Some questions:
1. How many coins held by the devs? 20,000,000,000 total supply is kinda worrying. Especially if you set your own token price for an ICO and declare you're worth 100million dollars.
2. PoS or PoW coin?
3. What are the block times like?

"There's currently a >51% attack going on on XVG which exploits a bug in retargeting in the XVG code.
Usually to successfully mine XVG blocks, every "next" block must be of a different algo.. so for example scrypt,then x17, then lyra etc.
Due to several bugs in the XVG code, you can exploit this feature by mining blocks with a spoofed timestamp. When you submit a mined block (as a malicious miner or pool) you simply
set a false timestamp to this block one hour ago and XVG will then "think" the last block mined on that algo was one hour ago.. Your next block, the subsequent block
will then have the correct time."
What several bugs enable this? How is this looked over. Is this a commonly applicable exploit or something unique to verge's code?

I was trying to do the same steps pointed in the original article, but first of all I tried to get the whole database from the blockchain.
I used ABE library to copy the data from bitcoinCore to a SQL database, unfortunately, It take a looooong time to make this job. So, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to make this job as faster as possible. I'm trying to do this as exercise. I'm new in the bitcoin world, but i'm used to programming in a python and C/C++ throughout my career.
Could anyone explain me the faster way to put the whole blockchain into a database?

if the Developer can show Activity and add another node to the network and talk about the NeXT trading sites he will get this coin to.
then yes i will continue mining this coin, if the dev is dead we will never get the price up on this coin
Agreed, been looking at this coin and I think it's very interesting. Will be putting my money on it if it dumps or if dev posts update soon. Interested to see where this goes. |

edit: Nevermind, found it: "You should register your profile at TheWorldNews.net ICO site, and use it transfer functions to buy TWN tokens." from their website. Or does this mean pre-ICO only?
2. If this is decentralised who gets to post news and who/what gets to determine which information is true/false?
3. What type of news will you be posting? Everything and anything? Or will it be focused on politics, or crypto-related news, or sports, etc.

1. How is XGR backed by gold? 2. For every ';x' amount of coins how much gold is there backing it? 3. Does price fluctuation affect the amount of gold being backed? 4. Is there constantly more gold being added to catch up with coins being created from PoS? 5. What proof is there that the gold is actually there? Can we 'audit' you at any time? Also what type of security is there in order to prevent theft of this gold? 6. Is there any possibility in the future to trade 'x' amount of coins for 'y' amount of gold? Not being a hater, just common criticism questions I'm sure other investors are curious about. I'd love to know more about this coin before I invest properly into it thanks  |

Why would I invest into this 'secure' 'annonymous' coin over something like XMR, or DeepOnion? Are there any obvious benefits?
I really like the low supply though, and the fact that it's being raised by the community. Not being a hater just common criticism.
