1  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Verification Emails on: May 23, 2019, 03:18:40 AM
Yea I'm having the same problem with Binance. Their useless customer support auto sending goes to my email box but not the verification email. I slide the little lock thing and and it says "Success!" then failure happens when I don't get my email.

So according to the last 1,5 years everything goes fine, except the only weak spot of this project is the advertisement. Almost no one knows about sonm. There are at least a hundred much more noted projects far from a working product. These talks with a few people on monthly tech events are not too efficient. There should be mass promotions on the web for miners and small IT entrepreneurs!
most important part of the project is developments and their implementation
advertisements is on second priority. the fist thing is going really fine by the sonm team when everything in development phase will be done and developments part is still going on.
just have to wait more and hold our sonm tokens

I think SONM is doing a good job with advertising. SONM is not something that everyone needs. It's really just for businesses. That is why they go to all of these Cloud Computing Conferences. All the advertising they are doing is for attracting customers at this point. They already have a couple of large miners with over a thousand GPU's on standby ready go when it is needed. Number of active deals are hovering over 100 lately. (128 deals right now) Once more suppliers are NEEDED and a more friendly Windows software is available for suppliers then SONM can crank up the advertising to the masses of less sophisticated people. They are now working with companies on a one to one basis to get them on-boarded. It is perhaps risky for businesses to jump into and start using SONM. The platform is a bit cumbersome but they are doing a good job of improving it. I see on the updated road map Q3 2019 Native Windows support for suppliers! I hope this includes GPU's and not just CPU's!

I think that cooperation between projects in crypto through forks and airdrops is a future. Nice to see it with Sonm and Exereum!

Are you working for the scammers?!

exereum.net

They are trying to steal people's private keys! Plus the website has "Lorem ipsum" text files. Total Scam. Go to their website. It's so shitty it's funny!

Airdrop for SONM holders

Hello.
We are realizing an ethereum fork project (Exereum) and we decided to airdrop some our coins to the most interesting ERC-20 project. We selected SONM as one of such projects for airdrop and allocated 7.200.000 EXM coins. So every Sonm holder will get ~ 0.05 EXM per every SNM he holding.
More info look here:
bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4206916.0
exereum.net

I checked your website and it took only 5 seconds to figure out it's just a scam project aiming to get private keys of the users!
Anyone who falls for this should not use crypto at all ... ever!

HAHAHA their website is a joke! I copy/pasted a paragraph from their website.

"But to ensure that you get the tokens, you have to hold ETH on any wallet during all the fork time on 4 of July 2018 from 15:00 UTC, that will provided an access to a private key. After the mainnet launch everyone who fulfils this stipulation will receive Exereum in proportion 1:1 corresponding to the amount of ETH in the wallet at the moment of the fork."

Give us your private key and make sure there is Ether in the wallet!!

LOL

am I the only one that doesn't quite trust the upcoming exereum airdrop? Seems like the project doesn't add any value to the crypto space and its just using succesful projects to 1. ride their waves and 2. maybe try to trick people

Yea it sounds a little phishy to me. If your going to do an airdrop, which is giving away equity in exchange for a large number of customers, why not choose ethereum itself or something much bigger than SONM. When air drops happen scams and phishing attacks can happen. Not to mention all the annoying questions we will get in the Telegram Channels!

Let's talk about something besides the price.

I'd like to involve in the "mining". I'd like to buy some computer to supply the computer power.
What kind of computers are good?
Can I get profit from renting my computer power now?

Right now is still the Test-Net. In July they will have some of the functions where you can earn real SONM for your rented computers. In AUG the whole Main-Net gets released. From there I'm sure there will be lots of steady improvements.

New batch of tokens have just been released!! I got my 10% bonus too.   Smiley

If anybody is interested in keeping up with what's going on with SONM I encourage you to join their Telegram. I just joined now and wish I did sooner. There are over 6000 people in their chat and the developers and Somn administrators are answering questions. It's much better than this Bitcoin Forum Thread.

