1  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [8500 GH/s] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + UserDiff; ASIC tested on: May 14, 2013, 07:43:33 PM
Weird - I've kind of been doing the same thing.  Perhaps we should collaborate.

I love that "Last 24 Hours" you've got in there. You 2 should definitely collaborate :-D
2  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER ASIC FPGA GPU overc monit fanspd RPC linux/win/osx/mip/r-pi 3.1.0 on: April 30, 2013, 10:14:25 PM
It's all the the README
"platform" "gpu map"
(and if you are trying to mine on nVidia also you are wasting your time)
Sorry I can't read the README for you and transfer it to your brain.
And I wont read it for you either.

If you look closely when you read the README it also tells you how to make money (seriously)
Thank you for referring me back to the README. I'm not sure why I didn't understand it before but I think the card may be bad :-( cgminer just crashes now when I try to run it for the AMD platform. GUIMiner also tells me "Verification failed, check hardware! (1:0:Cypress, cabfe75b)"

Thanks again!

I'm so sorry to bug everyone but if I could get some help trying to get a Radeon HD 5870 mining I would be eternally greatful. I've been told I have a weird setup.

That is potentially embezzlement; a felony in many countries.  Have fun with that....
Not if I have permission.

Can anyone help me get the stratum-mining-proxy setup to allow outside connections go through?

Trying to use a work PC to mine and my work place has a firewall, so I thought that it might be nice if I were able to use the mining proxy to get by it.

Slush you are the man I was able to get in and I've started hashing again. Thank you for your continued hard work!!!

Actually the server's down again, and you'll eventually get DC'd anyway.

Let's not forget slush charges a fee to use his pool, this isn't some charity case.  Why all the ass-kissing?
Because even though there is a 2% fee he still uses his time on this and he doesn't have to. He could just mine for another pool or anything that he wanted to do. With everyone breathing down his throat I thought maybe it would be nice to let him know that some one else appreciates his time and effort that he puts in to this.

Do you know that cpu mining is, like, useless, right?
Yeah I know but I have free electricity on this PC so I thought I might be able to get some hashes solved and get a little credit for it  Tongue

Well the site says that my home miners have shares coming in. I wonder if this is a Firewall issue. For grins and giggles I tried to use another pool and it said the same thing:

Code:

Oh ok because it looks like my miners at home are still pounding away... maybe he just can't accept new connections but if you got in during a break in the attack your ok?
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Slush's pool actively refusing IP on: April 17, 2013, 12:42:39 PM
Not sure if anyone from Slush's pool will see this but why are my two new workers being actively refused by the pool?
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's your Mhash/s? (Pissing contest here) on: April 17, 2013, 12:32:23 PM
I'm getting about 80 - 90Mh/s with dual GTX260 cards.
