CSW is a savant with poor social skills..and hes Australian

Aussie guys can be quite weird , CSW is pretty normal by down under standards.

None of us knows the proof gavin saw, all we know is it satisfiec him, and then craig chose to make his public proofs dodgy, but I suspect all will be revealed eventually.

Actually its all very, very public and very easy to understand how Craig was pulling over a fast one on poor Gavin. The debate of whether Craig is a charlatan or not has long been over with. Everybody knows he was lying. Its facetious to pretend its still up in the air.

https://www.ccn.com/gavin-andersen-craig-wright-blog-mistake/

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2qLI3VIHuKU

Besides, never in any of his public communications was Satoshi 1/10th as big an asshole as CSW is on any given day. And unless CSW has an opposite sleep pattern from 99% of all human beings on earth their sleep cycles do not match up. The reasons why CSW is NOT Satoshi are many and varied and its fallacious of you to continue pretending any doubt remains in the matter.

Andresen still thinks CSW is satoshi, and states clearly he wont discuss any of the private personal details that convinced him, as I said before CSW wants guys like you to discredit and doubt him, and you're doing what he wants. He deliberately made the public proof in his blog unbelievable, and his private proof to Andresen believable, all Gavin says now is he regrets getting dragged into the find satoshi game where CSW is for some reason happy to antagonise guys like you. I agree with Gavin though, in retrospect he should not have posted his supportive blog until after craig made a compelling public proof. CSW wants to be the bad guy in bitcoin, who knows why, but he does.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HLM] HELIUM - PRE NOTICE on: September 29, 2018, 05:38:30 AM
so I did the math....
and according to this calculator
in 2 days when block reward hits 5 coins per block  (25 times what it is currently... ie .2 coins/block)
at current difficulty, 1000 staked coins generates (.3688*25) or just over 9 coins a day.

hmmm, I'd venture to say the folks who held spreadcoins in local wallet at snapshot rather than Cryptopia
must be getting a warm fuzzy right about now....

https://www.heliumchain.info/#/pos/1000

and I guess that the rest of us with coins in Cryptopia feel left behind by the team and feel that the team could have handled this better and not just put the blame on Cryptopia. So, some (a minority it seems) with a warm fuzzy feeling and the majority feel cheated. Not good I believe for the future. The team should have had all this dealt with before launching. It's too easy to just point the finger at Cryptopia.

How can the helium devs make cryptopia exchange admins do anything, all they can do is ask, and nag, and I assume they're doing both everyday.

On another issues, is staking returns competitive with running masternode?
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: September 29, 2018, 05:06:07 AM

PIRATES of komodo, let's leave our monero brothers/sisters in peace now and not clog this thread with more PIRATE discussion, they know another fungible digital cash now exists in the cryptosphere, further discussion should take place in komodo/PIRATE discord and threads, anything more is probably spam and only serves to antogonise, everyone here knows what PIRATE is now.

So, you think Gavin meets Craig in person and he offers the same evidence as everybody else? You don't think Gavin would have used personal communications he had with satoshi to check if Craig was legit, like ask for dates and contents of emails and forum messages? Gavin wasn't fooled, and afaik witnessed in person Craig using satoshi's priv keys.

You're being bullheaded about the fact that Craig obtained the keys from the bitcoin blockchain. He used recycled keys that were out in the public and obtainable by anybody. Its impossible for Gavin to have communicated with Satoshi about the matter because he hadn't communicated with him in over 4 (maybe even 5) years by that point.

Craig wants the situation we have, many doubters, he likes the uncertainty.

Nobody gives a flying fuck what Craig wants. He's clearly a sociopathic narcissist and he hasn't contributed anything of note to the crypto community in his pursuit of even more money. He's an extremely crass, divisive figure hellbent on fooling the weak-minded into believing he is Satoshi for purpose of quenching his insatiable ego.

I have no idea why Craig chose to prove to Gavin conclusively in private using methods that satisfied Gavin, and then use a method in public that obviously attracts the criticism you and others make, but that is what he did. Gavin and Matonis are not idiots, and not profiting from craig afaik, and I am sure the proof he used in person included many aspects including bitcoin priv keys not used publicly, and probably also details of emails and other communications.

Craig wants people like you to do exactly what you are doing, and people like Gavin to know he is satoshi, but why ... Only he knows.

None of us knows the proof gavin saw, all we know is it satisfiec him, and then craig chose to make his public proofs dodgy, but I suspect all will be revealed eventually.

