I have been looking for somewhere to invest, NEM had been in the list but it keeps going down.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get carried away! on: September 27, 2018, 06:40:21 PM
You're right but people will always choose to learn the hard way. Which is okay because that's how markets are natural  Wink
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you manage your risks? on: September 27, 2018, 06:24:23 PM
I don't. jk   Grin thing is that I never made huge amounts of money so it doesn't matter whether what I make will have the risk associated with it. I just go with the instinct and it's lose or win.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Everyone talks about the fall of the market. Is it so? on: September 27, 2018, 06:22:14 PM
whenever price rises it is implied that the price will go back down. HARD. The reason is very simple, while the coin is hot the new investors are lured in swarms by the flashy prices, but then the dust is settled and there are no more investors coming in, so the price has to settle somewhere, then starts the panic sellers and then the people who panic sell on the panic sell. That's why the price has to go down and down until every weak hand is no more hand and then the price recovers again, rinse and repeat.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Almost won 2 BTC from an exchange ~ My heart broke on: September 24, 2018, 06:00:57 PM
ah man, it sounds sad. Well, your guess was just as good as any other that didn't win.  Sad
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency is your future? on: September 21, 2018, 04:39:39 AM
I like to invest here and there, nothing major. I am skeptical person in general. And will see if cryptocurrency can stand the times ahead.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcointalk rank down on: September 20, 2018, 07:18:56 AM
what is this new update? Where can I read more about it? I have been hearing about it here and there.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are old coins no more profitable on: September 20, 2018, 07:06:06 AM
Redd is one coin which has always been profitable, still high prices, it used to trade for 1 satoshi. so it depends, some coins generate profit even after years.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100 usd enough to start trading ? on: September 13, 2018, 05:09:17 PM
Yes but buy smaller coins. Don't hold bitcoins or ETH because its amount too small to be significant on your holdings in the future.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we adopt altcoin to pay wages? on: September 13, 2018, 05:06:55 PM
Yeah, maybe in the future something like this could be achieved. For now we shall believe in the fact that the Bitcoin exists and has taken the form of a successful currency so far.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we adopt altcoin to pay wages? on: September 07, 2018, 07:12:51 AM
Is there a point in doing this, the next person will dump the coins to get dollar. We need to create a whole chain of crypto utilization where the top to bottom trading of goods happens on btc and usd is not involved.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how much you can profit from altcoins on: September 06, 2018, 01:40:02 PM
at times I made up to 1000% but that very rarely happens. Sometimes I do lose 100% of my investment too.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICOs Exist In 2 Years? on: September 06, 2018, 07:48:34 AM
Honestly 100ETH per person is nowhere normal. I am not against the ICOs but they should give a regular user even with his $100 able to invest. But I see that the developers and the teams are getting greedier everyday.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is temorary spike on: September 06, 2018, 07:45:48 AM
Grin Bitcoin going down I see. You were right and so was I. Correction is imminent.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel like quitting? on: August 30, 2018, 10:01:01 AM
Market has seen worse days, I guess you weren't here 2014-2015 period. This is nothing  Grin
16  Other / Archival / Re: Ethereum Will the Next Bitcoin? on: August 30, 2018, 08:06:46 AM
Meh, pass. Ethereum is good coin but next Bitcoin? What makes you think that? Blind optimism?
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why consider Altcoins? on: August 29, 2018, 10:07:08 AM
With altcoins I think traders stand to make more money and that's why the altcoins keep on coming every other day and a lot of them have been successful too, that's apparent. SO I don't see why NOT altcoins?
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypro will make people smarter? on: August 24, 2018, 07:45:28 AM
People are stupid and they will always get scammed no matter how much regulations are in place. The regulations might help in making more acceptance by general public but it doesn't do any good to avoiding scams.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason behind falling Bitcoin? on: August 24, 2018, 07:36:49 AM
we had a massive bull run lasting few years now. The bear trend was bound to happen, nothing unexpected. We will see a bull run again in 2 years
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Proof of trade!! on: August 23, 2018, 06:51:13 AM
I think it means if you are trading on an exchange btc/thiscoin then you are entitled to some amount of coins.. likely given by the developers as a "proof of trade" reward to the coin traders. But this is likely not part of the software, probably done by the developers (didn't bother to look at that link).
