i can't believe where this coin has gone in just a short period of time. what is that power that drives this concept up? i can't see here anything else but speculation. no real value for the markets.
I find your post a bit strange, you surely have not been following the project and it's news updates at all? It's the other way around. The majority of other top 50 marketcap coins are driven by pure speculation. What is your idea of real value, what adds value? People focus on the blockchain technology too much, security features, new algorithms etc. To the average person, what does that really mean? Not a lot to be honest. It's a geeks world, and a relatively small world at that. This is a currency, a currency is meant to be used, not just bought and sold. What value would fiat have if you can't use it in the shops? It would just be some bits of paper wouldn't it? So a financial institution brings out a new payment/credit card, it's absolutely full of new tech, it's the best of its kind with advanced security features and a stunning futuristic design. The catch is you can't actually use it. Nobody accepts it. That's pretty much what the majority of coins in the market are like, they only serve a purpose of getting traded on the exchanges. I said before that the market is at risk of becoming a speculative bubble if that scenario goes on. The future of crypto depends on its adoption and how useful it will be going forward. Electroneum does not have anything new to appease the Crypto geeks among us, it's a fork of Monero. Nothing wrong with that, it's secure and built on a good foundation. The value is coming from the partnerships that they are making. They secured a payment processing partner, a telecoms industry partner and are working on many more. They said yesterday that these deals are small compared to one they are currently working on. They said its an absolute monster of a partnership. With more to come, Electroneum could be a very useful currency in the future. Add to that the viral marketing, the obvious talent they have as marketers, the growing interest and community and of course the plans they have for mass adoption and you have a potential winner. I am not a blind supporter of Electroneum. I have investments in quite a few projects and I can see the negatives with ETN too. I just think that Electroneum has a lot of potential and I'm following it closely. Fully agree man. The more I read, the more I start to think some people just don't really want to understand it. They are stuck in the world of geeks and are starting to lose sight of what cryptoCURRENCY is actually supposed to be(come) Crypto isn't supposed to be like tradingcards or anything, the whole purpose was to use them as a new form of payment. So far ETN seems to be one of the very few who is really aiming at a large crowd to actually be used as a form of payment rather than to "bring something new" that no-one outside this geek world cares about. ETN isn't trying to re-invent the wheel, re-invent something that already exist and works well (hence being a fork of Monero) What is a flawless product if you can't market it to the public? If no-one uses it? I'll tell you what it is, just a flawless product that no-one uses. Like I've said before, the average person doesn't understand blockchain, crypto, bitcoin etc. (I don't even fully understand it yet) And if you were to ask them "Would you like me to explain blockchain and cryptocurrency to you?" 80% of the people would answer "Block-what? Crypto-what?" and the other 19% would say "Well, I've heard of it, but it's too complicated" They don't care if it's not something that you can literally do on your phone with 3 simple steps, that's what ETN is bringing to the table. or atleast trying to bring at this point.I have highlighted in bold the section of your post that is most important. Right now, there are issues with the web wallet. I am not sure how the mobile wallet is working. I know very well that the command line daemon syncs well with the network. I have received coins that I have mined to my CLI wallet. But as you mentioned, this is not the crowd that ETN is targeting, so at this moment they are not doing a great job with their target audience, who want to use either the mobile or web wallet to transfer their ETN funds. |

Hi, if you bought it with CC, then your tokens will be frozen for 4 to 12 months.. ppl read b4 investing. I read the white paper and also read the forum posts that mentioned that the tokens for all will be available after the ICO completes. |

i hope there is a timeline on next exchange..  I think livecoin have a very low volume i dont understand why the other exchanges are listing shit coins one after another, and they take so much time to list a pearl like minex. Maybe coz the other shit coins spend more time trying to get listed on exchangea. The pearls wait till they get listed by default. |

I have been mining and parking MNX for a long time but it is time to move along and cash out and invest my coins and mining power somewhere else.
We are here to make money and we cannot ignore the fact that other alts are growing in price at a rapid pace and MNX is stuck around $20.
Even when I consider the gains I get when parking MNX is still not reaching the gains I can make somewhere else.
Good luck to MNX as this is a good coin but the devs need to realize that people like me are leaving because of the price not growing.

