most wagered on certain games during a period of time
the problem here I see is with the wording they chose
winning is the totally wrong and confusing way to put it , should have been wagered or more descriptive , like total winnings during a session etc.
the leaderboard looks confusing as hell to an average bettor , 115 btc winning, what the heck  Grin
in reality , though , even 115 bitcoins wagered is huge , this means that the player is mathematically 1.5 bitcoins down due to the house edge
and he must have had a huge bank to wager such a big sum in the first place
246  Economy / Economics / Re: Is small business ready to sell for cryptocurrency? on: November 17, 2019, 01:51:26 PM
a very important question in the grand scheme of things
this is what adoption , basically , is - when you can use cryptocurrencies in your day to day life
you wake up , go to your local groceries and buy food and pay in crypto , or you go to a pub after work to have a pint
or you can order a shirt you like in an online shop , all of it would do way more than the newspaper articles saying how good bitcoin is

at the moment small business is definitely not ready to sell for cryptocurrency , heck , even big businesses ( and they should be paving the way , IMHO)
that accept bitcoins are very few and far in between , no household brands are doing it , many have revoked their support , like Steam , for example
as funny as it sounds , Facebook's stillborn Libra could have facilitated the usage of cryptocurrencies , while trying to substitute them with itself
but we all see how vigilant the bankers are to not to allow anyone to try and bite a piece off their pie
it will be very difficult for crypto to enter the retail , but I can see it happen
just not in this decade
247  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Halving Price Prediction $55,000 - $130,000 on: November 17, 2019, 01:38:08 PM
I wonder if the price increase will occur after halving or before? So far, the price increase has always after, but it would not be a surprise to me if this time whales did something different and pump the price before and later dropped it. What do you think guys?
About the level that can rise, for sure between $50k - $100k

the increase everybody is lookinb for , the one with hundreds percents in it usually happens after the halving
but it could as well start rising before the halving too , just not as much
there is no guarantee , historical data is a good source of information , but things could go very differently
any scenario could happen , for example big news before the halvening and the price goes through the roof and then corrected and goes down and so on
248  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Halving Price Prediction $55,000 - $130,000 on: November 16, 2019, 04:22:14 PM
halving does impact the price growth , but it is not a switch-like increase
i.e. the price growth is usually delayed and you can't really say that 500 to 20.000$ growth was due to halving since the events were very far away on the time scale , over 7 months in total
I think that 10-20x increase potential is very real , although the figures could be way less due to the high base value this time
if we start from 7-8.000$ price , we could get to 25-30.000$ after the halving, but the figures like 55-130.000$ while possible
are not too realistic at the moment , but if BAKKT increases volumes and there are more positive contributing factors and faster adoption ,  we could see 100.000$ easily
the problem how sustainable that  level would be and I don't want to see the 10-20k dollars daily price swings if it happens

249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Spammed by 1Sats TX on: November 16, 2019, 02:29:52 PM
don't know if this 1 sat tx spam is the same as before when some of the newly opened marketing companies
decided it was a good idea to take money for spamming databases of bitcoin addresses with 1 sat transactions with advertisement in it:

so , basically , they offer to spam you for a set price while sending hundreds of thousands of transactions contaminating the chain

it seems like Bitmain is making the news more often than not this couple of months
not sure if its the competitors or the company is having issues , but there is not a single month without some sort of a news:

here is the story about an ex CEO , who was "wrongfully fired" , guess there is your another lawsuit
251  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Provably fair dice game 🎲 $1,000 Daily Race💰7-day streak bonus🔥 on: November 16, 2019, 11:48:16 AM
Question about the wagering amount to get to alpha or others,,, is this value going to be fixed when I gamble today or will it fluctuate according to the price of Bitcoin?

For example, today if I wager 1 BTC, it means I have wagered around $8500, but if the price of BTC goes to $1 million in the future, will my level and rakeback increase also?Wink

I'm afraid that right now it is still fluctuating, but we will fix this to be recorded on the time you bet! I'll update you guys on this once we do Smiley

Also, congratulations to today's Top 10!

Oh, no worries,,, I guess I was only asking because I see from other sites that their leveling is fixed at BTC, so those who gambled 5 years ago of course can easily get 100 BTC wagering value, whereas today if you wager $10k worth of bets, in most other casinos you would be a high level but even 1 BTC these days at most crypto sites is a low to mid level;)

Thanks for the response;)
Yeah, I did something similar before as well, primedice used to have a level up deal (something different from the current place but it was also similar too) and I gambled at lower levels when bitcoin was really low and I reached to a level where I was literally getting 10k satoshi faucets which was amazing because all it took was a one 10x win to get there.

