You can't predict future but very soon cash will not exist. Banks and governments will always have a control over legal adopted currenty wether you like it or not. It certainly won't be the bitcoin.
I don't see it happening by 2030 since crypto still needs time until it gets fully recognised. It will take a long time for governments to adopt it because everything moves at slow pace and there are huge interests behind all of that.
lol. you said, you can't predict the future and predicted that cash will be non-existent soon, how ironic. Well my stand on this is simple, if we are going to have a cashless society, a full cashless society then we will be needing the blockchain for transaction records and a well established stable coin completely backed by what? If it's fiat then might as well we should not do it anymore. If we are going to have the society we want, I guess it's better to backed it with something that has a intrinsic value like gold coin and bars and let the government do the regulations. I don't know where you live but cash is getting abandoned and payments are mainly done by credit cards and through banking services. Some countries already have a plan of removing cash in the near future. Main goal is obiviously to affect black market, tax evasion, have all transactions on record and full control over someone.

Youtube is not what it used to be. It has killed and still kills a lot of genuine content creators. YT is turning into TV money making machine and long term they will get burned for that.

He can dump it and I will buy some. CW lies but in the end I doesen't really matter.
For Bitcoin it's doesen't change anything. Dumps happened and they will happen in the future but that doesen't matter for the Bitcoin because it doesen't affect it in any destructive way. There are whales in the market who can manipulate the price but they are in stock market and everywhere so nothing spectacular. I sleep well as a Bitcoin investor and often I don't even check the price or what is happening in the market. Similar like with gold. On the other hand stocks, altcoins and smaller projects that depend on certain group action, can easily be manipulated in destructive way.

me and @fezington warned you about this project but people get greedy and hyped. Anyone who checked this project more deeply could understand that this was a scam. Game was a coverup joke that they didn't spend more than $1k on it and it never had more than 10 players peek. If they did that with real currency instead of crypto they would be in jail by now.

I saw that some of bounty managers using the incentive scheme for members which have additional merit points.
I think, when most of the managers will implement such scheme then it will have a positive effect on the forum. This is a good first step, but ideally we should be reaching a stage where members with no earned merits aren't accepted at all. However, there are just too many bounty campaigns for trash projects that are more than happy to pay out their worthless token for any old barely-comprehensible spam, and short of making a forum-wide rule, this ideal situation will never happen. It's also worth pointing out that the example you quoted comes from one of yahoo62278's campaigns. There is a handful of very good campaign managers on this forum that don't accept spammers regardless of merit earned, and he is one of them. Again, there is no way we can expect for all the trash managers to live up to this standard. I agree with you. Quality managers will eventually accept members that have certain merit/post payout scheme. There will be always trash campaigns who will look for those low quality shitposters because they can do it for cheap and for campaign owner signature views are only thing that matter. But there is another problem that could from by this type of campaign which is called merit gangs. I would rather like to see moderated bounty campaigns where owners have to specify unified rules given by the forum staff. I think that would hurt shitposters.

What is the point of arguing with them? Whatever you tell them they will continue with ignorance. Same like religin, there are so many religions and gods and jet people beleve that their god is the only one. But infact religion was used throughout whole history to keep spirit and discipline. (It was important and usefull for kingdoms in the past, nowdays just money scam) Let people beleve whatever they want to. If someone feels fulfilled with that, great for them. There will always be all different kinds of people and beliefs and that is great, imagine how boring world would be if everyone thought the same.
In this case with flat earth it is ignorat but first before arguing with that you need to step back and look from their perspective, what would make someone think that and on a such a level that there are so many of them. I would give a short answer by saying: failed education, government issues, influencial people affecting large masses, proffesional trolls (that make use of it) etc. When you combine all of that you get the perfect formula. Earth is globe!PS. This post was sponsored by Illuminati

Well done! Instead of copy-paste you could have posted source link and say something about it.

