1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can SHIB rise to 0.1? on: November 18, 2021, 12:55:35 AM
Personally I believe shib had it run, it can't go higher or close to 1 cent. It will be very hard because of their total coin is huge and if Shib hit 1 cents their market cap would be 20 times more than bitcoin, which not possible at this moment. But again this is crypto, you never know
same feels, it may take another couple of months considering corrections are happening more often than not
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Elon is manipulating the market? on: May 25, 2021, 01:42:44 PM
don't think anyone really believes in Elon Musk anymore
Surely some still believe in him. With what he accomplished, he's still credible. What I don't like, however, is how a single man can influence the market. For sure he knows how his tweets greatly impact the crypto community and the market overall but he's turning a blind eye on that. In his recent tweets, he stated that Tesla suspended vehicle purchases through bitcoin, which clearly has a negative impact on the market. Tweets about bitcoin and doge instantly pump/dump depending on how his tweet goes. Every tweet the man makes instantly becomes a coin.

Then again, this isn't his fault, the community overall still holds how the market would go.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mr ADA CARDANO Charles Hoskinson Speaking at TED on: February 27, 2021, 03:31:24 PM
ADA has been on the rise since early February and I've only heard about it recently. I'm tempted to buy but I'd mess up the basics. I'll wait for the hype to calm down and reevaluate my decision.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to find a telegram community 2021 on: February 27, 2021, 03:25:03 PM
The telegram application has made several updates from 2017 to the present, maybe that is the effect, and one more thing that you are expelled from the community group because it is considered inactive anymore, those two possibilities are very logical to happen I think.
Possibly, but I don't think I'd have my telegram completely wiped out.

With your time in crypto market, you need to have your independence for your thoughts and decisions.
I would not rack my skull for a group community if I where to be you.
Thirio, why do you need telegrams? This is a never-ending source of spam that distracts you from your work. The fastest source of information about projects that interest you is Twitter.
I am subscribed to several news sites because they send out major news in a hugged list. This helps to quickly analyze the market situation.
Considering a lot of you guys wouldn't want to bother to find those communities I think I'd also give up. Though having those communities has it's own pros and cons as said:
Ok, that's clear now. Just so you wait because there are other traders that are very active in other communities where they join several telegram channels that's beneficial to them. But be also careful when joining one because there are scammers that will come to you telling you something good about their trades but, it's just a way to get your thought and make you feel good that they're wanting to help you. On the other side, they're trying to catch you fall to their baits.

I have been seeing a lot of suggestions that says Twitter would be a great alternative for sources of information. I'll try to be inclined to twitter, any notable twitter handles that are a "must follow" when it comes to crypto in general?
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has it started? on: February 26, 2021, 12:08:51 PM
Post content does not match at all, are you saying that GME and Dogecoin instigated child abuse on crypto? Abuses like this can't be stopped unless the people doing it and those who condone it stop. However, since blockchain is decentralized it can be a great medium to do illegal/bad things and there's not much we can really do to stop these kinds of abuse.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to find a telegram community 2021 on: February 26, 2021, 11:35:42 AM
You should at least give some clues about the group, if you are only saying you have ever joined in that group and there will be no people can give you answers dude. ...
Yeah, I did not think this through.
... Is it related to the project, pump and dump group or something else?
I know some were related to the projects and that can be found when working on an ICO as I recall. I also recall joining airdrop telegrams but I don't think what I'm looking for. I am looking for communities that talks about the current standing/condition/status(I don't know the exact term) of various altcoins. I know, this sounds vague. And would be better if I just join new communities. Thanks a lot, man!

...you may drop your Telegram name here if someone recognize they can tell you.
I doubt that, I'm not really talkative when in communities but I like reading their topics though.

...I will advice you to start following people on Twitter because you know these people some of the groups on Telegram are just about noise and not substances which is why I prefer Twitter to Telegram for now.
Ohhh thanks a lot for the info, are people more inclined on using Twitter now instead of telegram? I had crypto twitter account but i changed it into a stan acc lmao.

