Are there still no news if and when AMD cards will be ready to mine the Phi2 algo?

Is there a phi2 miner for AMD cards already?

Can someone give a list of serious pools to mine under the new algo?

Is it necessary to upgrade to the new wallet version 4.2? What are the differences to the previous version? Can someone tell me where the software announcement post is?

If anyone wants to trade some LUX for BTC without having to send it to cryptopia before BTC is at zero, I will sell you 1 lux for 1 BTC straight across.
I will be the loser on that trade very soon, as LUX just may have a use, but BTC is just a coin.

can you send me a btc first and I'll send you a LUX in return to see if your offer is legit?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: March 07, 2018, 05:10:12 PM
I've seen someone mining LUX coin with this mining software: ccminer/alexis-1.0
Usually, everyone uses SPMOD1 for lux, can anyone tell me the difference between these?

I just started to mine on your pool. What a pleasure to see that the stats of the mining rigs are online nearly instantly, no need to wait for 20minutes like with nanopool.
Let's see how the performance will be in the LUX mining team.
What I would like to suggest is, that you change the font of the website to the font you use in the graphs that display the hashrate. It looks much more modern and appealing than the old serif thing everyone's used to.
An indicator/counter showing me when the site has been updated the last time would also be nice to see in the top corner on the right next to my hashrate.

* MOST mining pool operators are to dump to run a pool. If you want a reliable pool operated by persons who know what they do switch over to yiimp, zpool or unimining. Pickle Rick. All others are crap, indeed most of them were trained by us & redirected all their questions to us!

Many thanks for your great post and thanks that you share your experience with others. Time to remove altminer.net from the bat file...

What's your opinion on OmegaPool?

In the first post, there's still the link to wallet version 4.0.1. and not 4.2, you should maybe update that one

Any update on the staking front? Is an entire new wallet coming out or will the current wallet just start staking in the near future?

I'm also interested when and how staking will work with the new wallet. Any updates?

Decentralization is the key  Wink

You should post a premade bat.file with all the different pools available and auto switch between all those
then we would only need to put in our wallet address and even the lazy ones will mine on multiple pools

Vote for DeepOnion to List on Eucoin.io

Great job creating a guide on how to vote at Eucoin. It could be a little confusing for some.

Don't you also need to put in your email address? I think checking two boxes is not that difficult however Wink

I'll give zergpool a shot after I figure out why it displays my wallet in BTC...
Unimining seem to have corrected values, now it's lower then bsod...

Unimining is several factors lower overall LUX hashrate, so could be an outlier (lucky 24 hours timespan), will monitor a bit while testing another pool and if Unimining stays outperforming others - give it a shot.

Had same issue. Sent ~600Mh their way, got about 3.65 average only. Retesting with a different pool. Sometimes whattomine is off in their calculations, even if you factor in harder difficulty than in reality (I always add 10% difficulty for good measure).

Tried to mine LUX on bsod.pw but seem to get really low amount. For my 400MH I should get currently about 3 coins, but was able to get only 2.2 after 24h. On bsod estimated earning is about 0.0019 mBTC/day/Mh but pool stats tell different: only 0.0013 (I earned that), how come there's such a difference?
Is this related to orphaned blocks?

Seems like https://www.unimining.net/ is most profitable pool @ 0.0018 mBTC/Mh/day. But that's weird, how come http://yiimp.eu/ has 0.0016 then? I don't get this... Both are big pools, so where hashrate goes?

i tried all pools , yiimp , unimining , altminer , bosd. they all give less than the profit i should get by a lot.

Are you sure that you're doing your calculations with the LUX hashrate and not the ethereum hashrate for your cards.

Making the last changes to my first DeepOnion video! Stay tuned!
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook is banning all ads that promote cryptocurrencies on: January 31, 2018, 05:27:44 PM
I'm very happy that they took this step. There's not one serious crypto add that I saw on Facebook! The "good" COINS AND ico's don't need to run a apid campaign on Facebook, only shitcoins were advertising on FB and Instagram trying to make idiots throw their money away.

In the past few days I've noticed that the quantity of onions I'm getting through staking has increased considerably. Did it happen also to others? Anyone has an explanation? I'm not complaining of course, but I'd be curious to understand the reasons...
You using new wallet? Because I read about new wallet updates, also network update and so on may be the reason. I'm also getting much more and much faster Wink

There's maybe just a lucky week or two, I staked 1,6 onions last week at a time, that was pretty nice
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LUXCoin—New PHI1612 PoW/PoS Hybrid—PrivateSend—LUXNodes—Live on Cryptopia on: January 29, 2018, 01:43:32 AM
Temporary workaround: transfer your coins to a new wallet instance to reduce the number of txes/coin inputs. It will reset your stake weight but will remove lag.
Thanks for your patience!
The problem is that the wallet is lagging so heavily that this is not possible, I mined to my wallet and I guess that the hundreds of small transactions cause it to lag heavy.
I'll keep waiting for the update and hope it will be back to normal soon.

I'm trying to make a backup of my wallet but the desktop application is so laggy that I can't even make a propper backup. When is the new wallet coming? The current one became absolutely useless Sad

I would've preferred if merit woul've been distributeed according to our activity and not our member rank, I missed 150 merit because I'm 2 or 3 weeks late to rank up
not cool