The shitpost house's rent is probably paid from the proceeds of the shitposting, and there's probably a shitpost pimp overseeing everyone and making sure the mucus-dribbling desperates are cranking out enough shitposts to meet whatever the quota is. I imagine such a place is part brothel, part call center, part boiler room scam center. The shitpost houses probably smell like sweat and some kind of hot spice, and there are probably bunk beds and/or sleeping bags all over the place.
Anyone else ever have that kind of perception about where all this spam comes from?
This reminds me of Microsoft Indian Tech Support houses if you have ever watched trolling scams on youtube. I would think more of it that those "pimps" are ICO campaign owners who allow such behaviour and reward them. I mean there are a lot of good threads but they get overrun by them and later on nobody bothers to reply because thread is in mess. I guess that this thread can be locked now since there are multiple evidences for plagiarism.

LOL, you write posts like this, and that's only one of a few I can see, probably because the rest of your posts are in spam mega threads or in the bounty sections. Though you don't get banned for it, your English isn't good enough to be understood without having to make assumptions about what you're trying to say. And honestly, if you wrote your posts in plain English they still wouldn't be good because they're not constructive. They're just generic statements about simple things that everyone knows about. But I betcha it's plagiarism anyway. Shitposters just can't keep from resorting to copying other people's posts or content from the internet in order to make their campaign quota. But we'll see. Psst.. Don't thell them. Bots will learn and adapt in the future because of you. I have just been reading some interesting threads by OP (not this OP) and I can tell you that my head hurts It grinds my gears when I read topic and there are just so many unconstructive posts by shitposters. Even old legendary accounts... my head literary hurts and I need to take a break from this forum every time I read this nosense for too long.

I don't really like to speculate because it is very inaccurate especialy long-term but that being said. Today I was playing with graphs, lines, averages, I was reasearching history and I have came with something very close to what OP has suggested. I think that we have just stepped into Bear market and we will be there for the next 2-3 years until we start to see progress in price action.
We have to remember what a crazy run we have had in 2017 until 2018. Market needs to take a break and settle down. People need to recover from all that hype, ICOs, and high emotions. Whales have left the Bear market in search for new profits instead of sitting here, making losses while HODLing. Smart traders don't like to have funds sitting around doing nothing. If history repeats by 2022-23 we could see new ATH at around 120k. (very rough number) It is so difficult to know with crypto because everything is still so new and potential is enormous. Imagine when we will look at 20k ATH chart and compare it to that from 2014 which now looks barely visible on chart.
I hope that I get suprised like I did when BTC surpassed 10k. Whatever happens I love BTC and blockchain because it is unique. I was using BTC since almost early days because of it's technology and this is why now I feel confident about it's future.
EDIT: I am saving this post so in the future we can all have laugh at it.

I would like to see harsher punishments for serial shitposters - at the moment, having one or two of their posts deleted is irrelevant when the can churn out a new one-liner in 2 minutes. Serial offenses should result in escalating lengths of ban. Similarly, there needs to be punishment for bounty managers who are paying these shitposters, again with serial offenders resulting in escalating bans, and the worst offending projects having their entire ANN threads removed.
Instead of moderators wasting their time on removing low quality content as someone has suggested It would be more convinient to either give them negative merit as I suggested or temp ban them, maybe perma ban use of signature. But as you say bounty managers should be pressed to up their requirements for bounty and not reward spamming.

I doubt that. They'll just create more accounts to continue spamming.
I agree with that they can create new accounts for bumping but at the same time that is the only thing they will have. About restrictions for new accounts... I don't think that normal user would notice it. There are certain patterns that shitposters follow.
Bitcointalk already tried to implement a "karma" system that was abandoned. The problem with a karma system that gives out negative merit is that whistleblowers are likely to accumulate a bunch of negative karma when they take on the perpetrators.
I understand your concern but that could be aimed specificly on the OP while the rest would be unaffected. So if I make this shitty thread and you all report it, moderator removes it and I would get negative activity or merit while the rest of you would just lose post count.
For about a year of my existence on this forum, only Vod and digaran's signature caught my attention.
This is the point if signature does not catch your attention it means that it is too saturated. It defeats the purpose of advertisment. But my main reason of removing sig from low ranks is to disencourage joining forum just for those campaigns.

