1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - First Self Mining Smart Contract - TOKEN SERVICE NOW LIVE on: June 16, 2017, 12:48:52 PM
It's time to improve the token creation service and to do a lot of Marketing. Dev you should focus on this now before working on this second project. Minereum will never be a serious token/project whitout some profesional works.

1) Update the website. There is still nothing about the token creation service, same for the second service.
2) Update the first post with the last news
3) Implement the roadmap directly on the website, writing things on google drive is not the good way.
4) Remove that gmail address on the site, and use your @minereum.com domain.
5) Create a page on all social networks and publish. Improve your community.
6) Make things visually more beautiful. The website and the roadmap can be improved a lot.
7) Create a real UI/UX for the token creation service. For now, this service is still too abstract for common people.

You have a big community. Find competent people in different domains. For now, I have the feeling that only one person in his garage is working on this Smiley.

Minereum can be a very interesting token if things are done correctly.

Just my opinion, but I completely agree with this. The token creation service can be 100x bigger than any pokemon app. I know people right now that would pay for a user-friendly way to do an ICO automatically without coding. This could seriously be a game changer, and if minereum doesn't do it, someone else will. If I was on the MNE team, I would be focusing on refining the token creation service and adding ability to customize the token with rules and parameters. This should be MNE's niche.

To be honest, the pokemon app sounds like a silly fad, whereas the token creation service seems like something that is adding true value.

Can someone walk me through exactly what this auto-token service provides? Who would be the intended users of this service? If I wanted to build a new token called "MSZ-token", could I pay 1 MNE and use this service and generate 20,000,000 MSZ-tokens? Could I setup these MSZ-tokens to auto-mine like minereum does or have custom rules? Sorry if I am missing something obvious, but I'm trying to understand the value of this service. Thanks!

I think you can create a fixed number of your personal token. You can decide the total supply.
I think it's a fantastic feature that gives everyone the possibility to create a personal token for any purpose.
Maybe the price is too low.

Thanks. Can you give me some real-world examples of why this would be used and how someone would derive value from having this service? Is this for people making their own coins so they don't have to code/develop it on their own? For example, can someone make their own version of minereum with self mining rules using this service?
Using the service yes, they can, but not now aparently, but is in the roadmap, right now you can create your token with 18 decimals, symbol and supply, and receive them in your address.

Thank you. If they can get that service up, that would be a game-changer imo.

Another question- if minereum is destroyed permanently, and this service is popular, and there is a fixed total supply of minereum... doesn't that mean that there is eventually zero minereum in existence?

What will Minereum's future be when Ethereum becomes king?

i think lots of things associated with ethereum are going to benefit, and minereum is in a perfect spot.

This coin is interesting because being first to market in crypto has historically been a good indicator of success. I think there is a lot of value in being able to have auto-token creation that is stupid-simple for people who can't dev on blockchain, and it looks like minereum could be the first to pull it off. I am not a genesis holder, but I just bought 550 MNE on the livecoins exchange. At a market cap under 1 million dollars, this coin could go 100x in the next year for a market cap of 800million. Obviously the devs have a lot of work to do and they need to start marketing this thing ASAP before other coins (and ethereum) are able to copy the functionality of simple auto-token creation.