You are sure that you know which altcoin is more perspective than Minex? I am going to change my alts to Minex, now is cheap and proce must grow up. I agree with the previous poster. It’s very difficult to see other mined coins increase in value at such a rapid pace. Minexcoin is stuck in a limbo. Also no real great news from the developers does not help. |

patient, usually payment will be made after 2 to 3 weeks since spreadsheet calculation, this is not like paying in btc which is paid weekly, let the team finish the job, we just have to wait,  It's a great advice! It will be better if bounty participants receive their tokens prior to listing on the exchanges. when we see the payment in btc is always on time, I'm sure UTT token payments will not take long, if we compare it with another project the distribution could take weeks, maybe the manager will make a post when the payment is done. Completely agree with this sentiment. There is some patience needed to be demonstrated. The team has allocated BTC as per their commitment, so no need to worry. You will get the tokens soon. I really like the idea behind this coin, but all I see everyday are users with failed or pending transactions. Why is this the case? This is meant to be a fork of Monero, another coin/blockchain that I really like.
The devs seem to have got it wrong, 2nd time too. A failed website. Mobile mining that was expected to be launched, also is pending. I understand that mobile mining is a simulation/gimmick. Its a marketing ploy that did not work.
The devs should come in and allay the concerns behind all these issues.

I think the price is only so high because deposits on HitBTC are disabled again. Once deposits are back online, people will quickly eat up those over hyped sell orders, and we will see the true price of of DIM coin. I personally sold a small fraction of my holdings at 0.20 USD which more than covers my initial investment. If DIM plays their cards right, we may find ourselves selling for much more than 0.20 USD in the future  Was a clever move tbh. I missed to deposit some in time. So now I will definetely wait for a few months before checking again and hoping that we reached some nice price level above 5 US-$ cent! If not, well then I will probably just forget about this investment nothing clever. hitbtc /dim team aren't capable to connect the wallets. now the price is artificialy inflated I disagree with this, because the team behind DIM project is really crowded and they're the guys who are supported by the investors. The project will be a game changer in the market and I'm pretty sure that the price will go near $1 very soon. Don't think it's hyped or pumped artificially. Couple of months from now on, you'll see what I mean. It's gonna be the next big thing on the market. Seconded. But what I believe is that, Once the deposit functionality is enabled, It'll be dumped hastily. Afterwards It'll go back up and exceed the initial price of $0.2. Dimcoins are worth $1-$5 Imo. There's big potential here That is exactyl what I mean. Go back to my original psot and you will see that I wrote that there is a chance we will be selling for much more than 0.20 USD in the future. I mean, the team is creating a unique ecosystem, there are only 10,000,000 coins. This means they will be worth a pretty penny  It does not change the fact that the teams actions are very controversial, and I am not sure if I should trust them with my mnoney. I am not quite sure what is going to come, so I dumped a small fraction of my holdings which more than overs my investment. I still have about 90% of what I had, and 100% of my tokens, and I have gotten the money from my initial investment back. If things don't work out, at least I didn't lose out I think it would be stupid to dump all my holdings. There are 1.5 billion coins in circulation with a total cap of 9 billion. Thats a lot of coins, isn't it? Where are the remaining 7.5 billion coins, if I may ask? Do I have to read the white paper for that? |

You hold for aslong as you want ofcourse. It's supposed to become a better currency than fiat. Obviously at some point people are gonna sell off a part of it depening how broadly ETN will be accepted. I think in many third world countries this will be used at a much higher rate than here and really be used as currency to buy food, gas etc.
Cryptos such as ETN need access to internet to be used wildly. In some countries, it is difficult for small shops to accept credit cards at this stage. So those days are far off in third world countries. |

Hoping the price could get back $ 60, I bought it when the price is $ 50 in livecoin and now the price is around $ 23 so I will lose if it sells now. Yes, there is no need to worry. MNX will return to $ 50 or more in the long run. If you do not need money soon you can increase MNX by keeping parking. What is the long run in this case. When you pay with card, the tokens may be locked for upto a year. This is to prevent chargebacks and to protect investors. However accrued dividends would be paid out after token release. I understand the rationale behind that thought, however, another ICO released their tokens immediately at the end of the ICO to those who invested with credit cards. That felt good. This feels a bit difficult to digest. No tokens for up to a year, seems very far fetched, especially in the cryptocurrency realm. |

He has not done anything with the development of the coin or its "features", which can be shown in its; ever since it got pumped and dumped after being listed on Bittrex. This must be one of the dumbest posts I ve seen here. Civic is one of the 'big ones' if you cared to read the w/paper and understand its potential. But clearly, you like quoting other people. -,- For those not in the know, can you please explain what features from the white paper have been implemented till date. I missed out on the ICO and would like to get back in. What progress has been made? The huge pump couple of days back was interesting. |