...
For what? To get some scam/spam messages from strangers? If someone knows that community then just post it here, that's enough I guess.
True. I don't want that either.

Just move on and join new communities.
I actually made this post to also ask if you guys know any telegram community and if possible, invite me to them. I'll edit the post so I would be clear, thanks!
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Trying to find a telegram community 2021 on: February 25, 2021, 03:25:31 PM
I have been in crypto since late 2017, I think, and went active for around a year or so. I remember being on telegram a lot and as I come back and install telegram (i did not change my phone number) the communities I joined are gone, well my telegram's empty. I'm trying to recall where I found those communities checked twitter and been reading the forum since the other day but I can't find those community. Any idea to what I'm referring to? Any suggestions on where to find these community? Any kind of input are greatly appreciated!

Edit: I also would like to ask you guys if you know any current telegram communities, and if possible, invite me into it? Does telegram work like Discord where you just put the invite links?
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Have you heard of p2p trading?. on: February 25, 2021, 03:08:16 PM
P2P meaning Peer-2-peer or could be referred to as connoted by OP as person 2 person, is one of the most discrete way to transact cryptos without government intervention within a government crypto restricted territory. It's basically a trade between two persons but at times, there is either a third party in the trading scheme. These includes;

1. Direct p2p
This involves you directly transacting with your buyer or seller which ever position you occupy in course of the transaction and

2. Indirect p2p
This involves the use of a third party which could either be an escrow site or a trusted member/user to serve as an escrow

Challenges of both processes

1. Direct p2p
* Looking for a buyer/seller
* The issue of trust on the other party to deliver as agreed
* The issue of fair price

2. Indirect p2p
Using a member as escrow
* The main issue here is the issue of trust on the user serving as escrow
Using an escrow site
* The site is more susceptible to phishing attacks and hacks
* There could be delayed transactions due to site maintenance and breakdown
* The issue of withdrawal limits and sometimes
* The issue of KYC

It is a thing of interest to note that, the p2p system of trading is an added advantage to all especially those in crypto restricted territory because, it makes you stay anonymous to authorities and also, the bases of your business transaction with the other party remains secret while your account grows in fiat and coin equivalent.

But how do you perform such trades? Aren't trades supposed to be done on trading platforms such as binance? Curious about how this works, will research as well.

10  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which HTML Course is best for Beginners on: February 25, 2021, 02:50:50 PM
Hello Everyone, I am confused to choose the course between udemy and coursera, I want to learn html online as a beginner point. Can anyone suggest me which one is better between them, I have check these from here best HTML course. Please check it and suggest to me.

I think one of the best ways to learn is by doing. There are many free online courses that covers all the fundamentals of HTML and web development. Learning HTML from start to finish would certainly require some time and effort and most of the beginner to intermediate level course would probably suit your requirements. But if you need a quick and affordable HTML course for beginners, without complex learning process, but well-organized content, then W3Schools Online Web Tutorials will probably work for you.