Not to mention the emails sent from CSW to Kleiman before the white paper was even released.

This is a quote from the main document of the court case, which can be found here https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/6309656/1/kleiman-v-wright/

"In March 2008, just a few months before Satoshi’s paper on the Bitcoin protocol
was published, Craig wrote Dave an email stating: “I need your help editing a
paper I am going to release later this year. I have been working on a new form
of electronic money. Bit cash, Bitcoin . . . [y]ou are always there for me Dave.
I want you to be part of it all.”

Ever heard of something called "backdating"?

In the same document you just linked:

"It is unclear whether Craig, Dave, and/or both created Bitcoin."

If Craig was Satoshi, why would he need to pull an elaborate hoax on Gavin Andresen where he presented keys that were already publicly available, embedded in the blockchain? Seems like he could have used any one of perhaps hundreds of other keys Satoshi should be in possession of.

Besides, Satoshi Nakamoto was never the ill-mannered, egocentric, conniving drama queen bedwetter that CSW is every day.

Craig wants the situation we have, many doubters, he likes the uncertainty.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: September 29, 2018, 03:46:38 AM
Unfortunately, I did not understand everything about the pirate. Where can I find out more about this? It is not clear to me why this thread is discussing opinion of Komodo ?
I just wanted to know more about MONERO. To my surprise, so much talk about the pirate Huh
Help me find these answers

Monero has been the only anonymous crypto since 2014, all other so called privacy coins have made the actual anon functionality optional, so they are not viable forms of fungible digital cash. By making a fork of Zcash with ALL tx being anon Z transactions by default, PIRATE is now functionally very similar to monero , 100% anonymous tx by default, so PIRATE is the second fair launched fungible digital cash created since 2009 (bytecoin was not fair launch), market cap is approx 1M USD now. PIRATE should be of interest to most monero users, I am not selling any monero, just buying PIRATE,  it's better to have two fungible digital cash coins rather than one.

How will Qora gen2 be distributed if there isn't a swap, are you planning an ICO now, or is distribution from mining now exclusively?

If Qora gen1 holders don't get any swap, what keeps the community supporting Qora gen2? I need some more explanation to be convinced with this plan.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Qora | POS | Assets | Names | Polls | Automated Transactions | Social Network on: September 29, 2018, 03:26:49 AM
is this project still alive?

The project is very much alive and well.

In fact, things are moving along VERY well.

We are simply choosing to stay more quiet at the moment, until the time is right. I will make another announcement shortly.

Good strategy, keep your powderdry until you're ready to start marketing a stable wallet with a functioning network, preferably with a lite wallet as well. Doesn't do any g̣od going off to pro toe things that aren't ready for mass adoption, otherwise you get Bitcoin experience from late 2017 with unusable expensive services.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: September 29, 2018, 03:22:05 AM

If it uses the same setup parameters as zcash then the privacy is still in question, even if all transactions are shielded:
https://twitter.com/peterktodd/status/1045210959407706112?s=19

The trusted setup is the only negative with PIRATE, on every other aspect it is superior to Zcash and all other forks. Given recent bugs with monero and bitcoin, everyone investing in crypto is wise to invest only what they can afford to lose. I have concerns over the trusted setup, but I have concerns over every other crypto in my portfolio too - there can be bugs, code isn't perfect, but I trust monero, bitcoin and Zcash about the same, and as I'm not a dev myself every crypto I use involves trusting the devs who release the code, and the communities around them that use, analyze, test and generally try and break them, and overall I have decided to trust the trusted setup. I would not be surprised if bugs are found again in bitcoin monero Zcash.

Also, I'll just assume they "forked to improve emission" after they instamined the fuck out of it.

No, they did the exact opposite, they changed the emission so halvings were extended  to 10 months, and the coin supply went from 40M to 200M, they did this when they realised their 'test' coin was really popular, so it's the exact opposite of your assumption, the early miners actually disadvantaged themselves quite a bit over the original 'test' parameters, and most sold cheaply before the hash went through the roof and donated to another onboarding giveaway campaign that's running now.

The early miners also donated 250K coins for a giveaway that ran on this forum for approx 10 days, which at the time was ~1/4 of the coins mined at that time.

No, the PIRATE launch was one of the most fair I have seen in crypto, the only anomaly was how quickly people started mining it, that took the guys who launched it by surprise, hence the 250k giveaway and change in emission. PIRATE really did start as a test, then people realised z only tx makes PIRATE a fungible digital cash same as monero.