I just watched SONM's Q&A. They said Master-Nodes are a possibility if Ethereum does not offer a side chain option in time for product launch. They also said IF they use master nodes they don't know what the required amount of SNM tokens will be. Does anyone want to speculate what the required amount of SNM tokens might be to run your own Master-Node?

I believe Giga-Watt already stated they are not going to be listing WTT on exchanges until after all the Pods are built.

The DASH miner shows hosting fees for the 15th and 16th but no profits.  Anyone else notice this in your back office?

I am not 100% sure but I think the Dash mining pool pays out every 2 or 3 days. I remember getting an email from them explaining that. How ever I am mining Dash as well and see deposits into my wallet maybe twice a day. It's pretty random.  Today I saw for a couple of hours my power consumption doubled then went back to normal. I'm not sure why.

My miners are up and running!! Yippy.

Just be patient! My 2 D3's started mining on 2/12.

I downloaded the app. So I can see my miners - hashrate - energy consumption. Pretty cool!

Here is a step-by-step video from Mitja Gomboc that I just found on Youtube on how to set up Sonm as a supplier.

I just downloaded the Gigawatt app for the I-phone. The app looks really good and useful. I was hoping for something like this.

I'm currently expanding my mining farm and I would like to setup machines specifically for working on the SONM network. What type of machines / hardware is best for this?

Graphics Cards!!  The same thing that's best for mining Ethereum & ZCash. Have you tried their TestNet yet? You can download their software and run it on your personal computer first to make sure everthing works. I would run the TestNet first before buying a bunch of graphics cards. https://mvp.sonm.io/

anybody get the testnet working?

Can someone send a screenshot of the Sonm Application?

I installed Ubuntu last week. That was the easy part. Apparently my version of Firefox is not current enough. Anyone tried using a Mac? It's suppose to work on either IOS or Linux. Updating a web browser in Linux just seems impossible to me. Lol.

It's been 10 days since TestNet release lets try it out for our selves. I'm sure some one this message board is trying to install the software and not just talking about the price of the coin!?!? Right?

Any good news?

My tokens were issued about 2 weeks ago and I'm generating some income on renting. But my 2 miners aren't up yet. Anyone recently get their miners up and running?
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: December 31, 2017, 04:52:21 AM
I can't install the test net software.

I installed Linux Ubuntu and Fire Fox version 41.0.2

When i try to open the html file included in the wallet package it says unsupported version. Try downloading fire fox or chrome. But it is fire fox!

Anybody have any idea of what I should do? Linux is a pain in the ass compared to Windows. I was trying to install google chrome on Linux and that's not working so smoothly either. Keep getting "dependency failed". Which from what i understand means its missing some files needed to run Chrome. So great!

Does anybody have a useful link that could help me install Chrome on Linux? And by useful I mean for someone who is new to Linux?

Stood up till 4:30 a.m. watching the market melt down. I bought some more SONM on the dip at 28/29 cents!  Cool
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: December 14, 2017, 06:04:36 AM
Screw it I just bought some more!

I was looking at a few other coins to buy today. Did about 5 hours of research on Wabi and Raiden Network. Then I took another look at SONM and decided this is where my money needs to go! I do watch their Q & A sessions on You-tube that they do about once a month. I was surprised that they answered one of my questions here on bitcointalk in the video. Plus they are partnering with StorJ and AION. I'm sure in a few years where all going to be very happy with our investments. I also look forward to mining with them. Although I don't think they will have much use for my ASICs. I wonder what computer equipment would be best for mining with Sonm. I'm guessing a lot of Graphics Cards used for Ethereum. I wonder if a computer with a powerful CPU or a lot of RAM would be the most optimal for certain tasks on Sonm? I wish I found out about StorJ sooner because from what I understand you need 10,000 coins to run a masternode of hard drives? Atleast that would be nice and quite in my living room! Plus not be hot or use a lot of electricity. I need to check out AION as well.
