1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / deep blockchain know how on: May 14, 2019, 02:50:07 PM
"If you've ever tried to understand an explanation of how a specific blockchain actually works and found yourself cross-referencing through dozens of sites to pick up the gist of the explanation you'll know how time-consuming and frustrating it is.

Imagine being given one minute to explain cryptocurrencies to someone you know who suffers from technophobia. Where would you start? Would you try and explain distributed ledgers or smart contracts?

Keeping it simple you could begin by narrowing down the cryptocurrency space to a manageable size. CoinMarketCap.com lists thousands of coins and tokens, but out of this list which cryptocurrencies would you focus on?"

man, I love the advice given here

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / old vs new banking on: May 03, 2019, 01:40:56 PM
Previously, in times of crisis, capital works were started to put a nation back to work and stimulate the economy. In recent times, interest rates have been used to control the economy, and in the past, when a country was tied to the gold standard, gold was confiscated and then revalued higher effectively devaluing the underlying currency.

One way to stimulate the economy would be to control how cash works. If Central Banks are successful and ban the use of physical cash, forcing everyone to use digital money, another “feature” of digital cash could be time erosion.

One way to “encourage” the public to spend and stimulate the economy is to have a digital currency that erodes in value if it is not spent.

how'd u think it will progress?

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple will be great again on: July 22, 2018, 09:15:54 PM
It will recover again, but i am not confident too much on the price, i do not think that it will be touching three bucks again, maybe if it touches $1 again, it would be like a miracle that happened just because of pure luck.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth buying low-volume tokens? on: July 22, 2018, 09:09:08 PM
Of course, yes, it is profitable if you buy tokens that are just released too, the price might go a little bit deeper before, and then goes up in 1 or 2 days, this is normal and it happens to all the coins that are just listed for the first time
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust ERC20 tokens? on: July 22, 2018, 08:55:33 PM
Why not? EOS, Tron, they used to be ERC20tokens before, and they were more than great and they were pumped on december, i think that the entire market depends on coins, and if there aren't any of them, then it would be useless.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEX - NEO based token for decentralized exchange :o on: July 22, 2018, 08:49:17 PM
NEX is one of the best coins in where you can invst at the moment, it is more than true that NEO tokens are becoming more and more profitable and famous, so this is good for Nex, they are just handling on from that fame.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: should now sell coin or not on: July 22, 2018, 08:43:51 PM
No, the best thing that you can do is just to continue holding for a longer period, that is the worst thing that you can do -> selling now. So wait, just like all the people in here doing at the moment, there is nothign bad with it
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do bounty hunters become ICO investors? on: July 22, 2018, 08:37:34 PM
They are not investing their money, so they are not investors, that is how that word works. Better to do not confuse those concepts, because an investor and a bounty hunter are very different from each other.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decision in panic! on: July 22, 2018, 08:31:01 PM
Yes, sold a bunch of coins that are low cap coins for peannuts, and now they are x3 of the price in where i sold, i am more than sorry about doing that on the past, i really regret about all that crap that i did when i was afraid of the market
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do we need to diversify? on: July 22, 2018, 08:24:56 PM
If you just want to avoid running into innecesary risks, then the best thing to do is just to diversify all of your money between a few altcoins, including bitcoin. That is the safest thing that you can do on this bear market.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next 100x-1000x coin? on: July 21, 2018, 05:41:17 PM
x1000? man you are more than craazy, that is not going to happen if that is what you are wondering, the market is not looking so good to make a coin go over 1000 times of the actual price, better to invest in good coins instead of pump and dumps
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 700 usd to invest on: July 21, 2018, 05:33:47 PM
Better to invest all that money into a coin that you really like the way that it works and their technology, that is the only way that you are going to be succeeding on the next few months as soon as there is another bullrun in here.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are you buying now? on: July 21, 2018, 05:25:41 PM
I am buying a bunch of ethereums , neo, and eos, those are still my favourite coins and taht is the main reason of why i am buying a bunch of them. Stellar might be a good coin too, but i do not trust on this huge pump at the moment.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I stay away from this market? on: July 21, 2018, 05:18:52 PM
Just keep holding, the last few days almost everything went up by a little bit, the same thing is going to be repeateed on the next few weeks as soon as there are better news on the entire market, just keep holding and you will be happy about them
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best crypto to buy now? on: July 21, 2018, 05:09:53 PM
Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin, Cardano, Neo, and Eos.
All those coins are more than good if you really like to invest in good and solid coins that are already on the market and coinmarketcap, just go ahead and invest on them
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WIll ETH pass BTC in 2019 ? on: July 21, 2018, 05:03:26 PM
It is more than impossible for me, everything is stable and Bitcoin will never be reached by ethereum, it is not logic and it makes no sense, it is impossible to be honest, but i could be wrong, the entire market is constantly changing.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves vs Stratis on: July 21, 2018, 04:50:58 PM
They both are not good coins, they are shitty ones, that is the main reason of why the prices are not going up, i really believe in all the other coins, but waves and stratis? they have no future, and there is no way that they can grow up
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EOS speculation, is it worth investing? on: July 21, 2018, 04:44:24 PM
Why it would not be worth to invest in this coin? It is one of the best ones at the moment, and you can make a bunch of money just by investing on a solid and strong coin, EOS is still one of my favourites and its technology is more than huge now
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN vs ETH ? Your thoughts? on: July 14, 2018, 07:57:29 PM
It would be very difficult to compare these two currencies, really each one has a different purpose. Ethereum is very good at making transactions at low cost and very easy to use, on the other hand Bitcoin is the most chosen by most people who invest in the long term.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I continue to invest? on: July 14, 2018, 07:39:27 PM
This is a personal decision, you should bear in mind that all investments have their risk, that's why you would have to inform yourself and also investigate a little to have knowledge about current projects and platforms.
