There are too many altcoins so to be safe, keep most of your money invested in bitcoin and top ranked projects. Invest only small amounts in risky coins and ICOs.

Market seems to be getting bullish over time so it is a good tiem to stay invested in it and buy more on dips. If you can hold for long term, it should be great.

There are always going to be times to trade altcoins for btc or for a stablecoin. For small corrections, either is fine. For a long drawn and big correction, cashing out in stable coins should protect the profits better.

Even pigs fly in a raging bull market like the one we saw in late 2017. Most of the coins will go up a lot and together in such cases. However, shitcoins are not safe for hodling and good for quick trading profits only.

Hold the altcoins that you have and wait for the next bull to take those back in green. Also, add some new good coins while those are also at sale prices and these should get in green soon if the bull run has started.

Market has its best 24 hours in many months so that is a very good sign of the bull. Just need to hold on to your coins and ride the bull for as long as you can.

Never buy any coin shilled by some one especially Mcafee who will promote any coin for money.  Research into the coin and buy it only if it is a good one.

The number of IEOs is very small at present time and also these are going to be high profile projects vetted by the big exchange offering those. Therefore, the possibility of scams is going to be very low.

The real good ICOs should not be affected by any short-term dumps. Those will bounce back stronger over time. Carefully planned lockup periods can mitigate some of the dumping.

The worst ICOs will be those projects that have failed completely and closed shop. Instead of looking for those, you need to look for the best ICOs to invest in.

ETH is still ranked at number two spot after bitcoin and is a very popular coin. However, there are  many new blockchain projects that promise
higher transaction throughput and other better features over Ethereum so time will tell if Ethereum is able to maintain its leadership.

Too many people associate price performance as the main criterion for deciding if a coin is a shitcoin. Instead, team and project quality and milestones should also be taken into account. Since there is no easy way to know all this, staying with top ranked and proven coins is safest.

Both these reasons can be valid but I think some people probably are worried about their privacy and identity theft risk with some of the bounties.

Coming Litecoin halving should help Litecoin outperform bitcoin. In any case, it track and outperforms bitcoin usually just because of its low marketcap.

Taxation of cryptos is a  new and complex area that will vary for different countries. Even most of the CPAs do not know how to go about handling crypto taxes.

Most ICOs except some exceptional ones have been very weak in this long bearish market. Bitcoin going down to $1000 looks very unlikely since that will mean another huge dump for the crypto market.

Bounty hunters are a small factor in dumping since they barely get 1 or 2% of the coins. There are bigger whales and pre-sale investors who has a bigger effect by their sales.

Bounties can be considered as extra income or the coins received as long term investment since many of those do not have much value immediately after ICO. Just cannot rely on these alone for your livelihood.