After a while I realized the price was going up and I couldn't gamble as well as I used to and the price was too high but my level was still high and I was still getting a lot, so now I got 10k satoshi faucet but I wasn't gambling even 10k satoshi after a while. Same thing happened with a ton of places, you gamble with bitcoin when it is 100-200-500 dollars but it reaches to 10k and now people can't gamble that much but you still have that VIP.

god old times , when Primedice's faucet was 10k , sigh
but to reach that 100 btc wasn't enough ( wagered of course) , I had twice as much wagered and only got to 4.000 or something like that
I know players who had 10.000 satoshi faucets and they usually didn't bother with it initially , since they were highrollers and gambled in coins , not satoshi
certainly , it was 2014-2015-2016 when bitcoin was cheap , but even then 1000$ for a coin meant that to wager 200 bitcoins , you had to lose around 2 coins to the HE
and 2000$ to level your faucet up didn't seem like a good idea   Grin
in any case ,those days are gone and casinos are trying to get rid or revamp the faucets and give their whales a different stimulus ,
VIP benefits, rakebacks , cashbacks , lotteries and whatnot - almost every casino has it and it looks like its a must nowadays for a site to survive as you have to take care of your premium sector players and try to retain them
252  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 0.4 BTC Wagering Contest 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: November 16, 2019, 11:28:53 AM
~snip~
Set aside your personal views or dislikes with BCH in other places because if you do try to look on most gambling sites nowadays
it do really have that BCH option. You either love or hate it,theres nothing much you can do since its their choice to include it into their system.
You can choose any coins you do like though and dont bother yourself on using BCH.Not really much a serious matter though.

awtz . thats is one straight to the point coment there you got mate jaja  . chill man .. i know the feels .  on the past i also seen couple of people that complain about the suported coins of one gambling site. they say things like this and that blah blah  but instead of making the story long , why can they just be happy that a gambling site support those altcoins ( several altcoins ) instead of sticking on one coin and besides that is the request of majority of people , not only by them that who complain  .

Well when in fact these gambling sites do not support one coin, but various coins. It is these people who create problems that should not be questioned or even not important. So just enjoy the game and get profit from the game, there's no need to worry about something you don't like if the one you like is still available. huh

strange people  Grin if you dislike BCH , do not use it
I don't like BCH , if I see a site that has only ONE currency and that is BCH
I'm certainly not going to be betting there , since my BCH usage is limited and I prefer different altcoins
but I understand that many others use BCH and deposit and play , so Windice gives them an opportunity to do that without resorting to exchanges
its simple if you  dislike something - do not use it , you don't come to a restaurant and walk up to a dude eating broccoli and complain about how you dislike broccoli  Cheesy
tastes differ in cryptocurrencies as much as they differ in everything else
253  Economy / Gambling / Re: introduction on: November 16, 2019, 10:24:14 AM
whats wrong? website is down or country is blacklisted?

I noticed that your website doesn't have any SSL .why?Isn't it risky without SSL?

Are you opening the right site ? The URL is https://www.zanzibet.com/ and it is opening at my end without any issues. You need to recheck the domain name. Secondly the site is also SSL secured.

He might live on a country which are blocked by this site. As https://www.zanzibet.com/en/terms-conditions it mentions

Quote
2.     Blacklisted Territories
NetEnt content shall not be served in the following territories:
Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Angola, Australia, Bahamas, Botswana, Cambodia, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guyana, Hong Kong, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Kuwait, Laos, Myanmar, Namibia, Nicaragua, North Korea, Pakistan, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Taiwan, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Uganda, Yemen, Zimbabwe.

I just tried to open this site from Pakistan and it got opened without any difficultly. I do not understand if it is blocked in these countries how i am able to open the site ? When i try to make an account there, it evens shows my country name in the "Country list"  Cheesy, so how this Blacklisted Territories works ?

blacklisted countries usually are blocked on IP basis , but many sites fail to identify it correctly
so your geolocation could be Pakistan but you show as a different country to their software
if I were you I would not gamble at the site ,simply because in addition to their draconian KYC policies
you are most likely to get banned even if you send them KYC ( thats if you manage to win there , of course ) and they will have the right to do so because it says in their TOS
but once again , if your country is blocked you should not be able to access the site first place , they must fix this or explain their policies in regards to the blacklisted countries better
maybe this blacklist is working for  certain providers like Netent above , or maybe it is a global list ,I cba to dig through their TOS thoroughly , to be brutally honest with you
there are plenty non KYC bitcoin accepting casinos around ,why bother
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investment on: November 15, 2019, 02:24:47 PM
as in every aspect of your day to day life - use your brain
investing in bitcoin is similar to investing in any asset , only bitcoin is way more volatile and this could mean either big profit
or a substantial loss if you enter the market at the wrong time or decide to sell on the low
people tend to hear that buying bitcoin is "trendy" and they hear stories like OP posted about a guy who sold everything and his dog to buy bitcoins and became rich
then , without doing any research , they succumb to the almighty FOMO and buy something they have a very vague idea about
after a while , the price drops and shows no sign of recovery , they get discouraged and sad and sell low and now bitcoin is a pyramid and a scam to them
do not be one of those, use your brains and common sense , do research and buy bitcoin with the money you can afford to invest or spend
255  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you use FB's Libra? on: November 15, 2019, 02:01:59 PM
so there will be soon no point in discussing this at all
with every day that passes this coin is more and more unlikely to launch:
at least six members of the consortium are out already and more to come it seems , PayPal, eBay, Visa and Mastercard were the first to jump the ship
and without their support it is not going to happen for sure , since the central bankers see the threat and would not allow it
to me it seems that Facebook thought they would strike a deal and try to become one of the privileged  , but something went wrong
most likely that the shadow governments and central banksters simply do not want any competition and any attempt to become one of them by some upstart is destined to fail

