Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Vircurex BTC Transfers Today

Nobody has any help for me? LOL....this is what makes BTC difficult. There is nobody to talk to at the exchange and most are not computer savvy to track the coins. Vircurex was down for the better part of the day and my coins are still not there after 12 hours now. the transfer has not even been recognized.

Economy / Service Discussion / Vircurex BTC Transfers Today
|
on: June 07, 2013, 02:26:16 AM

Is anyone having issues getting coins transferred from your wallet to your account wallet on Vircurex today? I have made two transfers today and neither one has showed up over there. I am not even getting the Conformations 0/6 window that normally opens. I have checked the wallet address three times to make sure it is correct and don't know what else to do. I have made this transfer several times with no issues, so I am not really sure what to do at this point.

I am not new to Crypto currency and currently I have a lot of several. I squandered so many coin in the beginning by panic selling or "day trading" BTC it would blow your mind. Just hold your coins sir......it's all a roller coaster and it will rebound to new levels that we can even imagine someday. I wish I had all the coins that I have made major mistakes selling. Hold on Spartan.

Other / Beginners & Help / Does MTGOX have any liability here?
|
on: May 01, 2013, 02:38:47 AM
|
I have a friend (a Dr.) who had his mtgox wallet hacked today and had 14k stolen. He was all in cash inside mtgox and got an email out the blue that there was activity on his account. Someone bought 60BTC and then 40BTC and immediately transferred them into another wallet. (the same wallet address) He still had 15k left so he logged on, changed his password and bought BTC but his transfer limit for the day has been hit because he is not verified yet. He will be transferring asap into his blockchain wallet which is secured by his yubikey. His Mtgox account was only user name and password. How could somebody get in? Does Mtgox have any responsibility? He's just sick about it. I told him that there were some very smart people on these boards and I would just pose the question and see what kind of good/bad news came back. Thank you for your reply.
