Anybody see these logging entries in their A3?
And then it looks like it is resetting the hashboards... I checked all the cables... No obvious fan issues.
No Sorry mouse, are you seeing any other issues with the miner, loss of hash rates etc?? Or just noticing these and getting concerned? I see other things, but it looks like it is operational. I have had two occasions of hash rate suddenly completely dropping off to nearly zero. First time I was at my PC and just restarted the miner. Today I was at work when I noticed it drop in the siamining GUI but it recovered by itself. Went to check the kernel logs because I was curious as to the reason. Could you tell me please which pool are you mining at? My current pool doesnt have any GUI interface, it is just my address so in fact I can't check online the status of mining. This is very useful when you are away. I cant find any GUI friendly sia mining pool so I would appreciate if you could give me a hint? OK doesnt matter anymore . I found a GUI , it is hidden but very detailed. Just use https://siamining.com ...

You can ask just to send back the defect hashboard for repairs. That way you can still mine with the working part. Unfortunately, in the ASIC mining space quality is not a key requirements, quick go to market is...

Switch pools , Sia Devs are at war with Bitmain , just like Dash
I'm on siamining... what other pool do you recommend? hi, would it be possible if you can help me with your A3 archive please... thanks sorry I do not have that and am away from my A3 to create one for you. There's a few usernames earlier in the thread that helped out, maybe PM them for best results...

Anybody else experience a collapse in mining speed / ASICs going offline this morning around 00.30 EDT? Looked the same as the dip the day before and I can see it in the global hash rate graph on siamining as well (smallish compared to earlier).
After a reboot all was fine again. Maybe my A3 crapping out or ... ?

Yeah I saw my hash rate dropped like crazy as well for a while, so it was not the Chinese internet being turned off.
|
|
|
I got my popcorn ready..this is going to be fun to watch over the next few days. Currently about 100 A3's being turned on per hour...looks like a big farm in china is coming online. Hash will be over 10EH by end of the month. I think someone just turned the power off in China, -10% hash rate ;-)

|
|
On siamining the hash rate went from 944TH to 1000TH in just 1,5 hour. I'm guessing A3's are being powered up like crazy everywhere

Hi,
I received my A3 and I have only one board working! did you face that?
Any idea how to fix this? Try unplugging the boards and running them one by one. Most likely you have something loose. Also check if you have enough power. I've had bad and loose connectors on PSU's as well, might just want to move them around, give them a proper inspection.

Just got my A3 in, nice piece of work by Bitmain! Similar to an L3+ in build. First impression is that it runs more quiet than the L3+ and definitely more quiet than an S9.

|
|
Waiting for my A3 - DHL - status from Monday 22 Jan "Shipment information received". How long do you think before I get it?
You'll get an SMS with URL to pay for import duties (400-something euro). After that 4 to 5 days to your front door.

Can you please try this wallet HVaXkEtKbQU4GUHNMpxJLiduLvMgQM7gDQ
Connected to stratum+tcp://classic.moopool.nl:3032
The address is valid according to the HTML5 wallet (Open Debug window, go to "console" and type "validateaddress X"), however I do not see you connected to the pool right now, although you did submit shares: Pool htmlclassic Thread 1 Authorized HVaXkEtKbQU4GUHNMpxJLiduLvMgQM7gDQ:x [136.X] Pool htmlclassic Thread 1 Share accepted at diff 1/1.35049818 by HVaXkEtKbQU4GUHNMpxJLiduLvMgQM7gDQ [136.X]
All looks good!

Guys, full disclosure. The Saiacoin network was 650 TH without any ASIC. Each A3 is almost a full Th. I think regardless of units sold, the end result should be obvious. My most lofty goal was to hopefully pay for the unit in a reasonable time and hoard SC because I think it has a chance to flourish. The damn thing is only 4.5 cents or somewhere near that. This should never have been a "mining profitability" play in anyone's mind.
Addresses in Asian side have received these A3 miners today. Base hash rate one week ago is about 550 TH/s and currently it's about 700 TH/s. Probably 180-200 A3 delivered and powered up today causing steep increase from 520 TH/s to 700 TH/s within past 24 hours. Probably combined global hash rate will be at at 900 - 1200 TH/s within next 48 hours when remainder of first batch starts to arrive. Halving of profitability is inevitable within this week rapidly. At average of USD90-100/day of a month yield, A3 can ROI within 30 days. With limited distribution, probably within 3 months this guy can still make USD20-30/month. Provided crypto price did not crash severely. But the fact that difficulty adjustment of SC changes on every block, above assumption probably totally incorrect. Doesn't the Baikal Giant B also do the blake2b algo? Those are 80GH/s or so it seems... http://www.baikalminer.com/product10.php#b
