A quick update: we (well, some of us, at least) are on our way back from the Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference in Stockholm. Łukasz's presentation was a success, there was a lot of interest in the project, and we've made some great new contacts in the community.
On a related note, we've been approached by a several mine operators who are very enthusiastic about easyMINE and strongly interested in partnering up with us. We're still working out the details, but it's already apparent that we're gonna be going into public beta with - wait for it - at least a THOUSAND rigs working under easyMINE OS!

why bounty portal is still difficult to access? if there is no team to fix it when this is a good project should this problem should be resolved soon
No idea. We want to emphasize, once again: bountyportals.com is a third-party service that we use. Whatever problems the site has, we cannot fix them. We don't have that kind of access. All we can do is ask our campaign manager for help - which we do, regularly. We do want to assure you, however, that the stakes will eventually be tallied up correctly. Don't worry.

I can see that the german ann thread has been translated.
Is the whitepaper/website still available?
Please advise. Thank you

Just to be clear, the EMT tokens are for fundraising only and it won't be necessary to use them to pay for accessing the server component in the cloud? Everything will be open source and local?
Amel has already answered this for the most part, but just to clarify: The system itself will be free and open source. Advanced features (autoconfig, automatic mining, smart optimization) will be paid. EMT tokens will be used to pay for access to these "smart" functionalities. And what will the advantage be over ethOS?
Better efficiency, more features, and very high level of automation at every step of the setup/mining process. Today I saw that they had gathered for some sort of cryptoconference in Stockholm. Maybe there will advertise their project
That's right - tomorrow (Thursday, Sept 7) we will be at the Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference in Stockholm. That's just the first stop - we'll be on the road most of September, attending blockchain-related events in a number of major European cities. We hope to generate more buzz around the easyMINE project and, hopefully, gain more supporters.

Just small bonuses for early investors, so it happens. It would be better to have a more flexible bonus system done
Perhaps, but we didn't want to overly complicate things. Besides, as far as we are concerned, the ICO is already a scuccess.

Folks, we are told that your social media activity is being recorded no matter if you can access the site or not. If you are really concerned about your stakes, the best thing to do is to contact bountyportals or irfan_pak10 directly. Describe the problems you are encountering in as much detail as possible and make sure to include the email address you used to register for the campaign.

That is, at the end of this year there will be a public beta version of which you can use? It is very cool
Sooner than that. September/October, most likely. The counter of investments on a site is not brought down? There were no new transactions, but 650 ethereum was added. Or is it just for another wallet? Tier 2 ends? Need to rush to buy at a discount?
BTC payments arrive at a separate address. The second tier will end at 2,900 ETH. Probably no point waiting if you want to buy at 0.0075 ETH. The beta will be available later this year only to investors or will be available to everyone?
How much will be the prices for premium services?
On which phase of development are you and where we can follow the development diary?
It'll be a public beta. There may be some sort of registration process. The pricing model hasn't been determined yet. We know one thing for sure: we want to keep the fees low. The profit margins for mining aren't that great, and we want easyMINE to be an affordable option even for people who only run one or two rigs. The OS is up and running, and so is a dev version of the admin dashboard (monitoring, remote flash + overclock, history). We're working on adding support for more hardware (auto recognition & setup for nVidia cards, at the moment). As for a dev diary, we don't have one, as such. There may be something coming up in the near future, though. Stay tuned.

On the functional beta version will be very different from the release? Can it be used already?
The current beta does not have any of the automation/optimization features. These will come later (see our development roadmap). It's not available to public yet (as stated above - later this year), but we're using it internally. Approximately half of our mine runs on easyMINE already.

But there will be some kind of beta which can already be used? Or just the version that will be in a year?
Beta version will be available later this year. When you say software do you mean this will be like bundled software which will include the miner and rest of the monitoring/service app needed for mining?
Yes, it'll be a self-contained package, everything you need to start mining. Do you have any alpha/beta screenshot of how your software would look like?
It's not really presentable yet. The software is functional but it's a "developer version" - not something you want to show around. Can I still join the Twitter bounty ? Thanks in advance !
Sure, the bounty campaign will continue until the end of the ICO.

Hi there,
very nice project. Two quick questions:
1. What kind of premium services do token holders get? Any chance to specify this?
2. Does the eMOS only work with specific mining hardware? Or can I also turn a Windows pc into a miner with it?
Thanks
By way of introduction, please keep in mind are still about a year away from official public release, so all this is very tentative. The plan, however, is as follows: The core features of the eMOS system will be available for free. So, with the OS package downloaded from the easyMINE website you will be able to (manually) configure your hardware, view and manage your equipment inventory, control the hardware/software settings (again, manually), and review performance history. In other words, the core package will be enough to set up and run your mine, providing you don't mind doing all the configuration, optimization & management work by yourself. The real strength of the easyMINE platform, however, lies in its "smart" features - the AI-driven automatic configuration and optimization functionalities that allow your mine to essentially self-manage. These features will require access to the central easyMINE server and knowledge base and will be paid. This is where EMT tokens come in - they will allow you to access these services. As for hardware, if a computer can run Linux and has sufficient processing power available to actually mine anything, it can probably run easyMINE.

I repeat my question, why was initially indicated 34 days ico will go, and now 43?
The contract doesn't run until a specific date, it runs for 200,000 blocks on the ETH chain. Since the difficulty of mining Ethereum keeps increasing, the time it takes to process one block also increases. Take a look here, this should give you a clear idea of what's going on. The duration in days was always meant only as an approximation.
|
|
|
hy dev When date will ico sale of this project be completed? And if still can join in bounty facebook and twitter? Sorry i was late reading this thread
There's no end date, as such. 200,000 blocks on the ETH blockchain or until the tokens sell out. The bounty campaign runs until the close of the ICO, so you can still give it a go.

The question to the developers: does not it bother you that mining becomes more industrial than home? I understand your development for home mining
Not really, we think there's always going to be room for small-scale mining. The segment might even grow, if sufficiently accessible, easy-to-use tools become available. We hope easyMINE will fit this bill. Having said that, there's no reason why easyMINE couldn't be adopted by large or even very large mining operations.
|
|
|
Will it be announced how many are collected on pre ico? I would like to understand the interest. As well as pre-ico and ico stacked to achieve the hardcap?
All the money raised during preICO is forwarded to the ICO contract, so the moment the ICO starts, you will be able to see exactly where we are with the sale.

The tokens will be issued immediately on purchase. When they'll be tradeable on crypto exchanges is another matter. We want EMT to be available on at least one major exchange in Sep/Oct, and then on one more by the end of the year.
|
|
|
Tell me after what time after ico is planned to enter the exchange? It was written q4 2017, it's very approximate
The fourth quarter of this year is as specific as we can be at this moment, since the details are not entirely up to us. We're communicating with several cryptocurrency exchanges at the moment, but we can't promise an exact date until the negotiations are finalized.

The explanation might be much simpler - the bountyportals people are experiencing problems with their servers. We re told, however, that the stakes are being recorded regardless.