It would be interesting to see if anybody is going to show a legit interest in your data/strategy. If that's the case then I suppose there's no salvation for them!
I understand that you must try it and see where it can lead to but honestly it is those who fall for it that I'm quite worried about.

I'm showing a legit interest Smiley
following the bets and checking them , so far OP does better than the average "prophet" here at bitcointalk
they usually promise 10000% return and disappear after 2-3 failed bets in a row
at least here I can see some strategy , wherever or not it is successful only the time and betting will tell
don't be worried for people who , as you put it, fall for this - they should use their own brains and do not bet blindly
257  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 0.4 BTC Wagering Contest 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: November 13, 2019, 02:56:27 PM
No hard feels. Ripple and XRP are actually not the same thing but belong to the same CEO. However, the last time I checked most crypto gambling site barely accept XRP due to its status in the market and I believe gambling add coin base on their user opinion with the coin level of profitable in the market.
Weldone Windice for adding more coin.

I agree to disagree - most of the top sites have support for XRP
it happened to be the newest coin added on Stake and it is extremely popular among the HR bettors
at least a decent amount of highrollers bets are made in ripple , you can see for yourself
Bitsler added XRP long time ago and other sites have support too , namely cryptogames and duckdice , from the top of my head
every new coin added means new gamblers and , potentially , new whales , playing
this is why some sites introduce relatively unknown and not so popular coins , simply because there are not many places yet  that accept it and there is a high chance a whale or a miner starts to play and brings profit to the casino
258  Bitcoin / Press / [2019-11-12] Bitcoin Mining IPO Could be the New Gold Rush on: November 12, 2019, 05:51:41 PM
This is going to be very interesting:
Two bitcoin mining giants are fighting for the US market.
Bitcoin mining giants Bitmain Technologies and Canaan Creative seem to have found a new area of competition — launching a U.S. IPO. Both companies are set to go head to head in trying to one-up the other in what could be the first-ever crypto-related public offering in the United States.

Both companies had a rough 2018 with bear markets and failed IPO attempts in China affecting them. Canaan's reported net revenue for the first 9 months of 2019 was less than a half of what it was the year earlier and Bitmain closing down its Israeli office and laying off 50 percent of its workforce.
Nevertheless ,their chip prepayments to TSMS have increased , so this could be a signal for recovery.

259  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EarnBet.io - Licensed Casino Platform 🎲Provably Fair 🎲NOW ACCEPTING BTC ₿ on: November 12, 2019, 03:26:35 PM
This thread should be about gambling, not about the nonsense license, shareholder, etc. Any of that shit already "discussed" in the past, therefore no need to feed the scammer anymore. This situation exactly how GP extorts casinos on this board.

As for EarnBet, I rarely play on this casino anymore even though the HiLo game is fun to play. Honestly, I'm bored with dice and card games and pretty much only play slots at the moment. You guys don't get bored with these games? Seriously?

as long as OP's and posters respond instead of ignoring his/her posts altogether , this will continue

how can you get bored with dice?  Cheesy dice is amazing, the perfect game if you want it fast and simple
Hilo is good but I prefer the Stake's version , to be honest , as you can swap cards at will there unlike only the first one at earnbet.io
I love dice here , it is smooth and fast and looks unique but 1.5% house edge is what makes it not the optimal choice, the standard is 1%

don't think there will be too many "lucky" depositors since you position yourself as a bitcoin casino
yet holding the right to quote : VIPCoin Casino reserves the right to request additional verification procedures for any payout exceeding the equivalent of 0.1 Bitcoin, and further reserves the right to carry out such verification procedures in case of lower payouts
so KYC procedures for amounts >900$ and even lower , with MLA compliance and all that jazz
do you run KYC on every account that takes advantage of the freespins or deposit bonus offers?