I have been around this forum for some time and even though I am not very active I just like to read about crypto and learn about potential trade opportunitys. That being said I find it difficult to read constructive thread without someone junk posting and causing disruption. I started to use this forum mainly because of quality opinions on projects that I consider investing in.
There are just so many low quality posts that sometimes makes me feel as if nobody reads the topic but rather just rambles non constructive answer based on topic title. I have noticed a lot of times when bot would pick up year old topic and suddenly low quality members would just post nosense without ever reading topic or realising that it is dead. Another annoying thing that I feel might be more easy to solve are new members or low rank members who advertise scam, post refferals or act as bumps. I that it would be a good idea to add further limitations. Rank | Newbie | - Should not be able to open their own topics, should not be able to post links, with current 360s between posts they should also have daily limit. | | Jr.Member | - Should not have signature or personal text, longer time between posting, daily limit on new threads and posts. | | Member | - Should not have signature |
With cutting off new profiles from easy access to basic features it should demotivate some of the people who like to spam links or participate in bounty campaigns. In addition I would like to see feature that would act as merit/activity karma which would reduce members merit or karma every time their post/thread gets removed. By that I don't mean losing stats gained by the specific thread but rather penalty that would punish members for low quality content. This would have effect on all ranks and make you think twice before posting. All current spam defeats the purpose of sig campaigns in the first place. I remember that if I find someone making a quality post/s I would check their other threads, I would check signature because I build expectation of this person making quality decisions while in the other hand nowdays you have shitposters who probably barely earn anything and main reason is just that because nobody will ever get interested to check someones sig or website if all of their content is junk.

well that's a good plan but I am not willing to use it because I would rather stick to the rules and again i am asking about the reason for an account to be autobanned that's why i didn't add my profile I don't understand. Did you or did you not have an account that was autobanned? His profile is https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=riosakamoto in case you didn't see hyperlink.

I am asking about the reason for an account to get autobanned, that's my question.
There could be many things that lead to autoban. usually it is spam/bot related.

When I started to use bitcoin it was pure because it was decentralized, transparent, quick, no high fees, no signatures, no possibility of chargebacks etc. At that time price was around 5-$20 and unfortunately I was too ignorant to realize it's potential.
As of right now main use of Bitcoin would be as investiment or trading. Higher transaction fees with limited transactions per block limits it's use as a daily payment method.

I was checking this page few days ago and I find it interesting that well developed countrys have some statements and research about it. Mostly they support the idea. Then you have some 3rd world countrys that don't even have any statements or regulation just as it doesen't exist. Other part if not strongly agains they have strong regulations with taxes. I am confident that in more developed countrys government and banks are actually trying to profit from it while in 3rd world you have more of a resistance because of fear losing tax money and general control over banking. At the same time you can see that public is more than willing to join crypto even if it is regulated. 3rd world places are likely to adopt crypto in greater percentage than other places because of it's advantages and freedom.

I feel that sig campaigns hurt this forum and should be either banned or have serious rules. All that we get to see from those campaigns is spam, bots and low quality posts. This hurts the forum as a community because with low content quality you don't get constructive threads, a lot of posts get ignored and in the end even campaign owners don't get the best out of it from such community. Poor community will repel all good members. It is like a paradox, the better te forum is, you get more good paid campaigns. With good campaigns there come the shitposters which make forum low quality. Low quality forum leads to no campaigns and no campaigns will result with less shit posters and return of the more quality. I am not sure if in practice works like that but hopefully we won't get into low quality spiral. Merit system and strict rules seem to help a bit. Forum has a lot of publicity, history and quality members and with some time I hope we will see bright days.
