1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: future of NEO on: April 10, 2019, 04:33:42 PM
Undoubtedly, the potential market for the project is huge, but it is not yet clear whether NEO can become the number one platform for developers in China and other countries. If the project can become the most popular platform for creating smart contracts among Chinese developers, as well as conduct a number of successful and sought-after ICOs, there may be room for growth. However, potential technological difficulties should be taken into account, not to mention the threat of increased government regulation in China.

Someone has remarked on Discord that Xbank seems to have still major problems in the front-end. How do we know that there are not problems also on the back-end? In other words, how do we know that funds will be safe there since the team is apparently struggling in a relatively simple task like to have the front-end working properly?
What kind of security guarantees do you want? If you do not trust Xbank, then keep your funds in your wallet. If you're talking about the distribution of airdrop, then no one bothers to transfer the coins into your wallet after receiving it.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What today you can buy for the crypto? on: March 24, 2019, 09:49:49 PM
Considering the latest trends, it can be noted that cryptocurrency has strengthened its position and gradually occupies the retail trade sector. There are more and more outlets on the world map ready to accept Bitcoin as a means of payment. The CIS countries are not far behind, where Bitcoin is also gradually turning into a full payment instrument.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can the global crisis affect crypto? on: March 16, 2019, 09:36:42 PM
As a rule, during the financial crisis, banks are rapidly losing the confidence of ordinary citizens. As a result, people will look for new assets for investment, no longer trusting money. This is where cryptocurrency should loudly declare itself and offer its services as a reliable means of storing savings. So far, in this matter, gold still looks like a more reliable option. But so far, the time to change the situation, cryptocurrency is still enough.

X-Bank Phone verification update

COO: X-CASH_Paul

"We have resumed the phone verification process to enable you to register to the airdrop.

You will find that some country codes are missing from the list.

Because of the abuse of some people registering with temporary numbers and flooding the system, our system was bloated and some users were unable to register. We decided to take the most affecting country out until we find a suitable solution to tackle this issue, while leaving the possibility to a vast majority to register. New country coverage will be added over time.

We will not take request to add new countries as we will work in the background to add them on our own time

While the phone verification process might be disabled for some countries, you will still be able to access your X-Bank account and use the basic services.

Because of that, we are delaying the end of the registration period to  21.03.2019 to make up for the lost time."
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks disappear because of cryptocurrency? on: March 15, 2019, 11:03:39 PM
I think that banks are unlikely to disappear. Most likely, the banking system will be able to integrate into the world of cryptocurrencies and they will complement each other.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized vs centralized cryptocurrency exchanges, which one is better? on: March 15, 2019, 10:17:22 PM
Is not to say that some kind of crypto exchange is better or worse. Each of them was created to solve their problems. If you are worried about the safety of your personal data and anonymity - trade on decentralized exchanges. In any case, before trading on any crypto exchange, read the news and customer reviews about it.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrencies be able to use for payment? on: March 14, 2019, 11:24:23 PM
Cryptocurrency, at this stage, is already capable of performing the basic function of money, being a means of accumulation. And if completely solve the problems of scalability and regulation, they will replace traditional money and may become the main form of payment in the next decade.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will survive on: March 14, 2019, 10:47:36 PM
Now cryptocurrencies are experiencing a deep crisis and it is natural. A bear period does not mean the death of the market, this is just the next stage of its development. If a few years ago, the practical use of blockchain projects was cautious, now we can say with confidence: the blockchain technology has firmly entered everyday life and is not going to go anywhere.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the Future of Ethereum? on: March 13, 2019, 11:15:20 PM
Ethereum platform is an innovative solution in the field of cryptocurrency. She was the first to provide a convenient tool for the implementation of decentralized applications, and to this day she is the leader in this matter. In the next year or two, serious improvements are planned, which will directly affect the course of ETH. Believe that in any case ETH has a serious fundamental implication for growth.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is too complicated on: March 13, 2019, 10:50:45 PM
Cryptocurrency is very difficult? And no! Everything is simple, maybe a little unusual, but not difficult. I think that already in the first quarter of the 21st century, we can expect a period of intense cryptorevolution. And the sooner you join it - the better.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is there still future for digital currency? on: March 13, 2019, 12:02:26 AM
The technology of blockchain and cryptocurrency has entered the modern world and will not disappear anywhere. Blockchain is already used by economically leading countries, corporations, individual communities, and simply modern people. We are witnessing a story that will radically change not only the financial sector, but also the relations of the state with citizens.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should ICOs be regulated on: March 12, 2019, 11:19:37 PM
After all, now it is not a secret to anyone that the ICO market is flooded with scammers. And that is why today, many ICO projects have failed, and investors have suffered serious losses. I think that in the near future it will be the regulation and tightening of the rules for ICO that will become more ambitious,
and countries will begin to interact with each other in these matters.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Smart contracts: Hyped or Useful? on: March 11, 2019, 11:58:41 PM
If the system of smart contracts is complicated, then we can build many different systems for different fields of activity: insurance, registration and transfer of property, lending, crowdfunding, and so on.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you monitor your crypto portfolio? on: March 11, 2019, 11:19:57 PM
I used to use Blockfolio, then switched to Cryptocompare. I didn’t regret it, I liked it much more because of my capabilities and a wide range of tools for portfolio management. And for short-term purchases / sales with Cryptocompare, I use CoinTracking. My friend uses Delta as an alternative to Blockfolio. He speaks, that it is really better in many ways. Here I think to try it for comparison.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Gaming and It's Future on: March 10, 2019, 11:26:04 PM
There is no reason to doubt that blockchain gaming is inevitable. After all, the possible advantages for the gaming industry are quite obvious. And the opportunities that will open up are truly incredible. The question is whether developers can fully use blockchain technology for games, or will it be another HYIP to collect money.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to check if ICO is scam or not? on: March 08, 2019, 11:09:37 PM
New projects with promising prospects arise every day. Therefore, before investing, be careful when participating in such projects, do not take promises for granted, take seriously any unanswered question. Do your own research and follow your intuition to stay safe.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Predictiing Cryptocurrency price.. Is it possible? on: March 08, 2019, 10:37:55 PM
I think it is almost impossible. The cryptocurrency market is extremely volatile: jumps in digital money courses sometimes defy logic, and the situation can completely change in a few hours. The crypto market is volatile and sometimes lives by its own rules, so even the most experienced traders and successful analysts are easily mistaken in their forecasts.
