1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BSV twitter account banned on: September 06, 2020, 09:51:40 PM
I really don't trust and like this fork coin from bitcoin, It was purely made to make profit to its creator. I hope they all banned those so called fork and out their circulation for eternity.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much have you earned in one year on: September 06, 2020, 09:48:28 PM
This year was quite rewarding for me, I bought some cheap tokens/coins from last year and some of them made a parabolic move and earned me some money that is better than my entire year of salary. Grin
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't venture into something you aren't completely sure about. on: September 06, 2020, 09:44:42 PM
Most experience miners would know where to mine, there are still coins which is profitable to mine but I guess mining will stay just for Bitcoin cause some token and coins are doing PoS and running nodes is a new thing which require very minimal electricity if you run it from an instance.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not fall for all DeFi HYPES on: September 06, 2020, 04:09:40 PM
I dont ever decide on investing on something due to some hype. Its better to do your own research rather than to fall as a groupie due to some hype.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can new crypto beat Eth in the market? on: September 06, 2020, 03:19:14 PM
Well i hope so. I think more people will give other coins a chance since ETH is getting more expensive as a gas price. Tho theyll have to rise against the already established ETH. But its not too far off.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT TYPE OF CRYPTO INVESTOR ARE YOU? on: September 06, 2020, 03:18:16 PM
Im an enthusiast also a long term holder, I dont like swing trading due to the fact it stressed me. I set goals when to set my money, but I have more interest in token or project with the intention of revolutionizing and making things better and fast.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: September 06, 2020, 03:11:57 PM
It might be that in the public some crypto currencies are more valuable than gold, say the bitcoin for example. But the thing about crypto is that it is too unstable, its in the top of the market now but its anyones guess if it stays there or if it dies, unlike gold it doesnt plummet to the depths of value randomly, but through out time gold stayed and becomes even more valuable. What im saying is, crypto might seem like above gold but its unsable and no one knows when itll turn to nothing.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: September 06, 2020, 03:06:22 PM
While all of these are true without a doubt, let us not forget about another thing that should be added on the list which are the scammers themselves. Some of the new people who get scammed are just people who are trying to earn a living in this platform that is new for them and people shamelessly take advantage of that. I just find it kind of sad instead of just helping people specially in this trying times.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with 1000% Plus Profits on: September 06, 2020, 03:03:57 PM
You need volume for this to be legitimate profit, yep I agree to some people above. Low cap/volume can be easily manipulated. You need to always to consider the volume and also where its being traded.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get moved by fake good news on: September 06, 2020, 03:02:53 PM
A lot of people have been posing on every platform saying all these fake testimonies about projects theyve earned money from but the thing is if it was really true i dont think theyll ever share it with random strangers. I just believe testimonies that people i actually know tell me.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is not easy to make money in cryptocurrency on: September 03, 2020, 12:47:05 PM
Getting into crypto, a lot of people think that this trade is easy money. Like in the philippines, people fell for investment schemes promising upto 400% profit and all the organization have to say is that theyre investing it on crypto and that somehow makes it believable.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need your advice on: September 03, 2020, 10:33:51 AM
Try to get into ripple just for good measure. Ripple is steadily catching up to ETH in regards with reliability. Just try it out, besides its highly unlikely for ripple to plundge down.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't fall for this YFI / YFII Telegram scam! on: September 02, 2020, 10:55:02 AM

This is what I received in that group, I thought to check this out as I smelled some scam.

Everything was good, until they, in their group, started asking to send Eth and get back double the Eth.

Now, the shittiest part here, as you already know that gas fee is too high in the Eth network specifically for DeFi protocol, what these guys threw in the bot was hilarious! They sent me this:

Then, when I gave my address, they showed me this:

Quote (YFI):
🦄 My ETH Address
💹 Distribute in 09/03/2020
⛽ Send 0.005 Ethereum  to process your withdrawal.

◾ Users who caught taking only proof of others will be permanently banned

◾ Your Screen Shot of Deposit or Transaction hash 📸

TBH, I can clearly say these mofos are none from YFI's team and you won't get anything once you send them the Eth, so just don't fall for this! Wink

And the same shit is inside YFII's channel too but I'm not going to share it. Just don't fall for these coins, they're worth so high that it's common sense nobody would give them for free.

I guess the rule of thumb here is just not to trust anything that promises you money for not doing anything. Promising to double your money if you jist send them money is sketchy enough. Never trust too good to be true gains. Ever.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I like to collect the token on: September 02, 2020, 10:23:27 AM
Do you have a preference for collecting tokens instead of selling them?
Currently in my wallet there are more than 200 tokens with different values and I do not sell them every time it is listed. I keep them and watch them every day. I was fascinated by the fact that there were many tokens in my wallet and not paying attention to their price.
Do you think this is a crazy hobby?

I mean if you have the money to spare, risking the possibility of losing money just to see you have coins collected, i guess its not a problem. Its your money after all. But if you wont let go of them, their always gonna be money listed on water. They have value now, but you wouldnt be sure if theyd still mean something the next time.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum overpower Bitcoin in the future? Which side are you on? on: September 01, 2020, 01:37:58 PM
Its hard to see this happening soon, its also hard to give assumptions now since eth is far too behind bitcoin. BTC has a lot of following backing it up and its already established the name and proved its worth. Tho its possible if eth manages to overcome this, but that future is far too beyond. Maybe someday, but not anytime soon.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uniswap on: August 30, 2020, 01:28:26 PM
This gas craze going on with decentralized exchanges are crazy, this is why I still prefer to trade on tier 1 centralized exchange. FOMOS and hype will be gone soon, I just hope this gas fees being charged by dex will be lessen its a big turn off.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get moved by fake good news on: August 30, 2020, 01:58:13 AM
You are browsing through Twitter or telegram and you come in contact with news like this '𝙄 𝙖𝙢 𝙨𝙤 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝  Mr George Anderson ịt has been a life changing experience and a God sent to humanity 𝙞𝙣𝙗𝙤𝙭 𝙝im 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙖 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙚'
Join link???

When ever you come across such it's a total scam, it's never real to begin with, it's just a fake good news to lure you into a trap, do not bother to read

The fact is people who make it big aren't always ready to share news about how they do it

I mean people who do this are kinda obvious. I just ignore them unless i know them personally. Most of these 'testimonies" sounds bogus anyways since they all sound repetitive.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple the next bitcoin? on: August 28, 2020, 09:59:23 AM
I think its too soon to call ripple as the next bitcoin but its not too far off tho. Ripple is on the rise but the way bitcoin made its run before is way different than how ripple is doing now considering there are a ton of other coins out there.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to call the people into crypto on: August 28, 2020, 03:21:56 AM
I think now is the best time to get into crypto. The pandemic is bad i know but it is making crypto more investable than it is within the past two years.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be the best time to invest? on: August 23, 2020, 12:58:54 AM
Any day is a great time for opportunity but the best time to invest was back 2018-2019 everything was in bargain, while happening today is more like a FOMO and hype from defis. If youre good swing trader, then this is the best time for you most defi's are pumping and market is very volatile.