Launch of PIRATE is well documented here , https://medium.com/@satindergrewal/pirates-of-komodo-platform-cdc991b424df
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - Zcash Zero Knowledge Privacy Secured by Bitcoin on: September 28, 2018, 03:19:16 AM
Hi

I am looking for new Agama wallet.
And I see here https://github.com/KomodoPlatform/Agama/releases - 0.2.42c version, but on website https://komodoplatform.com/komodo-wallets/ version is 0.2.41d.

Which version is actual?

0.2.42c is the latest. The one on komodoplatform.com will be updated soon by the team.

What we need is an official agama release that includes PIRATE with correct checksum, which is probably what we will get in the next few days. PIRATE has moved very fast, as we all know, so it is taking the dev team a while to get everything with agama sorted.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: September 28, 2018, 02:25:46 AM
jfc someone get me an eyepatch

There ya go matey, we be gettin' swamped by PIRATE memes now, Arrrr

roflmao , memes are fun for marketing, but default privacy secured by bitcoin hash is the takeaway msg here

edit, what I like best is the fair launch, no premine/ICO/ninja just fair PoW for years and years, same as monero
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PIRATE] A zk-SNARKS only blockchain, Tor, secured by dPoW and BTC hashrate on: September 28, 2018, 01:07:14 AM
I'll sell 50 000 PIRATE when the price will 0.1 KMD per 1 PIRATE.
So 5000 KMD or 96.5 LTC or 0.875 BTC.

I think if you have patience you will make that trade, if you build a better privacy coin they will come, and PIRATE is the best anon crypto now, supported by one of the most active dev communities in the cryptosphere, so It's just a matter of time.

Z only by default with dPoW is just magic!

And here we are!
Only 2 days has passed and it's almost 0,1 KMD.

Yes, even the monero people are getting into the PIRATE armada now, they are making PIRATE memes , many of those guys can see the potential of a fair launched private by default fungible digital cash secured by bitcoin hash, seriously monero users are ALL potential pirates in the making.

315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: OTC [PIRATE] trading thread on: September 28, 2018, 01:00:02 AM
Monero guys made a PIRATE meme, cool! I think we have some fans in the closet who want to join the PIRATE party, we should offer some outreach services for monero community coming out lol , it must be hard for them seeing a more private coin with bitcoin level security.

316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: September 28, 2018, 12:55:33 AM
This thread needs a mod to kill the junk

This thread discusses Zcash all the time, a fair launched Z tx only fork with a pirate meme secured by bitcoin hash is surely relevant to most readers here, you should welcome the addition of another version of fungible digital cash, offer some insightful criticism if you are able... or you can ask mods for censorship.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: September 28, 2018, 12:47:08 AM
The only pirate that should be mentioned here:

Seriously, anything jl777 touches is by default a scam. Fuck off with your bullshit.

Yup  https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/supernet-unity/

Not traded on any exchange.

Is funny how orange and grey looks similar as of Monero.

Supernet is an asset fund that holds other crypto, it's mostly traded OTC now

The holdings are here  http://old.supernet.org/nav.php
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: September 26, 2018, 01:03:17 PM
Any coin that has optional privacy is total crap as privacy coin. It might work for something else, I don't know, their use is not clear.

I agree, Zcash isn't really a privacy coin that can be used as digital cash, but this clone is coz it enforces anon z txs by default

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4979549.0

Only problems to resolve is the trusted setup, but if you can live with that PIRATE is a real digital cash, otherwise wait until trusted setup is sorted, and they reboot a similar z only coin.

Update on new privacy coin PIRATE,  the komodo devs have now added delayed PoW notarisation so their new ultra private z only Zcash based asset chain is now being notarised onto the bitcoin blockchain, so basically this PIRATE coin is the most anonymous, most secure privacy crypto I know of. Only issue is trusted setup, but PIRATE is unambiguously better than all other Zcash based coins, and with anon tx by default PIRATE is a good match for monero technically.

Yes I know, trusted setup .... but PIRATE has default anon tx PLUS secured by Bitcoin now with dPoW notarization.

Monero and PIRATE are the best choice, who respect Privacy.

Agreed, monero and PIRATE are the best versions of digital cash. Brief history of PIRATE below.

Can I run two instances of agama wallet on the same PC? I have the verus wallet staking, but can I also run PIRATE agama based wallet also? I know agama is a multi coin wallet, but I don't know if it's possible to stake/mine verus, and sync PIRATE from the same agama instance, so should I run both wallets at the same time separately.