Actually true, I also went and tried online courses from coursera and udemy but I always end up looking up codes from w3school. However they only show pretty basic examples so it's up to you to play around a specific code. When on the job, if I need to look up some codes, i'd go to w3school. Like decodx said it's well organized so you can easily look for whatever you're finding.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP AND THE TRIAL OF TIME on: February 25, 2021, 04:46:38 AM
I was also one of the people who are expecting XRP to continuously fall down because of the lawsuit Ripple is facing against the SEC. But I am surprised that XRP is still performing well overall even with its hard legal battle. I think XRP is still highly in demand in other parts of the world outside the United States. But I am still thinking twice of buying XRP. There is still high risk with the coin for as long as the case is still ongoing.
Whoa I have never heard of the lawsuit Ripple is facing. No wonder the price is going down. I may need to research things again before buying XRP.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: [Warning] Fake MyEtherWallet website on: February 24, 2021, 03:36:09 PM
Thanks for heading this up, crypto related website full of phising and fake one, I bookmark site like MEW, even though often use metamask.
Hacker, scammer will find another way to steal user money that's why we need to find the safe way to access our crypto asset.
Bookmarking is smOrt, though these treacherous people online are also getting smarter. That's why hardware wallets are a thing, it increases your security and decreases your chances of getting phished. However, it's still not safe from theft. Such is life. There's also MEW app which you can get from the Play Store, though I haven't used it, I think it's still safer from the browser's MEW.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are there New people joining crypto for the first time on: February 24, 2021, 03:13:19 PM
...
I don't think half the world's population knows what Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are...
In my city, there are still many who haven't heard of Bitcoin at all, even though the city I live in is classified as a developed city. many know or have heard of Bitcoin but on average are afraid to start investing because they are not confident.

The same goes for me. Heard or not, the fact that people are now aware of Bitcoin doesn't necessarily mean that cryptocurrency and blockchain technology passed the adoption stage. People recognize Bitcoin however the stigma when hearing bitcoin often ended as numerous misconceptions adding doubt and mistrust. Well, in my place at least. Though I am still hoping for the good (bitcoin or rather cryptocurrency to be truly accredited by the majority) which I think would happen in the near future with all the pandemic and whatnot.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Information About Bitcoin Halving on: April 29, 2020, 07:44:49 AM
I hope this next cycle will look similar to the two previous ones but it can also be completely different. It can take much longer or end with the price only barely touching the last ATH and not going farther because the 20 thousand price could have been extremely overbought at its time.

We don't know what the future will bring because there were no fake money printed to buy BTC like USDt in 2013 so the market has evolved drastically.

Yep, but I think this year's halving and it's subsequent effect and getting to a new all time high will take some time. So we might see some lengthening cycles and the so called "4 year cycle" might not follow after the halving next month. Although there might be some members that thinks or believe in this cycle, I think this might not hold true this time in my opinion, total bitcoin landscape has change. Of course, $20,000 that time was the peaked, lots of irrational buyers but obviously we are already in the bubble phase.
True, with all the problems causing the world economy to slow down, specially this pandemic, chances of bitcoin's price be affected as well is high. Just like Kemarit said, we're at bubble phase and this time next month or a few months based on the cycle then we'll see mild to moderate changes.
15  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Question about paypal and bitcoin. on: April 29, 2020, 07:34:56 AM
Are you saying you want to buy bitcoin through his Paypal and send that bitcoin to your address?

May I ask where are you from? I don't know any site but I do (and most Filipinos i think) use coins.ph which is available in google play store, the app can convert and transact money(PHP) and bitcoin alternately. Though the problem is 1. you'll make an account pretty much like Paypal and verify it. 2. you're not a Filipino and can't use coins.ph
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IEM katowice csgo bets and analis // ESEA, ESL, Flashpoint and much more on: April 27, 2020, 11:49:29 AM
Final Score 2:0 ! PROFIT

Oof 2-0 North vs Mousesports, mousesports definitely do well on early but cant hold their ground starting on round 5 and chokes on late game, in Vertigo mistakes were made and it snowballed, Karrigan being carried and MSL and Kjaerbye hardcarry LUL.

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Making Cov-19 as excuses on: April 25, 2020, 08:04:51 AM
Covid-19 has done more damage than expected and the entire world is going through a very uncertain time.
True people just don't realize how much damage the pandemic has done. The pandemic literally shut down majority of places and industries in the world. People are being laid-off and jobs are challenging to keep, in a third-world country like ours, people will starve in a couple of weeks time unless the gov't addresses the pandemic efficiently and unless you're not in a bad place to invest now (you can still provide for your necessities) I think investing in projects are questionable. Lastly,
Also it's hard to find a good project worth talking nowadays!
